- Straight: Emperor Evulz, who is disguised as Bob, invites Alice to his talk show. When Alice goes to the toilet, Evulz talks to his henchman Charles about planning to kill Alice after the talk show, but then he realizes his talk show is currently broadcasting on live TV.
- Exaggerated: Evulz talks to Charles about taking over the universe and enslaving every single human ever, but then realizes his talk show is currently broadcasting worldwide.
- Downplayed: Evulz talks to Charles about forcing Alice to be on his side, but then realizes that his talk show is broadcasted to Alice's neighborhood.
- Justified:
- Evulz didn't know he was currently being recorded.
- Switch-master Evans called up camera 12 (situated at the inactive Channel 33 News set) when he was supposed to call up camera 21 (situated at the actually running The Right Price set).
- Inverted: Alice, who knows Bob is actually Evulz in disguise, talks about how Bob is Evulz in disguise when Evulz goes to the toilet, thinking it is broadcasted on live TV. She then finds out that the camera was off the whole time.
- Subverted: The camera seemed to be on when Evulz is talking to Charles about his plan. When he checks the camera, though, it is actually off.
- Double Subverted: Alice, knowing that they'd check if it's off, put the on/off-switch upside down, so that it will say 'off' when it's on and 'on' when it's 'off'.
- Parodied: Evulz asks Charles about whether the erectile dysfunction pills he ordered arrived.
- Zig-Zagged: Evulz knows that Alice knows that they'll…
- Averted: Evulz does not talk about his plan when Alice goes to the toilet.
- Enforced: The creators needed a way to get Evulz out of the story quick because he is hated by the fans of the work.
