After being "grounded" for attempting to kidnap Breakfast Princess, the Ice King accidentally hires a mysterious hitman named Scorcher to take out Finn and Jake.

- Jake mentions getting the lunchmeat for the sandwiches he and Finn are making from a guy called "Meat Man". Though a weird nightmare he has makes him have second thoughts about eating Meat Man's meat anymore.
- Contract on the Hitman: Ice King tries to stop Scorcher by hiring a hitman hitman. Scorcher easily defeats him.
- Enemy Mine: Eventually, Ice King teams up with Finn and Jake against Scorcher.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Ice King doesn't want Finn and Jake dead.
- Faking the Dead: To stop Scorcher from killing Finn and Jake, Ice King freezes them to convince Scorcher that they're dead. It works and he leaves.
