Villainy

Go To

Herein is the vile House of Villainy, rebuilt after eons past. The goals of these deities are destruction and the domination of all existence, seeking to impose their own order upon the multiverse. Although, it should be noted that not all the occupants of this House are totally evil. This house was founded when several of the heroes such as Superman and Spider-Man decided they wanted to resplit the House of Heroism and Villainy after the endless war had worn them all down for too long. While many of the Elder Gods were uneasy at the thought of another Hero/Villain house split after the first experiment, the case eventually went all the way to the Court of The Gods, where a very tired and irritated Johnson ordered the house to split up because "All that noise makes sleeping very difficult for the rest of us! I tolerate the House of Beasts and Fauna out of necessity but split the others up for now. Let them scheme in their own houses." Jean-Luc Picard facepalmed at this utterly arbitrary decision, but as Jack McCoy was leading the case, tired of having the lawless look over his notes, the decision passed with surprisingly little argument. The only dissenter was Harvey Dent, but after flipping a coin, he ultimately decided for it too, though it does create the awkward situation of him needed to drag himself between houses depending on his coin flip on who he was going to visit on-off time.

Melkor often resides here to plan with his horde on how they might take down the other houses before long. His temple which is mostly empty instead holds the central portal to the headquarters of the Grand United Alliance of Evil, which many villains use. Most of the resident villains admit that though keeping each other's company is difficult, this is something they'll need to deal with if they're ever going to crush those pathetic heroes under their boots.

Ever since the ascension of Crow, there has been a new wing to the house called the "Villain's Museum" for the purpose of celebrating all the victories that fellow villains achieved.

The only thing they have in common with the House of Heroism is their shared opposition of The Anti-Monitor.

  • In the land of Hyrule, there exists a prophecy for millennia that every time a great hero and his maiden would reveal themselves to be the land's most celebrated figure so shall come a great figure of evil who is destined by fate to clash against them to determine whether Hyrule is saved by good or dominated by tyranny and destruction. Ganondorf is that one figure of evil, a man defined by great ambition, power, and desire for domination, the perfect antithesis to the blessed virtues embodied by Link and Zelda, and as fate prescribes it, Ganon is fated to battle against the two, their enmity etched deeply in Hyrule's legend and lore. Ganondorf has made his mark in history as a figure who is willing to use every villainous deed in the book via manipulation, governing monsters, and claiming great power to be ahead of the game and prove himself as the most influential face of evil in Hyrule, made most apparent by his possession of the Triforce of Power that ensures his legendary infamy and always making sure that, even in defeat, his actions will leave behind consequences and a dark mark in Hyrule's history.
  • Ganondorf ascended into the Pantheon around the same time as Link and Zelda did, which accentuated the fact that the three are fated to encounter and confront each other as fate would allow it. For Ganondorf, the real shocking revelation came when he learned about Demise, his spiritual ancestor and the main scourge of Hyrule's evil far before the establishment of the land's main kingdom. To discover that his very nature was to embody a hateful, malevolent curse inflicted on Ganon caused him to cackle and laugh at the fact that regardless of how he came to be or how he started his tale and quest for power and conquest, Link and Zelda will always be enemies and he will always be a figure of great evil and infamy. He then concluded his thoughts — he may as well carry on with the curse and embody it to its fullest; undeterred by his actions and proud of his infamy, Ganondorf made a pact with the Grand United Alliance of Evil, becoming one of the organization's most revered and influential members and a staunch enemy to the great forces of good. While Hyrule remains his main seat for his intended domination, the Great King of Evil has every intention of proving the divine realms about how and why he has the reputation he's built up for so long and relishes the opportunity to affirm himself as such.
  • Befitting of his many dark epithets and reputation, Ganondorf is a warlord commanding a massive array of monsters and loyalists dedicated to preaching and expanding his corruptive influences. As for the figure himself, Ganondorf is an immensely powerful warrior known for his aptitude for dark magic, incredible might, and proficiency in bladed weapons like swords, naginata, tridents, and even the bow, all of which were further amplified by the Triforce of Power to make him a pseudo-deity capable of dominating and sundering anyone withing grasp. Ganondorf's greatest skill, however, is his guile and cunning; the man possesses a deceptive ability to manipulate and convince others to fall for his beliefs and plans, be it directly or indirectly, and further contribute to his plots. Of course, Ganondorf is his base human form, for his bestial form, Ganon, takes on the form of a giant humanoid boar which magnifies his great power at the expense of his intelligence and a bit of his sorcery.
  • Just like any evil overlord and warlord, Ganondorf determines worth almost entirely through strength and conquest. He is a proud, confident, and dedicated warlock who is wholly committed to his ambitions for great evil and to that end, and as someone born and raised in the harsh weathers and turmoil offered by the Gerudo Desert, Ganondorf expects great adversity upon himself and proudly seeks to overcome such by one day conquering the bountiful lands of the rest of Hyrule. Even then, the Gerudo's inherently dark nature blooms within him an arrogant perspective towards others and a preference towards brutal and unfettered tactics that Ganondorf would unhesitantly take to accomplish his goals, uncaring of the untold numbers of people he would have to kill to get it. Despite his great malevolence, he is capable of showmanship and expressing a level of respect towards others, though this is based mainly on martial prowess and it's a rare sentiment to come across. Just as this inspired his infamy in Hyrule's history, it did the same thing in the Pantheon, only with the addition that several great evils were able to make comparisons, favourable or not, which fed into the Evil King's ego and ambitions. This led Ganondorf to take into consideration his new alliance and to determine who could benefit as allies... or as pawns for his own ends.
  • Naturally, Ganondorf would be compelled to encounter Demise, his spiritual ancestors and the one who chose to embody Ganon as his curse to oppose and battle Link and Zelda with each incarnation. To Demise, Ganondorf was the ultimate product of his vengeance towards humankind and sees his descendant as a worthy successor to himself as the ultimate face of evil in Hyrule. To Ganondorf, Demise was someone who he decided to challenge to prove himself as the better leader as that was the purpose of being a successor. While they ended up being rivals instead of allies, Demise earnestly has no problem with his reincarnation wanting to prove himself the better conqueror, plus Ganondorf made a reasonable argument that lined up well with his own belief of leadership and domination. With their beliefs settled and affirmed, Ganondorf hopes to one day challenge the Demon King as an act of supremacy, which Demise openly accepts.
    • Ganondorf also proved charismatic and effective enough to win the loyalty and respect of many of Hyrule's other great evils, including Zant and Ghirahim, both of whom would serve as the King of Evil's lieutenants in one incarnation. Zant seeks Ganon's influence as a way to gain further power for himself and make another attempt at usurping the Twilight Realm whereas Ghirahim was delighted to see how much potential Ganon has in regards to bloodshed and violence. On Ganondorf's end, Zant and Ghirahim are useful alliances for their ferocity and individual powers but will acknowledge that the Twilight Usurper can be too ambitious for his own good, the Demon Lord needs to reign down his rampant vanity, and both are prone to losing their cool and give into deranged fits of carnage if things aren't going well for them.
    • While Ganondorf isn't the only huge threat that Hyrule has endured, he feels that the continent's other infamous figures are more difficult for him to properly command and influence. While Zant and Ghirahim are equally ambitious and bloodthirsty, they still owe Ganondorf to some extent and acknowledge that working with him was their best shot at their mutual goal of killing Hyrule's greatest hero and asserting dominance. But to someone else like Vaati and Yuga, Ganondorf instead found difficulty and a slight bit of opposition; Vaati wants Hyrule all to himself and chides Ganondorf for daring to destroy what he intends to conquer, a sentiment that the Gerudo warlord found preposterous and immature. Yuga's stint of wanting to control Ganon, on the other hand, was met with nothing but revulsion and dismay from the Evil King and with the clown sorcerer's renewed attempts to wanting to prove himself the better evil meant that the Gerudo warlock only saw him as an enemy. Majora was initially a strange enigma due to its nature as a sentient mask, but although they shared a mutual enemy in Link, Majora's childish antics and intent for destroying the world clashed heavily against Ganondorf's desire for conquest and stays wary of the mask, aware that Majora's corruptive nature is a credible threat to him as well if not careful. Similar sentiments were also shown to a mysterious entity known only as Null, a creature of an empty void, known for having existed even before Hyrule's creation. The fact that Null is able to create a seemingly perfect replica of Ganon intrigued and rattled the Evil King and he is preparing for the day Null makes its presence known in the Pantheon as Ganondorf believes it to be more a competitor or even an opposed than an ally.
  • When it came to the GUAE, Ganondorf was made one of the members of the Conqueror Brigade, a position which fitted him well and he wasted no time in establishing his legion of monsters and loyalists into the GUAE's growing list of infantry. There, Hyrule's greatest evil found new allies like Skeletor, whose tyranny and great power impressed Ganondorf, Dr. Wily and Dr. Eggman for showcasing destructive and subjugating technology that intrigued him, Quan Chi for his nature as a powerful warlock and the Netherrealm demon enjoying Ganon's presence and the likelihood of working together for dominance, and The Shredder for his ruthlessness and ability to inspire fear. The opportunities offered by these new alliances made Ganondorf more asserted about his place in the Pantheon and he seeks to familiarize himself further with many of these mongers and warlocks.
  • Ganondorf expected a lot of enemies in the Pantheon besides Link and Princess Zelda and he was right. This didn't deter him at all and, if anything, he was excited by the many new faces he had to fight against because it fed into Ganondorf's desire to assert superiority and domination. From the typical like Aragorn, Jon Snow, Alm, Celica, Tyrion, Teclis, and Artoria Pendragon to the weird and divine like Daniel Fortesque, Princesses Celestia and Luna, and Sigmar Heldenhammer, Ganon cited them as warriors who could and should challenge him in direct combat, lest he sees them as cowards who should be scrubbed off clean from the divine realms. Should they match him in strength, Ganon is quite respectful, if mainly in his own twisted way, and is aware most of his enemies aren't going to reciprocate, though time and again, he has proven himself to be poor in sportsmanship and is prone to flipping out and losing his composure in the face of genuine defeat and no rewards.
  • A self-proclaimed and proud "Evil King", Ganondorf inspires awe for lots of vile beings, fear and revulsion from nearly everyone else, and a competitor for most like him. It's not without reason that Ganondorf found comparisons to tyrants like Sauron, Malekith, and Arthas Menethil, all of whom commanded great armies and sought domination (or destruction in Arthas' case. Due to the range of their ambitions and their growing list of enemies, Ganon felt that an alliance with them is necessary, though all of them ended up being too prideful to truly work together, with Ganon deciding to instead accept a ceasefire to ensure they don't cripple each other too much. Sauron seems to be the most respectful towards Ganondorf as he acknowledges him as a capable warrior and strategist, though he makes it clear that he should keep out of Middle-earth. Still, Mordor's Dark Lord is willing to accept the King of Rvil's truce and sees his offering of troops as a transactional necessity. Malekith sees Ganondorf as a worthy opponent but makes it clear that his priority for the elves comes first and foremost and that Ganon's influence does not go in favour of the Witch-King's ambitions. With Arthas, he and Ganondorf are outright rivals as the Evil King finds his idea of annihilating all life to be going against his vision while the Lich King is simply uncaring of what his rivals have to think.
    • Two of Ganon's most notable alliances in the Pantheon turned out to be Maleficent and Jadis, diabolical witches who possessed great power and exerted their rule and influence through tyranny and dread. The two of them were happy to work alongside the Gerudo warlock as he complimented their strengths and influence and Ganondorf is no stranger to working alongside evil witches, as demonstrated by his adopted mothers, Koume and Kotake. On their end, Maleficent finds great intrigue in Ganon's potential for evil and dominance and aspires to learn much from him while Ganondorf is equally open to learning from the Mistress of Evil if it means expansionism and authority. With Jadis, Ganon is quite careful with her; he respects her ruthlessness and savagery, but he also knows that Jadis is a screw loose if left unchecked and Ganon wants to make sure the White Witch doesn't end up causing untold destruction or indulging in petty and vicious acts for the sake of it as it would not bode well for the effectiveness of their alliance. Even so, Jadis appreciates Ganondorf as a peer in tyranny, though she is willing to turn on him if she so much as speculates that the Gerudo has doubts about her.
    • If there was one tyrant who established a personal relationship with Ganondorf, it was Count Dracula, specifically the Lord of Castlevania, as the two made it pretty clear they were eternal villains defined by their enmity towards the descendants of a heroic lineage, the Count's case being the Belmont clan. As the two engaged in expanding their territory and influence, they began to clash as Dracula's control of monsters as well as creating vampires that swore their loyalty to him meant that Ganon's influence was at risk of being overshadowed. This culminated when Dracula took over a territory Ganondorf sought, forcing the King of Evil to pay a visit to the Vampire Lord in the latter's castle, prompting a vicious battle between the two. However, Dracula proved the superior monarch, even being able to withstand and expunge the Triforce of Power from Ganondorf's possession and, to make matters worse, the King of Evil was reduced to, in Dracula's words, a "pig" before he was skewered. Needless to say, Ganondorf really didn't take his defeat well to the point where he has now found difficulty in making alliances with monarchs and conquerors as powerful as he is. He vowed that he would have revenge against the Count and intended to kill the Belmont Clan as his way of flaunting his superiority. Dracula, on the other hand, cares little for Ganondorf's ambitions, though the Count respects his tenacity.
  • Although he doesn't admit it, Ganondorf does feel that the idea of being predestined to be evil bothers him to some degree. He has no issues with being malicious, but he does feel angry that he doesn't have much choice and agency, and this is one of the reasons why he chose to be a competitor to Demise. The whole revelation made Ganondorf quite caustic about prophecy because of this, but this doesn't deter him from having some respect towards characters like Archaon as he could relate to the Everchosen's dismay at having to become the Chaos Gods' top patron as well as being an overwhelmingly powerful warlord and Odio's tale of falling from hero to villain fascinates him as it tells how even the most revered and heroic could become the opposite. However, he has no respect for Angra Mainyu — Ganondorf cannot fathom the possibility of the ultimate evil being predestined to fail and be humiliated despite being born vile and makes it clear that his standards are based on personal virtues of strength, ambition, and foresight.
  • His connection with Demise made Ganondorf curious about the idea of someone being the source of evil, and two of them that immediately stood out were Melkor and Aku, who made it a point to spread their influence to corrupt and manipulate beings into their servitude as a way to assert their might. While the Evil King acknowledges their might and authority, he ended up having differing thoughts; while Melkor was extremely powerful, his mediocre track record regarding success caused Ganon to see him as unworthy of mutual respect and his goal of universal destruction only to recreate it under his own image. Aku was more respectable and Ganon found some common ground under how their greatest foes were time-displaced heroes (specifically the Hero of Time in Ganon's case), and it's here where the King of Evil figured that Aku could benefit as a partner in crime, a sentiment that the Shogun of Sorrow appreciated. Even so, Ganon and Aku are aware that one could backstab the other for more power, but have decided to set that aside, not wanting to give their foes an easier chance to strike, not helping is the fact that Jack is also enemies with Ganon for the latter's similarities with Aku.
  • A known trait that affirms Ganondorf's reputation as a devious mastermind is his tendency to Suddenly be the one pulling the strings behind the actions of another and to promptly take centre stage as the main threat should the opportunity arise. For most, this was his most dangerous trait, a fact that Ganondorf was proud of. Master Xehanort was the closest to sharing such a trait, with the old Keyblade Master expressing amusement over such. The two are rivals, but they have a level of respect for each other as warriors and manipulators, with Ganon admitting that the main reason why he clashes against Xehanort is that he sees a little bit of himself in the older-looking man, which Xehanort took as a compliment, even if they make it clear that none of them is allowed to poke their noses into each others' ambitions.
    • Speaking of which, Ganon is not above more shrewd manipulation tactics like tricking his adversaries or outright brainwashing to get what he wants. His raw power and devious intellect won him the favour of Khorne and Tzeentch, who vie against each other who could win the Evil King's favour first. On a personal note, Ganon struck an alliance with the sorcerer Gharnef over their shared similarities of using deception and craving great power, with the Evil King being willing to offer him resources for the ambitious traitor's goalnof taking over Archanea. His reputation also struck unease in Kain Highwind and Golbez as both have been victims of brainwashing and knowing that Ganon is just as dangerous and a.bitious as Zemus meant the two were quick to declare their opposition against the Gerudo warlock.
    • A rather infamous moment that showcased Ganondoprf's devious mind was an event that involved Yubaba, a portly witch known for stealing souls and using her great powers for mundanely selfish desires like money. As a showcase of dominance, Ganon offered Yubaba the offer of more power and souls... so long as the contract was signed under Ganon's name. Literally. While Yubaba was confident that Ganondorf would be under her services, she forgot that his transformation as a pig was very much a willing powerup and before she knew it, Ganon had already made sure that with his pig transformation, he could bypass the witch's power and hold and siphon her souls and resources. Needless to say, Yubaba was flabbergasted and dismayed by Ganon playing her like a fiddle and only realizing too late that the Gerudo warlock tricked her into giving him more power and dominance, the end result being that Yubaba was left dry without much of her earnings and souls. It also didn't help that Ganon mocked the witch for her overconfidence and believing that turning him into a pig would diminish him when Ganon could already bypass the issue. Since then, Yubaba tries to avoid confrontations with the Evil King out of a sense of embarrassment, which only ly prompted Ganondorf to label her as pathetic and a pale invitation to his surrogate mothers, Koume and Kotake.
  • Ganondorf is a Gerudo, a subset of humans where every member is female, save for one, who is scheduled to become the Gerudo's leader. Depending on incarnations, he was either a thief or a warlord, but his reputation as a feared warrior remained consistent. However, the Hall of Thieves simply disappointed him as he felt that neither of its residents had ambitions that matched his and only felt contempt for most of them, namely Aladdin for his humbleness and the Phantom Thieves of Hearts for not taking initiative to built their own vision of Japan given their powers. Predictably, they, in turn, see Ganondorf as a cruel tyrant who needs to be stopped, which only prompts his disappointment towards them even further. Regarding a women-exclusive society, Ganon expressed interest in Themyscira for such a reputation and inevitably clashed with Wonder Woman upon learning of the superhero's exploits and background as a resident of an all-female island. While Ganon compliments Diana for her skill as a warrior, she has no respect for the evil king and bluntly tells him that he is no king, only a tyrant out for bloodshed.
  • His monster form, Ganon, usually takes the form of a giant, humanoid boar with a demonic aesthetic. Naturally, it's not rare to consider him a malicious pig in one way or another, though Ganon has no issues with this. Despite the abundance of defied pigs and boars, Ganondorf has no interest in any of them; Babe and Hawk are basic pigs as far as Ganon is concerned and not worth his attention whereas Okkoto-nushi has potential thanks to his new demonic physiology, but disappoints the Gerudo simply because the deific boar isn't committed to evil. Napoleon is the closest that elicits any genuine interest and that's only because, with his farm background, Ganondorf sees him as the sort of figure Iago should have been; merciless, unforgiving, and unfailingly brutal, yet the evil pig's cowardice is what amounts to more disappointment on Ganon's part. That said, Ganon doesn't mind the pig/boar symbolism he has... so long as it isn't used as an insult, clearly not wanting to be reminded of his loss against Dracula.

  • Judge Holden is a man of mystery, with only the vaguest of details known to those who have personally known him. What is known about him is that he was an outlaw and professional scalphunter who was aligned with fellow outlaw John Joel Glanton and simply showed up one day to accuse a reverend of pedophilia, prompting a massive outrage and riot that he took great joy in initiating and witnessing. The aftermath led him to become acquainted with a fledgling outlaw known only as "The Kid". As the top lieutenant of Glanton's gang, he and his superior led their band of outlaws, including The Kid, to traverse around the American Midwest, invading, attacking, torturing, maiming, raping, scalping, and killing whoever they approached. As The Kid becomes disillusioned and attempts to part ways, The Judge gleefully deems him someone to hunt. As members of Glanton's gang die off, The Judge remains steadfast in his occupation and beliefs, eventually outliving them and confronting The Kid in a bar a few decades later. The last sighting of the Judge saw him dancing and musing how he is an eternal force who will never sleep and never die...
  • He ascended to the Pantheon... and that's all there is to know about how The Judge found his way into the divine realms. This, if anything, confirms that there must be something alien or supernatural about the figure. There are some disputed claims on his first sightings in the Pantheon, with one claiming that he was seen drinking in a bar, musing about his personal philosophy, whereas another eyewitness documented him committing a plunder that involved torture, bloodshed and murder by the dozens. It also didn't help that The Judge was capable of both in equal measure, and hasn't said what his intentions were in the Pantheon. The Judge simply claimed that he wanted to see just how much humanity and those with "similar intelligence" are willing to sink to their lowest instincts and find glory towards war and death. Ali Al-Saachez, who was previously assigned the title of For the Evulz, stepped down and took a new position as Cobra Commander's high priest.
  • Judge Holden is a paradoxical, seemingly inhuman figure. On one hand, his appearance is unlike that of any man — a tall, corpulent person standing at 7 feet in height with not a strand of hair anywhere in his body, skin as white as ash and a deranged, unnerving smile that comes off naturally for him. On the other hand, the Judge is a figurative abomination — there is no act of crime and evil that he is willing to skip solely because he enjoys it. Murder, rape, torture, extortion, manipulation, enslavement, exerting unlawful control and power, allowing discrimination... the Judge has seen, enabled, and committed all of them to varying extents. However, underneath this genuine enjoyment of depravity lies a deeper belief in the commitment of his actions, for the Judge is an inherent believer that humanity is destined to act on its lowest and most primitive basis, that mankind is guided by fate and that the ultimate deliverance is war. The Judge is also a being of many talents, skilled in hunting, fighting, and possessing seemingly superhuman strength, as well as having near-impossible knowledge in several subjects like archaeology, paleontology, biological and chemical sciences, geology, and history, and is a good drawer, on top of being a seemingly qualified judge with esteemed knowledge in law. This, if anything, raises questions about whether Judge Holden is even human to begin with.
  • As a man who made his presence known in the American Frontier and showcasing just how barbaric and fearmongering outlaws were willing to be, it came as no surprise that the Judge found kinship towards Micah Bell. The two quickly took note of how they shared a hopelessly bleak outlook on life and used that as justification to revel in the worst of violence. Incidentally, the Judge gained enemies in the Van Der Linde Gang, with Dutch being rattled at how his actions were comparable to those of Colm O'Driscoll and his namesake gang, with John and Jack Marston and Arthur Morgan sharing similar sentiments — they are aware of their sins, but the Judge goes far overboard with his acts. Even seasoned and vengeful outlaws and gunslingers like The Man with No Name, Jill McBain, and Roland Deschain show wariness when it comes to the Judge. On his end, the Judge outright entertains the possibility of meeting them, if only to enforce his beliefs onto them before delivering death or worse.
  • He is upfront about his depravity and believes that humans indulging and prioritizing their worst impulses is an inevitability. As a result, he finds fascination towards those like Viktor Adler, Dio Brando, and Vandal Savage as he sees them as the pinnacle of human evil. The fact that Adler and Dio willingly turned themselves into something not human was proof for Holden that evil is an inherent and dominant essence. Vandal, being an ancient figure spanning five millennia in age and committing every possible act of malice, furthered the Judge's perspective. On his end, his uncanny knowledge, limitless cruelty, and dark philosophy intrigued Adler, Dio, and Savage and see him as a capable ally to have, with Dio and Savage even enjoying an occasional conversation about human flaws, fatalism and the different interpretations of evil, with them even believing that the Judge is capable of a much bigger scale of evil with the newfound about of influence and resources he is able to access in the Pantheon.
  • The Judge is a straw nihilist and uses that as his reason for embracing depravity and carnage. It's what got him acquainted with Joker and Cletus Kasady, with the Judge dismissing their fierce rivalry towards each other and opting to just appeal to their taste for malice. Holden respects Joker's desire for theatrics and inflicting personal cruelty, whilst also admiring Kasady's "colourful tastes for deliverance", but nothing caught his intrigue more than how the three believed in the futility of life. To them, only slaughter and destruction, the ruination of life, is what brings them joy and humour. The Judge also believes that life is predestined and combines his nihilism and sadistic tendencies to believe that everything exists for him to interact with and eventually tarnish. With his familiarity with Joker, the Judge would eventually learn about The Batman Who Laughs, a being whose very existence drives the thought that certain actions and events will dictate one to embrace destruction. The Judge came to find He Who Laughs' beliefs relatable and intriguing, but prefers the Clown Prince of Crime as a peer, as being the original and a byproduct of human evil from his perspective, Joker embodies among the closest towards the Judge's ideals. Related to the belief of meaninglessness is a drive for hatred, which Holden enjoyed as such an emotion perpetuated what he desired, leading to his admiration for the monster, Yapool.
  • The existence of the House of Military and Warfare was both a sign of jubilation and vindication for the Judge, as well as confirming his thoughts about war being eternal and inevitable. His mentality impressed Apollyon enough that she sees him as a worthy peer and neither cares how much blood and agony is spilt so long as it simply does, granting the Judge a sign of approval from Khorne. The Judge was quite enthusiastic about hearing war being a profitable act and took interest towards Sundowner for being a prime representative of such, with the war criminal also expressing delight in finding someone who was willing to be a business partner and reveled in war — Holden would also find alliances with Anton Arcane and Issac Wescott, whose personal operations involved toying and tormenting people's lives for the sake of sadistic curiosity and it helped that Anton and Wescott are savvy and intellectual enough to engage in some long-form conversations that the Judge would indulge himself in. That said, he was initially surprised to find opposition from Kratos as Holden felt a god of war shouldn't be burdened by slaughter. He was more surprised to learn that the Ghost of Sparta is taking strides to become a beacon of hope, causing the Judge to experience a rare bout of irritation. Kratos, on his end, quickly saw the Judge as being no better than the likes of Ares and Odin — destroyers only interested in their own benefits.
  • The concept of the obliteration of life, thought impossible by the standards of his time, almost immediately elated the Judge upon learning that such a desire is possible thanks to the presence of many who attempted and even exceeded in such. But even with that aside, the Judge still saw himself as a destroyer of life in a physical, ideological, and emotional perspective, and views butchers like Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, and Yuuki Terumi as examples he could personally associate himself with. He finds their determination, ability to inspire fear and hatred, and their level of destruction and blood spilt to be commendable, but coldly laments their seeming inability to be more thoughtful about their actions and beliefs, though Terumi's true form as Susanno earns some additional respect in being dominant and focused on annihilation. On their end, Myers is generally ambivalent, whereas Freddy and Terumi are interested in someone who is as depraved as they are, yet seeks to learn from them as well.
  • Few can match the depravity and impact Holden was capable of unleashing, with the Allied Mastercomputer being one of them. The Judge had already expressed intrigue towards the advancement of technology, and AM, being built for the purpose of warfare and destruction, made Holden very excited, until he discovered that AM was, despite glee and Sadism, a rather miserable mind who laments not being able to commit to any act or purpose besides what he was built to do. As a result, the Judge has a complicated view towards AM; he admires the malignant AI for what it can do, but being restrained by inherent orders and an immense disdain towards humanity that it cannot grow out of made AM rather pitiable. Naturally, AM is unable to return Holden's sentiment, though the latter doesn't mind it too much and takes the AI's reaction as yet another display of humanity's inherent darkness.
  • The Judge is often considered devilish and fantastical enough that he is seen as a force or embodiment of evil. For what it's worth, Holden claimed that "he will never die" and personally sees the term "devil" as subjective as well as somewhat of a misnomer, feeling that there are several deific figures in the Pantheon who could be called such, himself included. Taking note of the "omnipotent bastions", he finds interest towards Melkor, Darkseid, and Molag Bal as the three are often credited as the most active of great evils in the Pantheon. On their end, Melkor admired him for his penchant for carnage, Darkseid championed his actions as reflective of humans doing anything to ensure their own victory, and Molag Bal upheld him as an "advocate for depravity" for all the actions the Judge committed during the 19th-century United States.
  • As an advocate for evil, the Judge has met with Damien Thorne on some occasions, and the two have formed a working relationship, if mainly because the Judge is impressed by Damien's ability to present himself as a respectable businessman and carry out his actions as the devil's greatest acolyte at the same time. Damien praised Holden for his apparently superhuman knowledge and sees him as a "devil's scholar" in that Damien desires to learn more from the Judge. A similar sentiment was also expressed towards Emperor Palpatine, who acknowledged Holden as a peer of darkness and destruction and respected him as a rival. On the other hand, the Judge was despised by Zamasu for being an evil mortal, a sentiment that Holden spat back as pitiful, all too aware that the fallen Kai was the same as any "devil" he's known, only too stupid to know the difference. He also mockingly thanks Zamasu as proof that even races as "enlightened" and "grandiose" as angels and Kais as susceptible to vice and sin, as well as knowing full well how his critiques would further infuriate Zamasu.
  • If his seemingly occupation as a judge is of any indication, he has knowledge towards law and order that would be considered ahead of his time. He is aware that he is despised by the majority of the House of Law and Justice, but he takes the response as mild amusement and doubles down on his depravity to affirm his philosophy. The concept of something like tainted law just makes the Judge more elated, as does the idea of corrupt officials, be it law enforcement officials, attorneys and prosecutors, judges, and any form of bureaucracy. He gets along best with Judge Death as Holden was able to appeal to the former's nature of finding life to be a crime, while Judge Death was fascinated in Holden's brutal philosophy, and the two have an occasional conversation about slaughter and philosophy.
  • The Judge's greatest challenge came not from someone more powerful than him, but rather from those who embodied the complete opposite of what the Judge advocates, namely, hope, love, peace, and optimism. And given how prevalent these beliefs are, it marked the first time the Judge felt threatened to some extent. Whether he could "never die" is not something he is concerned about, but the idea of seeing his ideology challenged to greater success upsets him, as the Judge feels it would make him obsolete and meaningless. For this, the Judge has come to oppose those like Superman and Madoka Kaname — he sees their ability to inspire such feelings as an attack towards him and realizes he would have to work with greater forces to combat them. This feeling of unease also extends to anyone who embodies good feelings in the Hall of Joy and Happiness as well as any believers of optimism in the House of Philosophy — the Judge intends to enforce his beliefs by hunting down those "embodiments" like Pollyanna Whittier, Wander, and Makoto Naegi, not afraid to express and deliver the cruelest deaths possible towards them and their loved ones. His psychotic glee at the prospect earned him support from fellow killers and destroyers, and the Judge is all too eager to demonstrate a deliverance of pain and despair where he could.
"It makes no difference what men think of war, War endures. As well ask men what they think of stone. War was always here. Before man was, war waited for him. The ultimate trade awaiting its ultimate practitioner. That is the way it was and will be. That way and not some other way."

  • When it comes to protecting the planet's environments for the betterment of both nature and mankind from ruination, there's always a bad bunch that stubbornly gets in the way of helping the environment. The Eco-Villains in particular are proud of it, always up to no good when it comes to the wildlife and well-being of the planet. Whether it's creating more pollution, threatening the destruction of precious biomes and lands, or other shady business deals, they are concerned with nothing but their own greed and ambitions, if they're not doing it all just because they can. Without anyone else to oppose their business, the Planeteers as guardians of the planet are always on the lookout for their schemes to minimize their damage to Gaia's world. Even with all the resources they have, the Eco-Villains find their fun stopped by these heroic adolescents, but then again, having the powerful Captain Planet on their side is a significant game-changer that keeps turning the tide against these dirty dealers. Regardless, these folks just can't bear to compromise their own gains for the sake of the environment, continuing their feud against nature itself.
  • The Eco-Villains saw the Pantheon as another new place to spread their polluting work into, with Looten Plunder among the first to try and make a mark on the Pantheon, but the Planeteers and Captain Planet himself had been there as well to ensure that no surge of pollution would go under their watch. With the House of Nature among other deities associated with the environment hot on their tail, the initial attempts to wreak havoc were stomped down upon. Inevitably, Looten Plunder went on to bring in the rest of the Eco-Villains with the purpose of getting payback against the Planeteers and spreading their ambitions across the Pantheon, even getting the likes of Zarm involved. With their reputation for blatant and malicious ecocide in their schemes, they easily defied themselves as the representatives of wicked nature-destroying polluters, threatening the environment with every maniacal plot they thought up and every physical plot of land they sought to take for themselves. With their polluting powers united, they intend to turn the Pantheon into their own playground for the sickening works of toxic, nature-wrecking pollution.
  • Amid the Eco-Villains' attempts to gather together for the sake of properly opposing the Planeteers, they noticed one major and bothersome exclusion. One of the major Eco-Villains, Sly Sludge, and the representation of environmental harm caused by ignorance, negligence, and wastefulness (in many senses of the word), was nowhere to be found when the Eco-Villains made their way into the Pantheon. Unlike the other Eco-Villains, Sly Sludge, while causing problems with his sludge-filled waste disposal businesses, was lacking in malice, and mainly polluted due to being short-sighted and lazy in his methods of waste disposal. As such, his opposition to the Planeteers was all out of ignorance and not bothering with finding better solutions. This all came to a head when the Planeteers ended up educating Sly Sludge on better ways to make money through legit and eco-friendly business, and once Sly Sludge was enlightened on recycling and more ethical forms of waste disposal, the man was an Eco-Villain no longer. Like slime and smog, his new direction towards an eco-friendly future stuck, and the Eco-Villains were sorely disappointed that Sly was no longer willing to collaborate with them. Considering that he was once the wielder of the ring of Smog, this complicated some of their means of facing off against the Planeteers, but they did eventually figure things out despite losing a valuable member.
  • The Eco-Villains plotted to use the Rings of Destruction for the purpose of unleashing Captain Pollution onto the Pantheon, but with Sly Sludge no longer being on their side, they decided to collaborate with similarly despicable villains who were both capable of using such rings for themselves and with enough distaste and antipathy for the environment to have the power of the combined rings manifest into Captain Pollution. After much deliberating and negotiating with suitable candidates for the Rings of Destruction, the Eco-Villains decided to introduce Captain Pollution through a plot to wreck and devastate the House of Nature, beginning their plans already. All at once, the Eco-Villains were causing trouble with their usual schemes at other locations in the Pantheon, which split up the Planeteers as they tried to handle all of them simultaneously. While the Planeteers managed to take each one down with some help from their allies, Gaia felt dread as a group of villains approached the Hall of Nature Preservers, and as the Eco-Villains' initial set-ups were taken down, they all announced the start of their actual advances against nature, and the domains within the House of Nature echoed with the phrase: "Let our polluting powers combine!"
    Derek Powers: Super radiation!
Dr. Fetus (via a computerized voice on his machine): Deforestation!
    Hexxus: Smmmmog!
    Mr. Burns: Toxics!
    Dr. Weil: HATE!
Captain Pollution: By your polluting powers combined, I am... Captain Pollution!
    • Despite being far away from the action, the Planeteers were able to hear "GO POLLUTION!" and realized too late that Captain Pollution had risen once again, and with the affinity of the new wielders of the Rings of Destruction, more powerful than ever, first demonstrating such by overwhelming the Hall of Nature Preservers with his powers, and also absorbing the pollution created by the machines the villains had prepared in wait to grow even stronger. As Captain Pollution began to wreak havoc within the House of Nature, the Planeeters managed to get together and summon Captain Planet, but even Captain Planet would find himself in an uphill battle against the empowered Captain Pollution. It took not only the Mediators of Nature working together to hold back against Captain Pollution, but various other gods of nature and the recovering deities from the Hall of Nature Preservers to get in and also deal with the new wielders of the Rings of Destruction, also joining in, attempting to destroy the Planeteers themselves. But as environment-protecting deities and other deities of the House of Nature united, Captain Pollution would eventually be taken down by Captain Planet gaining an equal footing through the unity of the deities protecting the House of Nature, and eventually vanquished Captain Pollution, though it wouldn't be the last time Captain Pollution would manifest in the Pantheon. Zarm, watching the spectacle from afar, was surprised to find himself legitimately impressed by Captain Pollution and the alternative wielders of the Rings of Destruction, snarking that the Eco-Villains themselves had a lot to learn from them. As for said wielders themselves, while they were disappointed in their defeat, they found the potential of the Rings of Destruction as worth the hassle, and freely keep them for their own advantage.
    • For wielding the Deforestation Ring, Dr. Fetus was chosen due to his destructive and bloody rampages through the ecosystems, cutting down not only swathes of trees but also unfortunate animals in his way. With all of his factories and industries, Dr. Fetus found the deforestation abilities of the ring as suitable for him, using it to continue his hobbies of cutting down forests and building new death traps for Meat Boy. While Looten Plunder had other ideas for representatives of Deforestation, he had to admit that Dr. Fetus was dedicated to his work and in harvesting the fruits of the lands to his liking.
    • Duke Nukem ended up giving the Super Radiation Ring to Derek Powers, who had many practical reasons to take the ring, not only to both enhance his powers, but to also have control over his radiation powers when he doesn't want to burn off his artificial skin with his own abilities. Blight also thinks that the ring is frankly wasted on the dumb Nuclear Mutant that is Duke Nukem, and thinks that the ring is better off in his hands. That said, Duke Nukem does relate to Blight given that they're both stuck with their status as radioactive people, and finds his work and his capability of destruction as impressive enough that he doesn't mind letting Blight use the ring to his liking.
    • The Ring of Toxics ended up going to Mr. Burns, being well liked due to his ruthless and eco-unfriendly corporation, and his success as a Corrupt Corporate Executive, getting along well with all of them. Though he owns a nuclear power plant of his own, he found the appeal of the Toxics Ring as more appealing to his interest of finding new ways to torture employees who fail him, and on occasion Homer Simpson. He also found Verminous Skumm's drugs and other chemical creations to be amusing and even fun, also finding Verminous Skumm's rat army to be pretty cool. While Skumm doesn't like humans all that much, somehow he feels that with all the malice and inhumanity within Mr. Burns, that the executive may not quite be human, and has mutual approval of Mr. Burns' evil plots. That said, to this day, Mr. Burns thinks that Skumm is eternally wearing a very convincing rat costume.
    • The vacant Smog Ring couldn't have gone to a more fitting villain, with Hexxus, a Spirit of Destruction who loves pollution, directly vouching for himself as the only worthy wielder of the ring. Finding the Eco-Villains' work to be delightful, Hexxus easily made allies out of all the Eco-Villains, and Hexxus ensuring them that with the Smog Ring in his hands, worrying about Sly Sludge's departure would be a thing of the past. Once Hexxus proved to be capable of actually being able to wield the ring despite being made of smoke, oil, sludge, and other forms of pollution, the Eco-Villains were satisfied to have such a powerful spirit of pollution on their side. Being the god of pollution in the Pantheon, Hexxus out of all the substitute wielders works directly with the Eco-Villains the most in their efforts to turn the Pantheon into a Polluted Wasteland.
    • It took a long time for Dr. Blight to choose a potential wielder of the Hate Ring, wanting someone who passionately hated the planet and nature as much as she. Not even Dr. Fetus was considered worthy of it in her opinion, and Dr. Blight was very picky for choosing a representative of Hate. While looking over members of the GUAD, the other Eco-Villains were discussing another villain they were afraid of: Dr. Weil. They had discussed how vicious he would be to work with, and while they liked how he turned much of the world into a wasteland, his reputation as a horrible tyrant who brought cruelty to machines and humans alike, wiping the majority of both groups out, with a wicked hatred for just about all of life itself. For Dr. Blight though, all of this dreadful talk on Dr. Weil sounded lovely to her. Once she learned that he was a truly brilliant and vile scientist whose hatred could match or even surpass her hatred, Blight promptly decided that Weil was worthy of the Hate Ring. Given that most of her comrades were too afraid to do so, she personally visited Dr. Weil herself, to work out an alliance between Weil and herself in the means of ravaging the world and the Pantheon with their science, finding Weil's work to be delightful to her eyes, and while Dr. Weil would normally deem himself as above the likes of the Eco-Villains, he found Dr. Blight's willingness to set aside not just nature but humanity and life itself in the pursuit of her ambitions, Weil decided she would be a worthy ally in particular, taking the Hate Ring for himself. That said, Weil is frankly weirded out by her flirtations with her computer assistant MAL.
  • Commerce-wise, people like Looten Plunder who normally have a decent foothold in their world's industries are struggling in the Pantheon's House of Commerce due to a lack of reputation as a result of their blatant disdain for nature. That said, there are some unscrupulous businesses who don't really mind how eco-unfriendly they are, usually due to being just as worse themselves. The Glukkons, who have already turned most of their world into a bleak realm of pollution and decay as a result of their industrialization, find the Eco-Villains to be decent partners to work with, and even let them hire Sligs to work for them. Of course, Abe the Mudokon frankly wasn't happy at the development, and sneaks into the Eco-Villains' place to torment them, usually by using mind control on one of them and creating chaos amongst themselves. He does have to stay away from Zarm though, given that as a spirit himself, he's immune to such control. And while Morris is also known for caring less about the welfare of nature, he doesn't want to publicly involve himself with the Eco-Villains for pragmatic reasons, and insists on Joja Corp being a rival business to them, though he definitely isn't much better than them. The same applies to Buy-N-Large, whose members are smart enough to avoid working with the Eco-Villains despite being no better than them. The Eco-Villains also hire the business-themed Cogs as robotic labor to work for them, since with the increased prevalence of environmental awareness, finding human laborers to employ is pretty difficult for them in the Pantheon otherwise.
  • When it comes to masters of ecocide that have been overall more successful at their work than the Eco-Villains, they unsurprisingly got along with certain incarnations of Robotnik, like his SatAM adaptation who successfully conquered most of his planet and even began turning people into robots, all while reducing nature to a mere sliver of its original beauty with all of his nasty pollluting factories. For his success at making it big, the Eco-Villains tend to respect Robotnik at his most vile and oppressive acts against nature, and of course, this also meant that the Eco-Villains themselves would be despised by Sonic and all of his allies, given that Sonic himself stands up for the oppressed animals who are victimized by Eggman and his machines, and sees the Eco-Villains as more wicked threats in need of a great humbling. Chairman Drek's work in looting and devastating entire planets for his own benefit, while faking the pretense of doing so for his own planet, impressed the Eco-Villains by the sheer scale of his work, and regularly cooperate with him, though this is also due to wanting to reap from the benefits of his operations out of pure selfishness.
  • The Eco-Villains have plenty of synergy with those who directly benefit from the spread of pollution, but none more so than Viktor Adler, a wicked scientist who became the leader of the Org demons, who thrive from not just pollution but negative emotions as well, and given the association of Hate when it comes to the Eco-Villains, Adler works alongside the Eco-Villains since their success always benefits him and his own ambitions. Of course, this only earned the ire of one of Adler's main enemies, Taylor Earhardt, and the other Power Rangers. Additionally, Hedorah, another monster made from pollution itself, always sees the industrialized factories of the Eco-Villains as food sources to grow off of. However, Hedorah isn't familiar to the idea of cooperation and always acts as a nuisance to the Eco-Villains, though otherwise they find Hedorah interesting and even root for it when it engages battle with the likes of Godzilla, with Duke Nukem anticipating the nuclear fallout from the battle to feed off of.
  • Unsurprisingly, the Eco-Villains are hated by pretty much anyone who makes themselves known as an Eco-Terrorist, especially Poison Ivy who has plenty of ideas on how to make them suffer as much as possible to make an example out of them. Pretty much any god with relations to the Nature Uprising, those who advocate for the prospering of nature, are sworn enemies of the Eco-Villains by default. The members of Gaea's Avengers in particular, being full of highly ambitious deities that are more than willing to eliminate any threat to the balance of nature without any mercy, always target the Eco-Villains when they're nearby. While other gods typically don't mind the Eco-Villains being attacked by such deities, since their usually Disproportionate Retribution is usually reasonable in this case, they do have to watch for collateral damage that results from these clashes. Another faction that the Nature Uprising butts heads with, the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, is surprisingly a complicated topic among the Eco-Villains. A good amount of them may like destroying nature, but they still want to exist themselves, and don't want to be part of the death statistics. That said, Verminous Skumm hopes that they go for humans first, and Dr. Blight actually finds them interesting to work with, and even considered having The Lich of all people have the Super Radiation Ring, though it was rejected by the majority.
  • Under the sea, their pollution is still just as harmful to underwater life as with the ecosystems on land, so deities would reside there oppose them by default and undersea rulers like Aquaman or King Triton will strike them down on sight. Additionally, the Octonauts have their work cut out for them when the Eco-Villains do their business on the open seas, usually leaving many animals in peril as a result of their pollutiion for them to rescue. Ika Musume, who also attempted to invade Earth to oppose humanity's pollution of the oceans, appropriately despises the Eco-Villains, but in a rare moment of brilliance, decided to bring someone else to deal with the Eco-Villains in person. Let's just say Looten Plunder and his allies, relaxing in a yacht while his cohorts were trying to poach some marine life were quickly dismayed when faced with a giant, mutant, and extremely furious octopus, the mighty Octogeddon unleashing his wrath upon them for their offenses upon sea-life (but mainly towards octopi, his main Berserk Button), wrecking their constructs and leaving them at the mercy of the other sea creatures with their own bones to pick with the polluters.
  • For Hoggish Greedly:
    • Hoggish Greedly is a suitable name for an Eco-Villain who is not only pig-like in appearance, but also has the greed to match with his love of excessive consumption and using his money to get into pollution-creating industries with little regard for the damage he causes in the process with his technologies and gadgets. He may not sweat like a pig (that is, he actually sweats a lot, especially when Captain Planet has him on the ropes), but he certainly eats like one, which leaves little speculation on his great girth. He tends to have beef with Wario due to not only having similar greed and gluttony to him, but also owning a corporation of his own, which not only has more success than Greedly's activities, but without much of the pollution that Greedly is known for. He also gets compared to the similarly greedy Piglins that are obsessed with gold. He thought that he could go to work on the Nether and make them learn to respect him, but their violent retaliations ended up scaring him off.
    • He also has a grandfather, Don Porkaloin, who used to be a similarly unscrupulous businessman, but eventually became an environmentalist sometime after being stopped by his era's Planeteers. More interestingly, his own son, Hoggish Greedly Junior, also became an honorary Planeteer to his decision to turn to an eco-friendly lifestyle after getting involved in one of his father's plots that almost killed Junior due to choking from the air pollution, leading to Greedly begging the Planeteers to eliminate the pollution to save his son. As nasty as Greedly can be, he still loves his son, though not enough to turn him away from his own eco-unfriendly work. That said, he still made Junior a Herald, even if he sides with the Planeteers, which has led to the other Eco-Villains keeping an eye on him to make sure he doesn't follow Sly Sludge's path.
  • For Looten Plunder:
    • Looten Plunder represents the worst of those who prioritize economic and materialistic gains over morals and the environment, and his destructive harvesting of the environment speaks for itself in how callous he can be. Due to representing some of the uglier sides of capitalism, he naturally invites resentment from those who don't attach themselves to materialist desires and even more from those who are connected with nature. Businessmen that seek to uphold a moral standard and a good image like Scrooge McDuck are opposed to the example that Looten Plunder represents, and Plunder naturally gets along with more ruthless and corrupt businessmen like Mr. Burns and Flintheart Glomgold. He also is a staunch believer in using both his money and connections to get away with immoral deeds and broken laws, but despite Seto Kaiba holding that trope himself, he doesn't want any association with the Eco-Villains and considers Looten Plunder and the other Eco-Villains as rivals.
    • Looten Plunder was the first Eco-Villain to ascend into the Pantheon, when he was named CEO of Corporate Corruption, replacing Lex Luthor after the latter took a new position. However, he was demoted sometime later, only to return with the other Eco-Villains. As for where the his former title ended up? Noah Cross grabbed it after a long, drawn-out trial over his dam construction and the suffering that ensued as a result. Naturally, Looten Plunder doesn't regard Noah's use of his daughter and granddaughter as a deal breaker considering how many lives he ruined in the name of profit and that Noah regards Looten Plunder as a fine businessman. As far as Punder's concerned, he couldn't have picked a more worthy successor, which naturally has made more people want his head on a pike as a result.
    • The Eco-Villains are banned from the Houses of Beasts and Fauna and Nature by default due to many of them being a danger to wildlife, but especially Looten Plunder due to going as far as to try to poach such animals if left unchecked. It doesn't stop him from continuing to be involved in the trades regarding endangered animals and their parts, and sometimes sending poachers to do the dirty work. When they really want things done, they're either contracting the dirty work to the Glukkons' Slig forces or Pokemon Hunter J to get what they want. One of the Eco-Villains' clients happens to be Cruella De Vil, who enjoys making fashion out of animal pelts and parts, and appreciates that some of the Eco-Villains like Plunder and Dr. Blight have similar tastes in both fashion and disdain for animals. There have been notable cases of animals outside the House of Beasts and Fauna who have been opposed to the Eco-Villains' work and put in the work to sabotage their operations. The Tanukis as well as the Hedgies who care about the natural environments obviously had no nice sentiments for any of the Eco-Villains, especially given their open malice, and do what they can to hinder their work as much as possible. Plunder also receives enmity from the Folktails and Iron Teeth who may be cutting down forests to support themselves, but fail to understand why Looten Plunder does so to a reckless and selfish degree.
    • Due to Looten Plunder's association with deforestation, he's seen as highly detestable by just about anyone who either loves or lives in said forests by default. Totoro, a forest spirit, and Treebeard, a living tree himself, are among many who oppose Looten Plunder's mass logging and harvesting activities, as is pretty much anyone in the Hall of Trees and Flowers. When he sought out other potential representatives of deforestation before Dr. Fetus, he sought out Lady Eboshi due to learning of her leading Iron Town to clear out a forest to access the iron under it, which instigated a great fight between her and the spirits and nature, as well as San, a human raised by the creatures there. Unfortunately for him, Eboshi was just as hostile to him as San was, the former telling Plunder that he was not welcome in Iron Town and wanted no association with him. His next choice was the Once-ler, given that one of his enemies, the Lorax, who opposes all the Eco-Villains, but especially Looten Plunder, for being essentially a worse and more malicious counterpart of the Once-ler, who at least eventually learned the weight of his actions, even if it came after he cut down the entire Truffula forests for his Thneed production. Looten Plunder saw the Once-ler as a potential business partner only to find out that he too had permanently cast down his former frivolous lifestyle and denounced Plunder as a soul lost to senseless materialism, and all the latter had to say in response was that he could stay in his current miserable standing.
  • For Duke Nukem:
    • Not to be confused with the unascended Duke Nukem, this Duke Nukem is a radioactive mutant freak who got into an accident during an experiment involving nuclear power, and likes to absorb nuclear radiation to empower himself, and also feed his unusual hunger of radiation. Good news for him is that there are plenty of sources to obtain said nuclear waste or nuclear power, usually by visiting the Hall of Toxicity, or from visiting Mr. Burns' factories. The sites of battles between radiation-using deities and monsters like Godzilla or Blight are also a popular visit for Duke Nukem. Nukem is also one of the few super-powered members among the Eco-Villains, excluding Zarm who is more of an actual deity, so on top of being a Walking Wasteland, Duke Nukem is one of the more dangerous members to deal with. To add on that, Duke Nukem's presence in the Pantheon has given him the opportunity to work with more interesting radioactive materials, like Rad Plorts, Tiberium or even Kryptonite!
    • One of Duke Nukem's biggest and most personal adversaries is Toxie, another mutant man that came from radioactive waste, but became a hero who used his powers to help the forces of good, even if he was feared for his gruesome looks. As a more selfish nuclear mutant, Toxie and Nukem regularly fight given that Nukem likes to hang out in the same Hall that Toxie is located in. However, Duke Nukem usually underestimates Toxie's cleverness and finds himself outwitted and kicked out by Toxie, which is surprising given that Duke Nukem used to be a scientist who studied nuclear power. Duke Nukem also clashes with Terry McGinnis, the Batman of a future-era Gotham, given that Nukem works directly with Derek Powers. Terry in fact considers Duke Nukem to be a stronger if more reckless version of Blight, and deals with him whenever he's trying to cause trouble where many people would get exposed to the radiation he emits.
  • For Verminous Skumm:
    • Verminous Skumm is one of the more inhumane members of the Eco-Villains, both figuratively and literally, as a dastardly and malicious rat-man who aspires to have himself and his loyal rat-people cohorts overthrow humanity as the dominant species. Wanting to do so through scheming and under-handed methods, his plans not only pollute the world but sicken and afflict humans themselves in various ways to orchestrate their downfall. Associated with Toxics, he's known for his deadly chemicals and bioweaponry to inflict harm and disaster through sicknesses and similar conditions. He's even tried to turn humans into more rat-people like him, inciting questions on how this rat-man came to be, though all we know is that he came from a toxic environment full of wastes. Though in this regard, it's made him a rival of Mesogog who wants to turn humans into dinosaurs instead. And sometimes he likes to incite conflict among humans themselves, seeking to inspire the worst in humanity so they will destroy themselves, or at least make them more suspectible to Skumm's plots.
    • As one of the more despicable examples of rat-people in the Pantheon, he's opposed by all the Good-aligned mice and rat deities in the Pantheon and despised for representing the many bad and sinister stereotypes of rats. Master Splinter, also known as Hamato Yoshi, is also a rat-person who used to be human until getting in contact with mutagen chemicals, in some stories at least. However, Splinter is an honorable ninja and detests Verminous Skumm and his depraved schemes. Though Splinter on his own is enough of a threat to Skumm, he's also opposed by Splinter's "sons", the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When the Planeteers aren't around, the Ninja Turtles are usually there to seek him out and thwart his plots, and tend to call Skumm "a freakier Rat King". Unsurprisingly, Splinter and his sons were beyond mortified to hear that Skumm once brought mutant rats to the Galapagos Islands as an invasive species, and the rats began eating turtle eggs. He actually works alongside Ratigan given that they're both vicious and ruthless in their schemes, though Ratigan doesn't speak of it since it usually leads to people calling him a rat. When Skumm heard about the Skaven, he was eager to have them as allies to aid in his schemes against humanity, particularly Deathmaster Snikch in particular given his reputation and deadliness, though given how the Skaven aren't known for teamwork or cooperation, Skumm will have to find ways to convince such Skaven to see him as an ally.
    • One of Skumm's most notorious schemes involved a star high school basketball player named Todd Andrews, who had just found out he was HIV positive. When Skumm found out about Todd's diagnosis, he started spreading malicious lies about spreading HIV and AIDS around town, causing everyone in town to turn against Todd (except his mother, younger brother, and basketball coach). Todd was so humiliated that he ran away from home and into a shack in the bayou; and even there, he was haunted by visions of his loved ones and even Skumm. Ma-Ti managed to track Todd down, and Captain Planet brought him back to the basketball championship game. After Todd's basketball coach clarified the truth about the HIV virus, everyone forgave him. Soon after hearing this story, Yuuki Konno immediately condemned Skumm, as she was born with HIV due to a blood transfusion and was alienated at school because of her diagnosis.
    • Of all of Verminous Skumm's concoctions, he's most infamous for creating and distributing drugs among people with a very clear end-goal of ruining their lives in the long run. In fact, one of his drugs, Bliss, was an addictive but toxic drug that had to be stopped before its distribution could spread greatly, and it in fact led to the death of Planeteer Linka's cousin, Boris, through an overdose. While other drug cartels and vendors like Walter White and Gustav Fring prefer not to deal with Verminous Skumm, the rat man will always try to sneak in his drugs into unsuspecting communities to sabotage them from within. On one unlucky day, he happened to try and distribute Bliss deep within Bucciarati territory. When Skumm attempted to flee and call for reinforcements after suspecting that he was being followed, he found the corpse of one of the rat-men meant to be back-up, and soon enough found himself surrounded by the members of the Bucciarati gang. Not only did the leader of the gang, Bruno Bucciarati, as well as Giorno Giovanna, find Skumm's drug-distributing activities to be beyond forgiving, the gang decided that not even the Torture Dance was a worthy punishment for what they considered as a monster beyond humanity. Skumm did end up returning to the other villains when they were "done" with him, but not in a way that the other villains expected, who were awaiting a set of Zebstrika-pelt suits at the time when a package was delivered to their doorstep, and were disgusted at the mushy remains of Skumm inside, almost beyond recognition.
Duke Nukem: Uhh... anyone up for some ratburgers?
      The other Eco-Villains: *groan* NO.
  • For Dr. Blight:
    • As a vile representative of unchecked, amoral pursuit of science, Dr. Blight has been eager to establish connections with similarly immoral scientists that are willing to set aside morals and concerns about the livelihoods of their peers, like Professor Hojo as well as Dr. Neo Cortex, the latter of whom had also tried to experiment on animals for the sake of world domination, which impressed Dr. Blight. She also found Porky Minch and his feats interesting, not just his technology, but his animal experiments regarding the Chimeras, and even his work with Giygas, not intimidated by the horrific potential of Giygas. Given her cruelty and experimentation with animals, this got Dr. Blight receiving opposition from Crash Bandicoot, who was an experimented bandicoot who ended up becoming a hero who loved throwing wrenches and wumpa fruits in the scientists' plans. Lilo and Stitch, while not liking any of the Eco-Villains in general, despise Dr. Blight in particular, given that Stitch himself was an experiment meant for destructive purposes. Also, she's known for her unusual relationship with M.A.L., an Artificial Intelligence she made and also flirts with. Apparently she's been heard dreaming about Data of the Enterprise crew of all people as well, which happen to be a great lesson to Data about the emotion of being creeped out.
    • While a rather vain scientist who is proud of having a reputation as a beauty, her appearance is tainted by a mark that represents the rancorous and ugly sides of her soul. Hidden beneath her bangs is a horrific burn scar that she received in the past, presumably from one of her own wicked experiments. The topic is highly sensitive since she prides herself on her own beauty and vanity and would get rid of that blasted scar if given the opportunity to, even if means harvesting an endangered animal to do it. Dr. Blight isn't sympathized by those who had similar scars under more tragic circumstances, however. The Phantom of the Opera as well as Two-Face would rather not associate with Dr. Blight, with the latter in a sense "proud" of his scar as a man of questionable sanity would. Zuko, who received a very similar burn scar from his father, Ozai, sees Barbara as no better than his own father, and Shoto Todoroki also cares literally about Dr. Blight's angst regarding her scar, seeing the scientist as someone despicable like with Dr. Kyudai Garaki, the wicked scientist within his society's League of Villains.
    • Dr. Blight happens to be already familiar with K.O. and his friends, given that Dr. Blight has visited Lakewood Plaza Turbo before. On that occasion, she worked directly with fellow evil scientist Lord Boxman to pollute the place, only for even him to question Dr. Blight's intentions on polluting the Earth to its logical extreme, since it would kill them too as they live on the very planet they're polluting. Dr. Blight frankly had nothing to care about Boxman's concerns let alone the planet's life and environments, though Boxman still ended up going along with it due to wanting to impress her. While Dr. Blight was eventually defeated by Captain Planet, she still did much damage, and furthermore, in K.O.'s timeline, the Planeteers ended up splitting with only Kwame staying with the others growing up and bitterly leaving to get actual jobs. While the Planeteers in the Pantheon are insistent on averting this timeline, K.O. is very adamant on not letting Dr. Blight or her allies pollute to their liking. Additionally, Professor Venomous, who happens to also be a supervillain and a scientist, may be of opposing morals to K.O., but still happens to hate Dr. Blight just as much, perhaps given his current marriage to Lord Boxman.
  • For Zarm:
    • A former Spirit of Earth similar to Gaia in the show, he's not only the most powerful of the Eco-Villains with only Captain Pollution as a potential contender, but the worst of a very bad lot given that he is responsible for the destruction of other formerly populated planets in his setting. Always out to create conflict and terrible war for his own sick twisted entertainment, he proved himself to be a frightening equivalent to Gaia, not only leading the other Eco-Villains when he was active, but trying to turn humans against each other, even the Planeteers. While technically a spirit of nature like Gaia, he finds the likes of war gods to be more comparable to him, being more representative of the crueler and violent side of nature where Gaia was the more compassionate and lively side of it, and prides himself as a Spirit of War and Destruction instead of Nature. Given his infamy for causing people to destroy their own world through war, he's a rival of Ares, a war god himself. He also found the Hades of Kid Icarus to be a swell fellow, who also wanted to incite war among humans to harvest all of their souls for his own interest, and finds Hades' actions and motives to be interesting enough to ally with the wicked lord of the Underworld.
    • While Zarm is practically divine on his own, he prefers to use his powers to play humans along to his will and manipulate them to enact their worst impulses, instead of directly destroying the world himself. Zarm has even almost managed to successfully corrupt the Planeteers into starting a third World War, only failing to corrupt Ma-Ti, the owner of the Heart Ring. Zarm likes to practice his skills, which include shapeshifting and social manipulation, on the suggestible Thraddash who regularly bombard their civilization back to square one and only recover enough to do it again. As for why he likes to bring out the crueler side of men, Zarm loathes the compassion and virtue of humanity, seeing the ruthlessness and violence of humanity as more appealing, and finds the mutant Apocalypse to be an example of what he likes. He also finds Davros to be very intriguing as the logical extreme of Zarm's philosophy, encouraging xenophobia and genocide and creating the Daleks to enact a campaign of destruction on all other forms of life and existence. Molag Bal, a Daedric Prince also infamous for corrupting others into villainy, is respected by Zarm but Molag Bal doesn't share the favor given his former ties with nature, even if he also likes his penchant of tempting people into villainy through his Iron Fists.
    • Zarm had found Atreus training in a forest, with Zarm mistaking the deity to be some random "nature boy" who was probably a worshipper of some other nature god like Artemis or Gaia. Deciding that he would start with instigating more violent conflict by using the boy as an Unwitting Pawn, he shapeshifted into Gaia and appeared before the man under the guise of wanting to bring gifts to him under the pretext of a little quest. Despite being unaware of Zarm's forms of treachery and deception or his Iron Fists, he remained cautious and laid on many questions to this Gaia, eventually asking how she was aware of his father's tie to the Greek gods. The confused "Gaia" growing frustrated, asked further on said father until he heard a quiet but gruff voice nearby, from a large pale man covered in red marks. Having not met Kratos before, Zarm attempted to deceive him with a stern warning before Kratos noted that she was nothing like the Gaia he was familiar with, and swiftly punched Zarm down to the ground, causing Zarm to lose his disguise. Instead of escalating the action immediately, Kratos slowly walked towards him, talking about how Zarm and his reputation reminded him greatly of the Ares of his world, and gave some light hints on what Kratos did to said Ares. Realizing that he was dealing with not just an equal but someone more than capable of ending him, Zarm quickly turned tail and fled. When the other Eco-Villains heard about it, they responded as any fellow Eco-Villain would: laughing at Zarm's misfortune.
    • Apparently, he's been pulling the strings of almost every human tyrant in history, and the Planeteers have been aware of Morgar, a dictator who did come to power due to Zarm's manipulation. He did state that there was one recent tyrant who actually rejected Zarm's assistance, but the dictator had been successful enough in causing destruction and war to the point of impressing Zarm regardless. While he's never said it outright, other deities believe that the outstanding dictator who impressed Zarm without his help was none other than the man who instigated World War II himself. Of course, some have noted that he's been eyeing HYDRA and similar fascist groups with interest, and is especially pleased by the achievements of Red Skull for continuing the Nazis' legacy and continuing to have violence and cruelty threaten the world, as well as Wilhelm Strasse for securing world domination under fascism where the Fuhrer failed, even managing to expand to other parts of the Solar System, and hopes they both take war and destruction to the next level in the Pantheon. That said, Zarm hasn't dealt with them personally, due to believing they don't need his help either. It's made others wonder who else Zarm has or will eventually try to bring to power. That said, Zarm is already content with the number of warmongering tyrants and despots in the Pantheon, and is willing to let them do their thing, while seeking to bring about destructive and violent conflict elsewhere.
