Basic Trope: The 'Verse hosts a lot of sapient species.

  • Straight: The 'Verse has an average of 15 different races. Including humans, angels, demons, elves, vampires, werewovles, among other races.
  • Exaggerated: The 'Verse has over fifty different races.
  • Downplayed: There are few more than 8 races in The 'Verse.
  • Justified: The creators of the Verse both being archaeologists and anthropologists and knowing exacly what they were doing when they created the setting, and evolution is an important factor in the development of all those different races, despite having a fantastic spin to their origins which includes a bunch of Elder Gods playing creators.
  • Inverted: A negative number of races.
  • Subverted: The "races" are more along the line of classes or religions rather being actual races…
  • Double Subverted: …Until it's revealed that those "classes" are actually just Human Aliens or shape-shifters.
  • Parodied: There are so many races that The 'Verse is reckoning with overpopulation.
  • Zig Zagged: There are a ton of races, but then all but one are destroyed by Jerkass Gods. But then a whole bunch of new, unrelated races come along.
  • Averted: There's only three races in this world.
  • Enforced: "Let's add a bunch of these races to give world more diversity."
  • Lampshaded: "Ugh, there's so many races here, I might as well stick with what's recommended."
  • Invoked: ???
  • Exploited: ???
  • Defied: ???
  • Discussed: "I used to think that a lizard was a lizard, you know, but then I saw that there were as many types of them as there are of people like us."
  • Conversed: ???
  • Played For Laughs: ???
  • Played For Drama: ???
