Basic Trope: A character eats while around a corpse (or sometimes in a similar gruesome circumstance), usually to show how jaded they are.
- Straight: Alice and Bob are doing an autopsy, and they start eating a meal during this time.

- Alice and/or Bob taint the evidence (accidentally or not) by exposing it to food crumbs/condiments/DNA of their bodies that was carried in those crumbs or condiments, which leads to the investigation being derailed if not outright destroyed.
