The short begins with a bird landing on Raggedy Princess' shoulder. Raggedy Princess being her usual self, she decides to recite a poem for the bird, rather than scaring it off. Naturally, the bird flies off in the middle of the poem. At this point the frog passes by, still carrying his crown. Raggedy Princess tries to recite the same poem for him, but the frog just keeps walking, followed by Finn and Jake. Upon reaching a swamp, the frog goes to put the crown on his head, only for the autumn winds to blow it out of his hands and into Jake's. Knowing his adoptive brother all too well, Finn tries to stop him from putting the crown on his head, but to no avail. As soon as the crown touches Jake's head, frogs begin rising out of the swamp to worship him. They build a sculpture out of mud to honor their new king, before picking up and carrying him away. Finn once more tries to stop him, but Jake simply tells him that he wants to see where this goes. The episode ends with the now deeply distraught frog staying with Finn and BMO in the Tree Fort.
