- Subverted: We see Bob with a cat that looks a lot like him but it's just a random stray cat on the street - it's not his.

- Bob is a Funny Animal cat who also owns a pet cat, and they both look very similar.
- A Running Gag is how similar Bob and his cat look, to the point in which The Ditz actually mistakes them for each other.
