Basic Trope: A drill is used as a weapon.

  • Straight: Bob uses a power drill as a weapon.
  • Exaggerated:
    • Bob's car has a giant drill fitted to the front.
    • Bob pilots a Humongous Mecha which uses a gigantic drill attached on the tip of a Pile Bunker as a deadly weapon with a very long reach and piercing damage.
  • Downplayed: The drill is just one of Bob's many weapons.
  • Justified:
    • Bob is a cyborg who was given a choice of melee weapons when he got his new body. He picked the drill.
    • Bob was attacked while he was drilling the hole for hanging the painting he bought yesterday.
