Conditioned to Accept Horror: The reason Zeke's plan of turning Levi's men into Titans doesn't work. Levi already lost so many people he cared for to get where he is now, that having to kill some more of his men-turned-Titans didn't faze him.
Cruel Mercy: Despite what Zeke did to his squad and forcing him to kill them, Levi still spares Zeke. Though allowing him to recover, Levi decides to lodge a Thunder Spear in Zeke and even cut off his feet in case he tries transforming again.
Eren quickly beats Armin in a fight after Armin punches him in the face. Eren even rubs salt in the wound by saying that, if he and Armin never fought during the time they've known each other, was because Eren knew they could never have a fair fight.
Keith Shadis doesn't stand a chance against the members of the 109th Trainee Corps after Floch incites them to beat him until he can't stand on his feet.
Levi delivers two of these, the first one to the horde of Titans Zeke set up to him, and then he delivers another curb-stomp battle to Zeke himself in Beast Titan form.
Death Glare: Levi gives a withering one to Zeke when he pursues him.
Defiant to the End: Shadis stands his ground as the Jeagerists rally soldiers into beating him up. Shortly after, he is flat on the floor, bruised and battered.
Did Not Think This Through: Levi's squad begs him to let them drink the Marleyan wine while on duty. While none of them knew it was spiked with Zeke's spinal fluid, it's still against protocol to drink on the job; something only Levi lives to regret.
Hidden Disdain Reveal: Eren proclaims that Mikasa is unable to resist her obligation to protect him due to her "Ackerman Blood", and that he could never stand the sight of someone like her who was simply conditioned to be a slave. This comment is what finally pushes Armin past the Rage Breaking Point as he assaults Eren.
Instantly Proven Wrong: Zeke assumes that Levi would hesitate to kill his own squad mates after they have become Titans. That was a big mistake.
Kick the Dog: Eren tells Mikasa that he's always hated her ever since they were little, just to highlight how callous he has become up to this point.
No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Armin gets into a fight with Eren, and it ends with Eren pummeling Armin senseless and leaving him writhing on the floor.
Not Brainwashed: When sitting down with Armin and Mikasa, Eren denies the accusation that he is being manipulated by Zeke and says that he is free and therefore everything he has been doing lately is his own free will.
Oh, Crap!: Zeke gets a major one seeing that his distraction failed, resulting in an extremely pissed of Levi coming after him.
Eren delivers a brutal one to Armin and Mikasa, of all people. He explains calmly and yet ferociously that he believes Bertolt's memories are taking over Armin's brain, which means he's being manipulated by an enemy, and that such influence is making him fall in love with another enemy, which is why Armin visits Annie regularly. He then goes on to coldly dismiss Mikasa's feelings and explain that her devotion to him is nothing more than the influence of her Ackermann blood compelling her to protect her host, calling her a "slave" and expressing that he's always hated her.
Armin delivers a minor one back to Eren, asking if, in the end, the freedom he was looking for amounts to just being able to hurt his friends, in particular Mikasa, and saying that he's being manipulated by Zeke while thinking he's acting out of free will.
The Jeagerists give some soldiers the choice of beating up Shadis and join their cause or face imprisonment.
After turning Levi's squad into Titans, Zeke gives him a choice to kill them all to catch up with him, or be eaten by them. Unfortunately for Zeke, Levi chose the former.
So Last Season: Zeke makes sure to harden his nape when he transforms into Beast Titan form for his rematch with Levi, which he didn't have time to do when they first fought. Unfortunately for him the Thunder Spears have been mass produced at this point and its a simple matter for Levi to fire four into his nape once he gets close enough and blow him out of his Titan.
Tragic Keepsake: A flashback implies that Zeke's glasses are this. He gets distraught over the loss of the glasses and asks Levi where they are. Levi, however, couldn't care less about it.
