The questionable content sneaked into these shorts may be why some of them weren't picked up as a series like The Fairly OddParents!, ChalkZone, and My Life as a Teenage Robot.
- In "Max and the Pigeon Incident", Max at one point accidentally enters a women's restroom through the window. The woman who catches him blows a whistle and accuses him of being a "sicko".
- During Obie's imagination sequence of being in jail for his cereal addiction in "Earth to Obie", one of the inmates can be heard referring to Obie as "sweet cheeks" and making kissy sounds.
- A non-detailed nude pin-up can be seen in the background at one point in the short "Let's Talk Turkey".
- In "The Feelers", Mo Skito informing Mitzi Moth that she knows crashing into lightbulbs isn't good for her can be easily interpreted as a drug reference, plus Mitzi's song "100 Watts of Love" comes off as vaguely sexual with the lyrics mentioning such things as Mitzi being able to "handle any candle" and how she'll always return to the lightbulb for "100 watts of love" in spite of the lightbulb's kisses burning.
- In the Jelly's Day short "Auntie Broth's Makeover", Auntie Broth has the quirk of constantly giggling all the time. When Jelly opens up her aunt's head to see why this is the case, she finds that her brain is being tickled by a clown with a French accent, a not-so-subtle pun on the French tickler, which is a condom that is ribbed to enhance pleasure.
