Undercooked Analysis is a podcast currently hosted on the Benview network, dedicated to analyzing, critiquing, and often times just plain riffing creepypasta and other types of horror found online. The host trio consists of David King, Brandon 'Dead Palette' Patrick, and Allen Chaney, though guest hosts may be brought on from time to time. The first episode was released on November 23rd, 2014 (the subject of which was the creepypasta, Laughing Jack). During the earlier episodes of the podcast, King was the solo host, with Dead Palette joining as a cohost in March of 2015 (for Barbie.avi), and Chaney joining in June of 2016 for Cupcakes (Sergeant Sprinkles). The series has covered a variety of subjects from well-known Creepypasta icons to lesser known gems, and from the abysmally awful to the...just plain weird. The podcast is known among its fans for its combination of critical literary analysis and hilarious non sequiturs.

Undercooked Analysis provides examples of:

  • Alternate Character Interpretation: The insistence that Forenzik from the Happy Appy stories is, in fact, Shaquille O'Neil
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: "I'm Blue", a creepypasta about the band Eiffel 65, mostly known in the US for their song "Blue (Da Ba Dee)". No, seriously. It turned out to be, against all odds, one of the better stories featured on the podcast.
  • Idiot Hero: Allen coined the term 'Gerasymptoms' as a reference to the protagonist of Happy Appy and the term has come to describe any Protagonist/Narrator who continues his/her investigation despite the obvious danger.
    • Gerasymptoms alternately refer to instances of writing or grammar similar to the Narrator of Happy Appy.
  • Insistent Terminology: During their read through of "The Harbinger Experiment," the group keeps referring to the title as, "The Harbinger Experience."
  • Nightmare Retardant: Will have this effect on many a creepypasta - their most glaring flaws will be laid bare (unless of course, they're actually well-written.)
  • Production Posse: David, Allen and Dead Palette often work with other Creepypasta authors such as Slimebeast and Night Mind. Those two and the three main hosts form a subgroup called "The Welcoming Committee", with David's girlfriend Kayla occasionally switching in.
  • Running Gag: AND HOW:
    • Dead Palette's dyslexia has led him to be christened 'Mr. Illiterate' a character who will be brought up any time someone flubs a line.
    • Mormons, and their love of flat, sun-warmed bowls of ginger ale.
    • Turkey vultures, and how not funny they are.
    • 'This is how we roooOOOOooooOOooooll'
    • The ridiculously-named Yu-Gi-Oh! card, Gogiga Gagagigo.
    • Is this running gags list going on for too long? Probably! F*** You, Game Theory!
    • Their flawless impressions of fellow podcaster, Abysmii.
      • Occasionally expands to other friends, including Night Mind.
      • David also does a solid David Lynch impression, which he uses to read instructions in the guise of a dungeonmaster.
    • Dinosaurs did NOT have feathers. They were robots.
    • Really, ANYTHING relating to Happy Appy
    • Dr. Apathy, the Doctor who will break the most devastating medical news without the slightest trace of concern.
      • There's a growing Apathy family, including Nurse Apathy from "Jane the Killer".
    • Whenever a particularly odd sequence of words pops up, Allen claims he 'used to play bass for -Insert Odd Phrase Here-'.
    • Chafeys, Angry Dragons, and Butt Slushees. Don't ask.
    • The UCAHACU- The acronym for the universe in which all UCA headcanons are made reality. Stands for 'The Under Cooked Analysis Happy Appy Cinematic Universe.
    • "Hey future David, could you [x]?" Such requests are always put in the episode directly after David has edited them in. Future David eventually gets treated as a separate character from David.
    • "How did McDonalds end up like this!?"
    • Trap Link: Fish Fucker
    • Gram-Gram and her wild, sound-effect adventures.
    • Owen Wilson: “Woooow!”
    • David’s Gordon Cole impersonation
  • Wham Episode: The final Entry in the 1999 series. it turns out that the author plagiarized an Alan Tutorial video, causing David and Dead Palette to stop in their tracks.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: David's aversion to gore.
