"Ho... ho... ho."

After a group of influencers comes under fire for their bad behavior on social media, a mysterious man dressed as Santa Claus (Danny Trejo) decides to punish them for being naughty.

"The Naughty List" contains examples of:

  • All Part of the Show: A number of people are under the impression that the violent deaths of the Bro House cast are actually elaborate pranks.
  • Ambiguously Bi: James gets excited at the idea of creating homoerotic content for the benefit of Bro House's female fans, and ends up getting a poorly-concealed erection when Zinn and Wyatt are licking ice cream off his stomach for one of said videos. He eventually admits that he did get an erection, but it's still left unclear whether he's actually into dudes.
  • Ambiguously Human: It's unclear whether this Santa is just a Christmas-themed serial killer or the "Wild Man" who is an actual mythological basis for Santa. At the very least, he has strength enough to twist a man's head around 180 degrees with his bare hands until his spine pops out of his neck, and the Christmas tree he leaves behind at the end hints at the latter interpretation.
  • Asian Airhead: Wyatt, who is Asian, is easily the most dimwitted of the group.
  • Asshole Victim: All of the bros in the Bro House, with Barry being the least awful. It's difficult to feel too bad for them when they're violently murdered and their in-universe audience seems to agree, as all their publicity stunts to save their channel just end up losing them more and more subscribers, and it's not until Santa posts videos of their deaths that they start getting new ones and actually hit the 5 million subscriber goal in the process. Tellingly, the Bro House members seem to be murdered in order from most to least douchey— first Wyatt, then Zinn, then James and then lastly Barry.
  • Bad Santa: "Santa" is one of the most extreme examples of this trope.
  • Black Dude Dies First: Averted. Wyatt is the first of the Bro House to die, followed by Zinn. Only after is James offed.
  • Car Fu: The episode ends just as "Santa" is about to run down another mall Santa with his truck.
  • Christmas Episode: The episode is set around Christmas.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: A mall Santa murders a group of pranksters because they interrupted his gig.
  • Dude, Not Funny!: The reaction to the social media influencers trying to profit off of a man killing himself puts their channel into a tailspin.
  • Everyone Has Standards: When the Bros premiere the suicide video at their Christmas party, the guests are disgusted and walk out.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: Trejo's voice is naturally pretty deep, but here his voice sounds deeper than it should be.
  • Faux Yay: Zinn comes up with the idea of putting on homoerotic displays in their videos, thinking it will attract Yaoi Fangirls. It doesn’t work, as they go way over the top with both their displays of "affection" and their repeated disclaimers of "no homo", but mostly because being gay or bisexual has nothing to do with posting someone's suicide online.
  • Here We Go Again!: The episode ends with "Santa" stalking another Mall Santa to Kill and Replace.
  • Holiday Episode: Takes place around Christmas, with the massacre at the Bro House occurring on Christmas Eve. Downplayed in that the episode's air date wasn't timed to align with the holidays and actually premiered in July.
  • Horror Doesn't Settle for Simple Tuesday: The holiday season isn't enough to dissuade "Santa" from going on a killing spree.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Barry reveals that the family of the man whose suicide Bro House filmed are due to address the matter at a press conference. Wyatt calls them "attention whores" .
  • Karma Houdini: While his actions against the Bro House aren't unjustified given their own asshole behavior. By the end, the Serial Killer is still on the streets, ready to kill yet another mall Santa and other possible victims.
  • Mythology Gag: Barry becoming distracted by social media to the point where he forgets to run for his life is reminiscent of the scene in the Scream Queens pilot where Ariana Grande's character uses her phone to text and tweet for help rather than make a potentially-lifesaving phone call.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: The Bro House is an obvious expy for "hype house" style vloggers, while the plot is specifically inspired by Logan Paul and his "suicide forest" scandal.
  • Obliviously Evil: Wyatt is particularly oblivious about how terrible he and the other bros are. Once the responses to their mall prank video start coming in, he whines "How can everybody be so mean?!"
  • Only Sane Man: Barry is the only member of the group who seems to understand how appalling Bro House's content is, although he is still pressured into going along with it. Subverted towards the end, when he seems to be more concerned with the fact that the channel reached a social media milestone while his friends were dying as opposed to trying to escape.
  • Pretty Freeloader: All the bros count, since they don't have jobs or pay rent, and are entirely dependent on sponsorship and ad revenue.
  • Social Media Before Reason:
    • All the occupants of the Bro House suffer from this, going so far as to film someone's suicide rather than call the police or try to help.
    • Even though both of his legs are severely injured, he's bleeding out, the Santa just poured gasoline on him through the chimney and he just sent a message asking for help on their channel, Barry forgets all about his situation and trying to escape the second the Bro House channel hits 5 million subscribers and starts celebrating it instead.
    • Also applies to their followers, who believe the gory murders of the Bro House to be a prank (or just don't care) even when Barry begs for help; and keep sharing the videos.
  • Sure, Let's Go with That: Wyatt agrees with Barry that creating queerbaiting content would be offensive; despite clearly having no idea what Barry is talking about.
  • Yaoi Fangirl: Invoked by Zinn, who assumes homoerotic content will attract an audience of these that'll help them bounce back from the suicide video controversy. It fails.
