Sara wakes up after being in a coma for six years. After this, she doesn't recognize her daughter Alia, disappointing her. Alia quickly learns she has lost all memory of her past life, and begins to display strange abilities. While trying to discover what's going on with her, Alia finds she's linked to other coma patients who woke up in similar circumstances, with something very strange going on...

- Disappeared Dad: Alia never knew her father, she tells Sara, her mom (who's lost memory of her life). It was always simply them, but she's fine with that.
- Energy Beings: The aliens appear to be electrical beings, as seen as two leave Earth and then the one inside of Sara brings her back, enhancing the defibrilation paddles with its own energy.
- I Choose to Stay: Sara quits her people's mission, not wanting to be a part of it anymore since she likes life on Earth instead.
- Mind over Matter: Wayne is able to halt an entire military convoy by raising a hand. Sara makes the soldiers escorting Lexi lower and keep down their guns with a thought as well.
- Not Himself: Alia and the audience quickly learn Sara is definitely different from the woman she'd once been, not even remembering that Alia's her daughter. She's now involved with a strange man named Wayne who is up to mysterious business, and has peculiar abilities. It turns out she's not actually Sara, but an alien inhabiting her body.
- Riddle for the Ages: It's never explained exactly what the aliens had been doing on Earth, though we can guess it was probably to do with espionage and infiltration.
- Super-Senses: Sara can pick up distant sounds, including radio signals, and repeat them back in the wake of her coma.
- Talking in Your Sleep: Sara's bizarre rambling and repeating things nearby when she sleeps alerts her daughter Alia that something is very off with her.
