With Captain America restored to life, he and T'Challa realize the Avengers have a spy in their midst, forcing the King of Wakanda to return to Atlantis before they can sabotage peace talks.
Tropes:
- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Hunter's only condition for assisting T'Challa is if he asks. Though it takes a moment, T'Challa does so.
- Crazy-Prepared: Hunter comes up with a plan to infiltrate Atlantis via a method he assumes they won't see coming. The princess did see it coming and is waiting for them.
- I Can Still Fight!: Captain America insists on trying to help, even as Shuri points out he can barely stand, even with Wakandan medical care. As a result, T'Challa's forced to substitute with Hunter.
- Imposter Forgot One Detail: Not just forgot, but never bothered. Steve gets Zanda to reveal herself by listing his own biographical information to prove he is who he says he is, then starts reciting Nat's, only to stop and ask her to give her place of birth. Zanda immediately gives up the ruse.
- Put on a Bus: The Avengers go to Atlantis. Well, Iron Man and Hawkeye do. Thor, Ant-Man, Captain and Ms. Marvel are gone, and we never hear from the last four ever again.
- The Reveal: Zanda is Black Widow, and has been for some time.
- Spotting the Thread: Steve is quickly able to rumble Zanda as not being Black Widow.
- Tell Him I'm Not Speaking to Him: T'Challa initially refuses to speak to Hunter directly, only doing so through Shuri, until she tells both of them to knock it off.
- Wham Shot: Black Widow takes Tony's armor, telling him it'll be safer than leaving it near Attuma. Cut to "Nat" in the jet, modifying it.
