- Back from the Dead: Root Beer Guy is back as Dirt Beer Guy.
- Came Back Strong: When Dirt Beer Guy walks around his house, he wrecks everything he touches because he has zombie strength now.
- Comforting the Widow: Starchy implies that he wooed Cherry Cream Soda either during or not long after Root Beer Guy's funeral, since his grave digger job lets him know who is a "recent widow". He tells this to Cherry Cream as if it's flattering he chose her.
- Dead Guy on Display: Cherry Cream Soda kept Root Beer Guy's remain-filled mug in the living room even after remarrying Starchy, eventually burying him herself after Starchy offered.
- Does Not Know His Own Strength: Dirt Beer Guy has super zombie strength that causes him to wreck his former house through sheer clumsiness.
- Fertile Feet: When Dirt Beer Guy cracks structures with his strength, cattail plants like the one growing out of his head spontanouesly sprout up along the damage with a popping sound.
- Get Out!: Cherry Cream Soda gets fed up with Dirt Beer Guy awkwardly trying to pick up their relationship (and accidentally trashing the house) and snaps at him to leave.Cherry Cream Soda: You come back with no explanation, wreck up the place, and you expect to just pick up where we left off?! Get outta my house!
- Improbable Weapon User: Starchy wields two shovels, plus a trowel taped to his back.
- Lightning Can Do Anything: A freak lightning strike reanimates Root Beer Guy as Dirt Beer Guy.
- Murder the Hypotenuse: Starchy does not take Dirt Beer Guy wanting to speak with Cherry Cream Soda too well.
- Perfectly Arranged Marriage: Root Beer Guy and Cherry Cream Soda's marriage was Bubblegum making them, then pushing them together and declaring them wed.
- Pipe Pain: Dirt Beer Guy picks up the crowbar that helped bring him to life to defend himself from Starchy, but then reconsiders and picks up a large segment of pipe from the ground.
- Psychotic Love Triangle: Starchy, Dirt Beer and Cherry Cream devolve into this, although Dirt Beer is mostly defending himself from Starchy.
- Take a Third Option: Instead of choosing between Starchy and Dirt Beer Guy, Cherry Cream Soda rejects them both, although she is open to dating Dirt Beer Guy and starting over fresh.
