Basic Trope: A creature that has a head at both ends of its body.
- Straight: The Tropetans are aliens that have heads at both ends of their bodies.
- Exaggerated: The entire back half of a Tropetan is just its front half but replicated.
- Downplayed: Tropetans do have a regular back half, but have another head at the end of their tail.
- Justified: Through the process of natural selection, Tropetans gained another head at the back, as it made it easier for them to see predators.
- Inverted: Tropetans have a tail at both ends of their bodies.
- Subverted: The first Tropetan we see looks to be this, but it is quickly shown that the other head isn't really a head at all.
- Double Subverted: Then a similar alien race, the Troperians, is introduced. They actually have a head at both ends of their body.
- Parodied: ???
- Zig-Zagged: ???
- Averted: No creatures have heads at each end.
- Enforced: ???
- Lampshaded: "Which end is the front?"
- Invoked: ???
- Exploited:
- In cases such as the "exaggerated" case, Tropetans may realize they don't have to use the bathroom anymore.
- Having two heads can make it easier for Tropetans to spot predators.
- Defied: ???
- Discussed: ???
- Conversed: ???
- Deconstructed: In cases such as the "exaggerated" case: Tropetans probably don't have any sort of genitalia, making it impossible for them to do things such as using the bathroom or mating. As a result, they die out.
- Reconstructed: However, Tropetans have some sort of Bizarre Alien Biology, meaning they never have to use the bathroom, and can reproduce asexually.
