One day, while hiking in the woods with Alice, they run into a Grizzly bear that growls and roars to them. They are both very frightened and run away:
Alice (panting): "Wow, that was close!"
Bob(also panting): "Yeah, we were almost bear food! Here, I got your extra pair of pants in my backpack."
Alice: "Oh, thanks, wait..." (Feels her butt.) "I don't need them."

    • Then she realizes that she did wet her pants.
  • Parodied:
  • Zig Zagged: Alice slowly empties out her back pockets after mistaking the items one by one for crap in her pants.
  • Averted: Regardless of the situation, Alice has excellent mastery over her bowels and bladder.
  • Enforced: The writers of a kid show want to have a very frightening villain while still keeping the tone light-hearted.
  • Lampshaded:
Bob: "Um, Alice, did you crap your pants?"
Alice: "...Yeah. I did. I sorta have problem with shitting myself when I get scared."
Bob: "Is that why you're always wearing brown pants? I just thought that you had a poor fashion sense."
    Alice: "Pretty much."
Bob: "Well I'm busy, so don't invite me."
Alice: "What? Invite you to what?"
Bob: "To the potty in your pants."

  • Defied: Alice takes some pills before she gets scared which will prevent this.
  • Discussed: "I was so scared I thought I was going to piss myself!"
  • Conversed: "She spends the entire episode walking funny because the bear scared him in the Cold Open."
  • Implied: Alice gets attacked by a bear and runs back home:
Alice: "Good thing I ran away or else I could've lost more than just my pants."
Bob (confused): "But the bear didn't take your pants."
Alice: "Oh trust me, these pants are done for."
  • Deconstructed:
    • Alice shits her pants when confronted by a bear but doesn't get a chance to switch her pants and ends up getting diaper rash.
    • Alice shits her pants but doesn't get a chance to change them because she is lost in the woods so she just removes her pants and leaves them in the forest. When she finally escapes the woods he is arrested for public nudity.
  • Played For Drama: Alice’s soiling of herself is used to emphasize how genuinely terrifying her situation is.
