A travelling troupe of Traditionalist magi can work perfectly as a company of entertainers: "See the exotic savages of faraway lands! Witness the incredible power of the man who shatters wood and stone with his bare hands! Gasp in awe at the woman who makes flame dance at her command!" [...] Best of all, many works of magic are much easier to perform when the audience believes in them: a skeptical scholar might doubt the efficacy of sorcery in a university, but nobody thinks twice about trickery and tomfoolery at a fair. Witnesses who do not doubt a performer's abilities - or who actually expect miracles! - make vain workings much easier to perform.
