Dr. Weird creates a mutant creature named Mothmonsterman. The creature escapes and flies to the Aqua Teens' house, attracted by the light. The Aqua Teens have been using Carl's power, and he takes the power cord. Craving light, the moth creature phones the Aqua Teens from a school bus parked outside, but Shake believes the caller to be Dracula.
"Bus of the Undead" contains examples of:
- Callback: Mothmonsterman escapes Dr. Weird's lab using the hole that Rabbot made.
- Note: this is the second time that this has happened.
- Clone Army: An army of cloned Brownie-monsters appear after Shake leaves a pan of brownies on Frylock's cloning machine for several days.
- Demonic Possession: Shake thinks that the bus near their house is possessed by Dracula.
- Furry Reminder: Mothmonsterman gets attracted by the Shake Signal.
- HA HA HA—No: This occurs when Carl heads to the Aqua Teens' house, which is blaring with lights:Meatwad: Good morning, Carl!Carl: Yeah, it is a good mornin' there, little man...IT'S THREE IN THE MORNIN'!
- Harmless Villain: Averted, at first it seems like Mothmonsterman seems normal compared to some of the other villains the Aqua Teens have faced. But at the end he captures Carl and lays eggs all over his esophagus.
- Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: Mothmonsterman
- No Ending: The episode ends with the Aqua Teens fleeing from the Brownie-monsters.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Possibly the first time that Carl has died.
- Uncertain Doom: It is unknown what became of Mothmonsterman after he is surrounded by Brownie Monsters.
