- Alice couldn't feel the transformation at all, and nothing else seemed too out of the ordinary for her.
- Alice could tell that something was different, so she decided to see if she looked any different.
- Inverted: Alice thinks she's been transformed into a penguin, and doesn't realize that she hasn't changed at all until she looks in the mirror.
- Subverted: Alice gasps...and squees at the cuteness of the new penguin-themed camera filter Bob is showing her.
- Double Subverted: But when Bob tells her she's looking in a mirror, she realizes the truth.
