- Males from Mars are attracted to only human women.
- Male martians only want to copulate with human women, since sex with female martians is either dangerous or unpleasant.
- Downplayed:
- Males from mars have a fetishistic attraction to humans that doesn't extend anywhere past oogling.
- While Martians as a whole are not sexually interested in humans, there is a subset of Martians with a fetish for sex with a radically different sapient species. As the Rule 36 of the Martian GalaxNet says: ''If it exists, there is a fetish for it."
- Justified:
- Convergent evolution produced human aliens. The aliens are similar to humans, either from convergent evolution or from being Transplanted Humans and/or Transhuman Aliens, are horribly inbred due to a Depopulation Bomb of their own, and need humans of either gender specifically to revitalise their genepool or suffer extinction.
- Aliens are Single-Gender Parasitic Species that can only reproduce impregnating other species.
- Human female sex pheromones are the aliens' drugs.
- The aliens feed from psychic energy, and they find the psychic energy generated by Earth females during sex to be powerful or at least very tasty.
- The aliens are investigating this "mysterious" sensation that exists in humans.
- The alien larvae are parasitoids and require a suitable host in order to develop into adult Martians. Turns out the womb of a human is a good place for incubation.
- The aliens have formed a psychic link with the human, but the humans' Id overwhelmed them and made the aliens want more of this "mysterious" sensation.

- Subverted: The visiting Martians see Alice as a Moe Blob, and are interested in her for the same reason that humans are interested in hamsters.
