Basic Trope: Some scenes in a remake are exactly the same as the original.

  • Straight: Many scenes in Troperoo (2005) are the same as the ones from Troperoo (1955).
  • Exaggerated: Every single scene in Troperoo (2005) are the exact same as Troperoo (1955), down to minor details and sounds, which make it feel like a colorisation of the original than a remake.
  • Downplayed: A few scenes in Troperoo (2005) are the same as in the original.
  • Justified: The creators want to make the audience more familiar to the movie.
  • Inverted: All the scenes and the script are entirely different from the original.
  • Subverted: The establishing shot of one scene is the same as the original, but once the characters walk in, the camera position is different from the original.
  • Double Subverted: However, the camera soon changes to the same shot as the original.
  • Parodied: ???
  • Zig-Zagged: ???
  • Averted: The plot is the same while the scenes are different.
