This is one of the more unique locations in the House of Nature, as the Hall of Wind and Air is not on the ground, but in the skies. Above floats a massive mass of clouds capable of carrying the weight of even giants. On top of the divine clouds lie multiple temples, with a select few made out of clouds. Getting to the Hall of the Wind and Air can be a problem for those who lack the ability to fly and those who can't bypass the tornado elementals which guard them. However, those who do get to the clouds will find them relaxing and comfortable, and will likely be able to return to the ground easily if they ask one of the gods living on the clouds if they can help them. With all done and said, the Hall of Wind and Air is one of the nicer locations within the House of Nature.

Al'akir

Al'Akir the Windlord, God of Tornadoes (The Windlord, Elemental Lord of Air, Ruler of Skywall, The Last)

• Al'Akir the Windlord, the most powerful Air elemental in all of Azeroth appeared on the House of Wind and Air, trying to claim it as his domain. Of course, he found resistance with the residents of said house, but the Elemental Lord refused to give up. He was finally calmed down after a while given the intervention of various Nature gods, and eventually was given the title of Tornadoes for how devastated state he left his house.
• The main reason why he ascended in the first place has to do with his superiors, The Old Gods, wanting him in. The reason those creatures want him in the first place is not clear, but they did succeed in granting him a place to stay. Although the GUAG surely thinks that nothing good will come out of this.
  • Although many question the real danger of his Tornadoes or the fact that he is a giant Air Elemental (A.K.A. a big Tornado) yet not being capable of harming others.
• Shortly after ascending, he announced himself as the Self-Proclaimed rules of the House of Wind and Air, which didn't sit well with the other ascended Gods of the same house. Plus, they can't stand how loud he is.
  • The only one that seems to tolerate him is Wamuu, but only because he is only interested the Windlord army as a mean to fight powerful foes. Al'Akir wholeheartedly accepted him among his ranks and is very impressed with his Wind control.
• Oficially considered the Weakest Elemental Lord And the other three won't let him forget that. This is a pretty sensitive subject so approach it with care if you don't want to get Blown by his strong winds.
  • As a result, he decided to show off his powers to prove them that he is not weak at all. He ended up targeting Liezerota of all people, given her fragile looks, just to cause some trouble. Unfortunately, not only she was left unharmed, (Lieze has a rare resistance to wind, something that is related to the place she lives), but she kindly offered him some curry if he wanted. Embarrased, he shutted himself in his temple for about 3 weeks with a big sign that said:
  I AM SO DONE!
  • He got better after a while, since he unleashed his wrath on the House of Insects, leaving most of it members devastated. Like his fellow Elemental Lord, he was also banned from entering. He really doesn't mind, as he had a lot of fun doing that. In his own words:

• Surprisingly on good terms with the World Shaman, Thrall. The reason of this friendship is not entirely clear, but when the orc goes to relax in a certain Inn, he becomes one of his entrusted servants. What surprises him is that his fellow Elemental Lord of Water, Neptulon the Tidehunter, seems to do this as well.
  • He will also gladly act as a summon if a person has a good control over Airbending. While he is much more manageable than his Fiery counterpart, the only Drawback is that you have to be a Shaman. He hasn't been lucky so far.
• Surprisingly formed an alliance with Airbender Zaheer who found common ground on their Chaotic Nature. The Windlord offered himself as a special summon if he joined his forces, which the latter wholeheartedly agreed. This obviously didn't sit well with both Aang and Korra, as they have set their eyes on the Elemental Lord of Air in case things get out of control.
• Among the Old Gods ranks, he is considered the Tactician of their Army, even though he isn't frequently seen doing the planning. This made him enemies with The Tactician, given the Windlord's reckless and destructive bahaviour and how many perish under his command, a fact The Tactician considers Taboo.
• Confused both The Genie and Hoopa with his own servants, the Djinnies. The two genies don't really want to serve the Windlord, given to who he responds for. He has surprisingly taken this fairly well, but rumors say that he plans to unleash Hoopa Unbound to make it his Champion, which didn't sit well with The Genie and Hoopa.
• His wind control also makes him able to manipulate Ice and Storm at will, claiming that Frost Mages and Shamans are able to cast Ice Magic thanks to him. He also made rivals of Chaac, given how he is also able to create Rain as well, although Chaac is not very fond of his destructive nature.
• Rules over Skywall, where the Air elemental are confined. Given his position as the Top Air Elemental, he also believes to be the rightful owner of every floating city. This has earned the the ire of both Link and Zelda (Whose past lives used to live on a Floating City) and most Olympians.

Fujin (Mortal Kombat)

• Fujin is the Wind God of Earthrealm and one tasked with defending it from invaders. While not as active as Raiden, his older brother, Fujin is still very dedicated towards the protection of Earthrealm and possibly more compasionate that his brother could ever be. His ascension come following the events of Kronika's meddling with time and in her attempts to create a new era, she had Fujin trapped in the void. After Kronika's defeat, she alognside Nightwolf and Shang Tsung were freed and then had to devise a plan to go back in time and acquire Kronika's crown in order to properly use the Hourglass but an alliance with Shang Tsung was a risky move that ultimately they had to take to ensure victory and while Fujin was ultimately betrayed, his defeat was not in vane as Fire God Liu Kang managed to defeat Shang Tsung and restart the timeline with everyone safe and sound.
• Given his command over wind and being the elemental god of Wind in his setting, it was only natural that Fujin would be recommended by his allies for the position. Raiden felt more relieved knowing his brother was in the Pantheon and if there was someone he would trust, it was him. Fujin however, was alarmed to know that all the foes he faced on his own universe were back and looking to settle the score, but that wouldn't deter him in the slightest.
• Fujin is a lot more approachable than Raiden and less likely to go corrupt. In fact, while he wasn't an ascended pantheonic deity at the time, he tried his best to help the pantheon during his brother's tenure as Dark Raiden and while he got around to the Pantheon after Raiden stopped, he still was tasked by both Rachel Alucard and Thrall to keep an eye on his brother should he get out of line again, though they doubt he will try to return to those old habits.
• Given his domain over wind, it was only natural that he would try to relate to those who can also manipulate the air and for the most part he found like-minded people. However, he faced a lot of opposition from Al'akir, elemental lord of air and one of the most powerful of their house, with Fujin lamenting that he still serves the masters that corrupted him and would rather not try to fight him if possible. He also is dissapointed at Goenitz for being someone who not only manipulates wind for combat but his connections to Orochi soured Fujin's opinion on him, believing Goenitz worships a false god (While Goenitz himself in turn thinks Fujin is the false messiah). Then there was Wamuu, the Pillar man who can also manipulate wind and happens to be the one who held the title in the past, belonging to a group that doesn't have the best intentions only placed him in Fujin's hit list.
• Fujin took a special liking to Avatar Aang for being part of the airbenders of the south and pities that for a while he was The Last of His Kind. Fujin has also been an excellent teacher to Aang, teaching him new tricks that Aang himself wasn't aware of yet and the two for the most part work a lot together in GUAG related matters in order to keep the Pantheon in balance.
• Like mentioned before, Fujin for a deity is a being that is very understanding of humans and mortals and it's implied he even formed a family once, something that his brother never quite approved considering what their duties are. He relates a lot to the Silver Surfer for a similar mindset on other creatures and wishes he would stay as far away from Galactus grasp as possible.
  • To his surprise, he never expected a machine to understand his point of view consider they are as far removed as deity as one would expect. And it happened to be the T-800 Terminator reprogrammed to protect John Connor. Fujin is very familiar with his kind, having encountered one before and the behavior of that one (at first) barely reflected the one this exhibited. Nevertheless, the two share various goals in common and are willing to work together.
• Those that threaten the ones that have no means of protection or look down on mortals as mere insect are the ones Fujin despises the most, and that's saying something considering the nasty people he had the displeasure of encountering. Mard Geer Tartaros for example sounded to him like a Shinnok wannabe that thought himself stronger than he think he is while disliking humans for petty reasons. And then there was the Knight Templar that was Zamasu, a fallen Kaioshing who thinks Fujin living and caring for mortals makes him unworthy of being called a god.
• Unlike other deities in the pantheon, Fujin doesn't hold any animosity towards Kratos and is pretty good friends with him all things considered. Mostly because he helped Kratos return to his universe with the help of Raiden and the two have remained good allies long after the Ghost of Sparta changed his ways.
• Believe it or not, gods too have hobbies. Fujin's just happen to be movies and he also turns out to be a huge Johnny Cage fan (though even he admits Fatal Infinity wasn't his best work). He is also been trying to check out newer material that isn't part of his home universe, starting with the House of Theatre and Spectacle.
• He's heard of the existance of a competition called Death Watch and found it to be not to his liking, ironic considering he hails from a universe where similar contests decides the fate of entire realms. He also isn't impressed with Frederik Von Twirlenkiller turbines that allow him to swing tornadoes at his opponents and find it laughable that he met his end thanks to his own weapons turned against him, something that is unlikely to work with Fujin.

Haze

  • In the prequel: The only party member who can reliably heal, The Cutie, very fond of Lora, likes to read, eat vegetables, and sew talismans, afraid of ghosts

• Long ago, there was a cheerful little girl called Haze who bore a striking resemblance to her driver, Lora. Eventually, she was stolen and altered, complete with no memory of her name. However, upon entering the Pantheon, she regained everything she had lost. This made her reunion with Lora all the more eventful.
• One trait that she got back was her fear of ghosts. Many of the ghosts in the Pantheon frightened her. But special mention goes to Dark Danny. Not only was he in the same house as her "Lady Lora", he embodied the absolute worst possible traits she could've imagined in a ghost. He snuck up behind her for the worst Jump Scare she's ever had and she needed to be saved by Clockwork. While he's also a ghost, she at least acknowledges the fact that her saved her. He tells her that not all ghosts are evil, and thinking otherwise will only cause her and Lora grief in the future. Haze decides to give Danny Fenton, Reimi Sugimoto, and Casper a chance, but still gets goosebumps around them.
• Once that was over, Haze would meet the other Gods who came from her universe. With obvious exception to the evil ones, she got along relatively well with them. In particular, Pyra and Mythra stood out with the former not getting a proper introduction beforehand. Haze's innocent insults towards Mythra caused her to be re-established as the "master of low-key shade".
• She got some pity from Velvet, Eizen, and Eleanor for having her identity taken away from her. They informed her that no one should fall victim to that kind of fate. Haze doesn't think highly of Artorius for doing the same to the Malakhim with Innominat's power. The fact that he tried to do that to everyone else isn't helping matters.
• YHVH was seen with disappointment from Haze because of how he goes about his "order". To Haze, the preservation of such things should not have to come at such a cost. She's smart enough to avoid Him, but will stand in opposition of such an unjust order.
• Another enemy of hers is Sephiroth. This is because the way he killed Aerith reminds her too much of how Jin killed her in Temperantia. Further complicating issues is how she sees him as a dark mirror for Jin. Sephiroth doesn't mind stabbing her through the chest as long as Cloud is nearby.
• Haze has some mixed feelings for Reimu Hakurei. This is because Hakurei is a Mood-Swinger who can be devoted to good at times, but can be easily annoyed and on occasion has kicked a few dogs. Haze can't help but be reminded of Mythra, despite Hakurei dressing similarly to her.
• Spooky was able to get a scare out of Haze by making her Haunted House look normal until she was well inside. When it became obvious this wasn't a safe place to be in, Haze made a run for it, avoiding as many of the obstacles in her way and making the most out of her healing factor.
• Elsewhere, she stumbled upon the Hoshidan Royal Siblings, who were happy to give her a warm welcome. Due to her attire, Takumi had a surprisingly time accepting her, even considering Haze trustworthy. Ryoma was pleased to be with another healer who was also The Cutie. Sakura noticed the similarities between the two and was willing to show her around. As for Hinoka, Haze initially mistook her for Lora, but realized upon further inspection, they really don't look that similar.
• At first, Haze thought of Ardyn Izunia as a simple Faux Affably Evil villain who only cared about destruction like Malos. Eventually, it became known that he was once a great savior who got to redeem himself and defeat the real villain, Bahamut. Ever since that revelation, Haze has learned to feel more sympathy for Ardyn. She also gave an offer to Ignis for her to heal his eyesight, but he declined. To him, this was a reminder of how he should continue to grow stronger for Noctis' sake.
• Haze later stumbled upon Akeno Himejima, who while being a fellow Miko, is strangely lustful, complete with a more defined figure. Haze was caught off-guard by this, but realizes that Akeno isn't a bad person. In the same House, Issei Hyodo was quite accepting of her, in a chivalrous sort of way. Haze understands what he wants, but tells him her loyalty only extends to Lora.
  • In the House of Tainted Love, she meets his nemesis, Raynare. The Fallen Angel tells her that she can secure her safety if she decides to heal her wounds at any time, but Haze can tell how untrustworthy she is. Someone with that demeanor and general appearance and those black wings has no room for loyalty or honesty. Sure enough, Haze learns that she betrayed her leader, Azazel despite him being pretty good at his job.
• In regards to Rei Hino/Sailor Mars, Haze acknowledges how she has grown kinder over time and appreciates it. Rei does feel some shame over her abrasive nature beforehand and the two quickly became friends with each other.
• Vlad the Impaler is feared by many, and Haze is no exception. Since he often kills people for trivial reasons, no one wanted to take the gold cup he left on the streets. There's also the manner in which she was killed by Jin, even if it was an act of mercy, so she really wants to stay away form him. The fact that he's often depicted as a vampire isn't helping matters.
• While Ragna and Alice are also afraid of ghosts, their relationship with Haze is... unconventional. Ragna is a potty mouth even to people he likes and Alice, while pretty When She Smiles, is a Perpetual Frowner with an icy stare. She's willing to accept them as allies, but believes true friendship will take some time. Ragna appreciates this and hopes the two will meet again on better terms.

Rashid

• Among the Street Fighters from the the latest revealed sagas, Rashid is arguably the most popular. His acrobatic fighting style and bubbly attitude that defies his stereotype has won many fans. Unfortunately, his path to ascension was rough. Bison in particular was angered at his involvement in stopping the Black Moon plan from succeeding and sought to block his entry. Luckily, the good-aligned Street Fighters stood by his side and let him pass, returning the favor for him lending a hand during that situation…even if it initially meant getting in the way. (He has since apologized to Guile, Chun-Li, and Cammy, and is willing to cooperate with them.) Now he has a new domain to explore and make friends in.
  • Was a bit peeved that Juri made it into the Pantheon. Their first encounter went badly for him, a defeat he blames on not being used to fighting provocative women. Neither of the two is in a rush to meet a second time. Charlie Nash, on the other hand, is someone who Rashid could tell had good in him despite his gruff and uncaring demeanor. When a conversation between them was part of what jolted Nash back to his senses when it came to his trusted friends, Rashid would've been pleased…except that clarity came with a Heroic Sacrifice. Understandably, Rashid is overjoyed to see the level-headed (if still serious) Nash in the Pantheon.
  • There is one combatant he takes very seriously. When entering Dhalsim's temple, he bowed down in respect for the yoga master. This reaction definitely took Dhalsim by surprise, but was impressed with his behavior. He suspects that Rashid isn't as naive as people perceive him to be. As if to prove this, Rashid's domain would later expand over to Granblue Fantasy where he helped Gran and Lydia defeat some Shadaloo agents. There, he is considered to be a wind elemental capable of devastating tornadoes. He was astonished and honored to take part in the adventure.
• Despite the immense evil that Shadaloo has wrought in the world, Rashid does not hold that much hatred with its leader Bison. But that playfulness ends with one particular person. F.A.N.G may look insignificant to some, but the henchman can be cruel at times…including killing Rashid's friend. Both that and the fact that F.A.N.G waited until the climax of the Black Moon plan to not only casually tell the tale, but gloat about it to boot, sent Rashid into a murderous rage. Rashid had hoped that would be the end of him, but rumors persist of his survival as well as his debut in the Pantheon. For that arrival, Rashid will be there in waiting. Gets along well with Mustang, Hughes, Ryuko, and Satsuki in addition to Guile and Nash due to how similar this is to their own revenge quests. Also finds Envy the Jealous and Nui Harime deplorable for being killers who later confessed their crimes and then gloated about it.
  • When he heard of a toxin user in the Toxicity subhouse being a member of the Four Heavenly Kings, he prepared himself to confront F.A.N.G. Except the one he found was Coco, part of a different grand quartet who'd in fact become enemies with Shadaloo after he turned down Bison's offer to replace F.A.N.G in the Pantheon. To prove this true, Coco took Rashid to meet Toriko and his chef Komatsu. After sparring with Toriko and sharing in one of Komatsu's fine meals, Rashid is now a friend to the Four Gourmet Kings. Later, F.A.N.G finally did ascend to the Pantheon, and Rashid was ready for it. While he didn't kill F.A.N.G, his attack was so ferocious the poison master of Shadaloo became spooked for awhile. It's said that this is why F.A.N.G's moves through the Pantheon are quite discreet when he's alone.
• Rashid wondered why he couldn't be the God of Tornadoes. It just so happens that the position was taken and the wielder has no intention of letting go. Al'Akir is not impressed with the newcomer, especially since the usurper uses machinery to manipulate the winds. With that animosity, Rashid has shied away from competing with him, though a small subset of followers are hoping he could take up the throne. Another trademark of his offense is spinning, which is not exclusive to his tornadoes. He has so many Spin Attacks that he was considered for the role over Ayane. The ninja has taken note of the newcomer and has bolstered her ranks to defend her temple.
  • When Ayane's place in the Pantheon was moved to a consolidated temple with her sister Kasumi and Ryu Hayabusa, she finally figured it was time to go and meet the Turbulent Wind face to face. While he thought it would be a friendly encounter at first, she was all business, challenging him to a fight to test his abilities. What ensued was an impressive display of spin-to-spin combat, with a contentious amount of human-size tornadoes and purple exploding ninja throwing weapons surrounding his temple, most of which the two dodged. Ultimately, the fight ended when Rashid was able to catch Ayane in his Altair move… but she was able to land an explosive throwing star within the tornado under his feet while he was kicking her, which blew up on him right after she was botted out of the vortex and careening towards the ground. Recovering from the hits, the two agreed to call it right there, and Ayane acknowledged him as a good fighter, but not without stating that he still needs work.
• Gets along with Aang rather well. At first, Rashid wanted to take on an older brother relationship between the two, even though Aang is far more powerful and technically older than him. But realizing his nature as the Avatar, Rashid has come to respect the kid for going through all that hardship yet coming out on top. He hopes to learn new techniques with his tornado moves. He's also a pretty big fan of Viewtiful Joe, even going so far as to cosplay as Joe. The Henshin Hero of Movie Land was flattered when asked about it. He even found another Rashid in the House of Nature, namely a fire magician who had been host to both a sun god and a river goddess at differing points. He could tell that Zia was a caring yet guarded person, no doubt having suffered losses in her life, so he decided to start looking after her as sort of a big brother. This time Zia accepted it, though she still can be stubborn at times. He usually only refers to her by her first name.
• Is probably the most social media savvy of all the Street Fighters. He has taken great length to record as many matches between fighters as possible before posting them online. His accounts have amassed quite a following, even making contacts with several other fighters such as Crimson Viper. (Ironically, the CIA redhead Viper has the same real first name as a Thai policewoman Nash once worked with in investigating a Shadaloo operation.) He's also pretty tech savvy, even having developed a green data-scouting monocle comparable to those worn by Frieza and his minions. He gets rather defensive about the latter fact, though, as he thought that what he created was original.
• Thought he heard his loyal butler Azam in the house of profession. Turned out, that was Lee Everett. The two get along splendidly and Rashid has given Lee a comforting pat on the back after hearing the hell the man went through to save Clementine and was glad that Clementine was able to live Happily Ever After (albeit she lost a leg) and ascended into the Pantheon peacefully. Later, he found a fellow Street Fighter who also is accompanied by his butler whenever he goes fighting, and the two shared stories over tea. The gentleman boxer Dudley has struck an alliance with Rashid to help when the time comes to fight against Gill, due to the Illuminati leader taking his father's car back when he was younger.

• On the year 1274, the Mongols would invade Japan and ravage the provinces in a move to conquer most of Asia. When the Mongols invaded the island of Tsushima within the Nagasaki Prefecture, eighty samurai were sent in a suicidal desperate attack against the invaders. One of them was venerable samurai Jin Sakai, who fought valiantly in the beaches but was heavily injured and left for dead with his uncle Lord Shimura captured by the Mongols. Death was delayed however as he was rescued by a thief named Yuna, who nursed his wounds following the battle. A second attack by himself would entail in the Castle Kaneda and would go toe-to-toe against the warlord Khotun Khan who outmatched him in combat. After the two battles, the realization that his code of honour is not effective in the invasion nor would his own strength win him against the Mongols would take a toll in his ways and commits to scouring the island in search of allies and new tactics. Thus becoming the Ghost of Tsushima.
• Japan is most known for the art of the samurai, something that has become increasingly common in portrayals. Jin's case follows what happens when said "code of honour" becomes obsolete and is forced to use dirtier techniques in a desperate attempt to rid of an increasingly dangerous foe. Although he was an adept follower of his original teachings, when those teachings became a hindrance in later fights, one has to question if it even should be followed regardless of the times it has lead them to death in several occasions. In turn, this became the basis of Jin's abandonment of his code in favor of harsher ways to not only drive the Mongols away but to adapt outside of what he and many samurai were taught in the past.
• Many samurai have been strict to abide by their own standards, which makes Jin a sort of outcast to many of the Pantheon's resident samurai. When he was evaluated, the Court of the Gods have noticed his difference towards the usual samurai, even leaning to the point of being a half-samurai, half-ninja of sorts. The Council were agreed to bring him but were aware that the other samurai in the Pantheon would see him to be different. Witnessing him using the wind to guide him in his quest, they found a potential to bring him under the guidance of him using wind as a dramatic effect. The Council agreed and brought him under the premises, with his final location, in a run down house as his temple, fitting for the Ghost.
• With his newfound home within the Pantheons, Jin was not accustomed to the new plane of existence he ascended in. Seeing that the Pantheon is different from the green areas of Tsushima, he had trouble understanding most of the modern technologies other deities were using. More so would be his form of transportation, he would always be travelling via a horse to go to certain destinations. Others have asked if he could use some help but he has denied the offers, believing that he can handle things on his own. However that would not be the last time he would confused at something.
  • Relationships between him and other samurai are most especially mixed. Some did not appreciate that his ways of fighting has blurred the style between a samurai and a ninja and outright called him to be a travesty to the samurai code, which he expected to happen considering what his options were. Other times some would not speak to him knowing his reputation as the Ghost. But with all that aside, some samurai have seen Jin's accomplishments and while some called his to be dishonourable, others have warmed up to him due to his unwavering protection against the Mongols for the people of Tsushima.
  • First came the legendary Seven Samurai who came up to his temple moments after hearing of his confirmed ascension, as they too have been disgraced, yet willing to help the locals against bandits. It helps that Jin's reputation made the locals within Tsushima to fend off for themselves (as opposed to relying on the shogunate's forces) which allowed for some discussion between him and the group. During their talks, Kambei wanted to give him a place in the Seven Samurai though he refused to take the offer, believing that the role of the Ghost should be silent, something that another member in the group, Kyuzo, nodded after hearing that. Though he appreciates if they were allies instead, as it helps when he calls for assistance.
  • When the rumors of the Seven Samurai's accomplishment of talking to the Ghost reached into Pantheon ears, soon many other samurai wanted to hear his side of the story as well. First was Hanshiro Tsugumo, who much like him, was a former samurai, then turned into a ronin. Jin felt sympathy hearing the fate of Hanshiro's family and the plot that took place against his son-in-law, grandson and daughter suffered at the hands of the Ii clan. As they talked, the two noticed how their stories slowly broke away the samurai code and Jin's case showed how the code affected them against a far more advancing foe. This made them easy friends and relatable in a number of ways. Then came the other samurai, including Sanjuro Kuwabatake and Himura Kenshin, both of which are skilled ronins. Sanjuro asked how Jin came up with his other strategies, which included poisoning his enemies, only for him to stay silent after hearing that question as he was reminded how the idea was also exploited by the Mongols. He still consults with the Ronin with No Name in various ways to manipulate his foes without the use of brute force. As for Kenshin, both are similar when it comes to alignments and how they fight for good though the latter has his Hitokiri Battousai persona and Jin prefers to protect his people in chaotic ways. Still, it is for the people he fights for so he and Kenshin are fine.
• One aspect Jin could not wrap his head around was the concept of "foreign" and "samurai" mixed together. That was his response with two unorthodox samurai: William Adams and Nathan Algren. Considering that Jin has spent a portion of his life repelling any foreign advances within the island, it would make sense as to why he was confused seeing westerners adopt the Bushido Code. Hearing their stories lightened his suspicions as they are not invaders but rather, people who appreciate the same code, though a part of his cynicism still rages on whenever the code is mentioned. The two are also not hostile and have no intention of hurting the Japanese population so he does not have to draw swords against them. Algren however, thinks of him as not just mean-spirited in some occasions but rather, outdated thanks to the Meiji Restoration and abolishment of the samurai code altogether.
• Beyond the usual samurai, there has been discussion between him and Sunny for their pragmatic fighting styles and dedication to aiding strangers in need. This is also compounded by the fact that both were exiled from their homelands. The difference starts from how and why they were exiled with Sunny exiling himself with his family after seeing the brutality of his Baron and Jin's exile only starting after his duel with his uncle Lord Shimura, who was the shogunate at that time, when he did not honor his wish of being killed. The two have been keeping an eye on each other, seeing a potential relation brewing.
  • He then took a visit in the House of Slaughter after hearing the rumors of an old swordsman who is known as the Zatoichi, master of the blade even in the modern times. Seeing the legend himself, he was quick to give him the honor and Ichi himself, while blind, could sense Jin's presence. After a duel that nearly led to his decapitation, Zato-no-ichi closed his sword back and allowed time for the two of them to bond. The tales of the Ghost were indeed true and seeing that the two also do help innocents at their time of need, made great relations with each other. He was later seen with a gift from Ichi seen on his back.
• While he may not be interested in challenges, he has been told of a certain ronin that has interest in the chance of challenging him. At first, he merely shrugged it off and had no interest, until more messages were found and soon the ronin appeared right in front of him, revealing to be Heishiro Mitsurugi. Jin was not pleased with his surprise and while they did play fair in the first half, the rest went with the Ghost using firecrackers to distract him and even daggers to wound him, prompting him for a final blow. Heishiro was not pleased after the fight but that is Jin's fighting style: using every arsenal he has against his opponents with no mercy so it is to be expected.
• At one point, Jin was missing in his temple and was nowhere to be found. While a search party was being organized, news of certain Mongol guards being assassinated were spotted in the House of War, suggesting that he must be in there. This was proven to be true as Genghis Khan was found stabbed to death and the Ghost nearly escaping. Apprehended, he was questioned as to why he targeted him of all people and said that his death was for the Mongols that invaded his homeland. While Khotun Khan is most certainly not in the Pantheon, the closest he can target is the warlord of the Mongols that started the conquest in the first place. As for Genghis' response, he was generally impressed with him and would like to employ him in his guard, though as the same Khan said towards Jin later in his story, this was refused.
  • It turns out the Mongols are not the only invaders within Pantheon grounds. Yes, there are the usual space conquerors, but not the human-like conquerors like the aforementioned Genghis Khan. That all changed when Shan Yu's invasion began ravaging his temple. Furious, he set out on a vendetta that entailed the slow elimination of the Hun Army until it went into a one-versus-one against the leader. The two showed a remarkable showcase of both skill and intelligence as Shan Yu was able to handle the katana wounds as well as anticipate Jin's strikes while he used various tools to change his tactics. Despite his attempts, the Hun leader was eventually whittled of his strength and finally accepted his death at the hands of a samurai. Jin was later found arriving back to his temple, with the weapon of Shan Yu being brought as a war trophy.
