- Straight: Bob eats a magical chicken sandwich and starts turning into a mutant chicken thing.

- Bob eats a chicken sandwich, begins clucking briefly, and then goes back to normal.
- Bob eats a lot of carrots and starts to turn orange.
- Justified: Bob's species naturally assimilates the DNA of their prey.
- Inverted: Bob takes a bite out of his chicken sandwich, which then transforms into another Bob.
- Subverted: Bob starts growing feathers and assumes it was caused by the sandwich- however he later discovers it was a curse.
- Double Subverted: ...the curse of the chicken-flavoured crisps he had for lunch.

- We see Alice adding Mutagenic Goo to Bob's chicken sandwich. There is a dramatic cut to Bob eating the sandwich. The camera zooms in to his face as a look of discomfort starts to form, and then... he belches. He's fine.
- Bob eats a chicken sandwich and turns into ... a KFC employee.
- Zig Zagged: Bob takes a bite of the sandwich and turns into a chicken thing, even though Alice had already taken a bite and is completely fine. It's then revealed that Bob's real form is that of a mutant chicken thing and the sandwich had nothing to do with it. But then Alice has seafood and starts growing fish scales...
- Averted: Bob eats a sandwich and nothing unusual happens.
- Enforced: "I drew this cool picture of Bob turning into a freaky chicken! Can we put this in the show somehow?"
