Finn & Jake stumble into two different holes and meet two different fates.

  • Adipose Rex: King Huge is an obese fellow who is constantly fed by his relatively tiny subjects. He struggles when he tries to pull himself off of his throne.
  • An Aesop: While they don't state the lesson out loud, this episode is all about how it's better to work for what you want than to wait and hope you stumble across it.
  • Beary Friendly: 7718 is a small bear who's very amicable.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Jake punches out King Huge upon finding out he kidnapped Finn.
  • Breather Episode: After a lot of dramatic or philosophical episodes all at once, this one has a very casual first season feel.
  • Comically Missing the Point: 7718 carved his name so he wouldn't forget it, but read it upside-down. His real name is Bill, which is what 7718 is when you punch it into a calculator.

  • Giant Food: Although King Huge insists on calling it normal sized.
  • Idle Rich: All King Huge does with his life is eat and watch his clock chime. When Finn goes to break his clock, King Huge gets off his throne for apparently the first time in a long time.
  • I Fell for Hours: 7718 had been falling down the hole for months. In reality, the hole is the chimney for King Huge's stove, and the hot air from it kept the parachutes aloft. Once the fire below went out, he fell right down.
  • Improvised Parachute; 7718 turned his covered wagon into a raft with four parachutes.
  • Indy Ploy: Finn plans an escape route, but when it falls apart as soon as he's untied, he opts to break King Huge's clock instead.
  • Our Giants Are Bigger: Finn falls into the Huge Kingdom, which is ruled by King Huge. Compared to him, Finn is no bigger than a mouse.

  • Reality Ensues: Finn's escape plan goes downhill when he alerts King Huge by yelling triumphantly upon getting untied.
  • Tastes Like Friendship: Finn befriends two of King Huge's servants by feeding them cake so they will untie him.
  • Underestimating Badassery: King Huge taunts Jake and threatens to kidnap him. Jake punches him out with giant fist.
  • Unspoken Plan Guarantee: Subverted. Finn maps out a convoluted escape plan down to the second. The first couple steps go as planned, but the last 80% gets thrown out the window in favor of a different Indy Ploy.
  • You Are Number 6: 7718. His real name is Bill, however; he simply read it upside down.
