Heath and Akiko's group enter their household in settling in, alongside meeting Skyler's secondary wife named Otoboshi. There is a family reunion, yet Akiko and her 'mom' (much to Hifumi's anger of ordering her daughter to refer her as mother) have a strained relationship following the experiences of Lost Christmas alongside Hifumi's fallout with Makoto, in which they have a huge argument of Heath and Akiko joining Funeral Parlor.
Other flashbacks contain how Heath and Ayase's parents (Skyler and Ayase Hanazawa) first met in high school before they break up in bittersweet yet good terms following their graduation, Akiko stumbles upon her parents' intercourse and interrupted it, and Hifumi/Skyler/Otoboshi's threesome.
There is some good times in the past such as showing old photographs, and more times in Sakai like the hotsprings and fireworks.
