Pantheon / GUAE Re-education Facility

Go To

On the surface, the name "re-education" by itself does not sound sinister. That is, until the moment you examine the building which it takes place in. In short words, this giant closed-off area in the GUAE's southeast sector bears more resemblance to a political re-education camp rather than a school. Standard curriculum includes long pages of texts deriding such ideas as hope, optimism, selflessness and the paradox of the existence of a hero (i.e. that they always need villains). Other education includes "joyous suffering", "your rightful rule" and other similarly twisted forms of education.

As of the current moment, it is still in experimental stages, but Melkor is adamant that the above strategy is perfect for curing the "Anti" of Anti-Villain and the "Well-Intentioned" of Well-Intentioned Extremist...

Led by The Mage of the Beginning and Arthas Menethil (being the Face–Heel Turn-inducer specialist for those who graduates). Also assisted by Emperor Palpatine and Master Xehanort.

Abandon hope all ye who enter here.

Recently, it suffered a blow to its reputation (not very good anyway) when a large group of angels broke in and spirited Big Brother and Alexander Anderson away to the GUAL Ministry of the Word. Security measures are being tightened across the Facility. In spite of the increased security, it still suffered another blow when the likes of Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and Rachel Alucard broke in and freed Kitana, Sub-Zero and Kung Lao back to the GUAG. In addition, Quan Chi suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Scorpion during the 25-Year Prophecy, leading to the breakout of Satsuki Kiryuin by the likes of Ryuko Matoi, Mako Mankanshoku, and her fellow Elite Four allies Ira Gamagori and Nonon Jakuzure.

Following Quan Chi's demise, he was booted out and replaced by a newly-ascended Mage of the Beginning, who has brought in three deities from the GUAG with her upon her ascension.

Negi Springfield, God of Genre Shifting (Negi-bozu, Negi-sensei, Son of the Hero, Consultant for Ala Alba, Magistrulus Magi/"Master Magician", Thundergod Negi)
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The pactio artifact Mile Vincula
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: Got possessed by The Mage of the Beginning
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Nil, as he's possessed by The Mage of the Beginning, and he's able to remain himself for the time being.
  • Threat Level: High due to magical skill and raw power. And his ability to attract female allies, regardless of their previous alignments. Has moved towards Very High after mastering Magia Erebea.
  • Chances of crossing the Moral Event Horizon: He's still mostly himself but it's only a matter of time before The Mage of the Beginning completely possesses him.

Jecht, God of Memetic Sex (Sir Jecht, Sin)

The Boss, Goddess of Pregnant Badasses (The Joy, Voyevoda)

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her snake-shaped scar
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: Officially, to honor her son Ocelot's wishes. Really, she's trying to undermine the GUAE from the inside, just like he is. Even if she has to take the fall to do so. She's just noticeably less subtle about her heroic true nature than he is.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low. Ocelot is known for his Chronic Backstabbing Disorder, and her loyalty is rather limited by his, though she frequently volunteers for undeniably evilnote  missions to maintain a facade of a tolerable loyalty level. Actually zero, of course.
  • Threat Level: Very, very, very high. She taught Big Boss everything he knows. The only member of the GUAG with any chance of beating her is Solid Snake, who was last seen under a box in the corner in a fetal position mumbling something about having "thought dad was just making that stuff up".
  • Chance of crossing the Moral Event Horizon: ??? Nil. She's good all along, joining here was a calculated act.

Kevin Ethan Levin, God of Offscreen Face Turns (Kevin 11, Kev, Muscles)

  • Lesser God in his normal state. Depending on how much energy he absorbs, it jumps to Intermediate or Greater God.
  • Symbol: The lock chain he wears around his neck.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good/Chaotic Good, although he has been all over the place. Many in the Pantheon are wary of him due to his tendency to switch sides.
  • Reason for joining: None. Forced to cooperate with Melkor because of his potential to turn heel again.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Low. Kevin is a sophisticated Anti-Hero at his best, and doesn't like to associate with villains.
  • Threat Level: High. If Kevin absorbs more energy than necessary, it would become a serious problem.
  • Chance of crossing the Moral Event Horizon: Nil. Kevin is currently atoning for his sins in the past.

Kurtis Stryker, God of Police Brutality (Stryker)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The NYPD Badge; alternatively his SWAT cap.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: None. Forced to cooperate with Melkor because of Quan Chi enslaving and controlling him.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Nil. Stryker's trying everything he can to resist Quan Chi's effects that are trying to make him show loyalty to Melkor.
  • Threat level to Cosmos: High. He's the only character in his respective series who can kick ass without even using any kind of superpowers.
  • Chance of crossing the Moral Event Horizon: Nil. He, alongside with Sub-Zero and Smoke are trying everything they can to free themselves from Quan Chi's control and go back to the GUAG. With support from Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Sonya Blade and their new Big Good Rachel Alucard, chances are he's dropping.

Ralph, God of Punch Clock Villains (Wreck-It Ralph)

  • Lesser God
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Symbol: An 8-bit version of his face (alternatively, Vanellope's special cookie medal)
  • Reason for joining: None, actually. Even though he's a "bad guy", he's not truly a bad guy at all.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: VERY low. Ralph's more unnerved on how Melkor takes his 'job' as a villain so seriously.
  • Threat Level to Cosmos: Medium. His massive fists are known to smash anything into rubble. However, if you put his friends (Felix and Vanellope) into ANY sort of danger, then he'll do anything in his path to destroy who hurt them which makes him more of a Medium-High.
  • Chance of crossing the Moral Event Horizon: Low. Even if he plays a villain, outside of that he's a very nice guy to be around. Just do not hurt his friends though. He'll also be willing to work for the good guys should Vanellope ever get into danger.

Smoke, God of Smoke (Tomas Vrbada)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A Babality-ified Robo-Smoke.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Reason for Joining: None. Forced to cooperate with Melkor because of Quan Chi enslaving and controlling him.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Nil. Smoke's trying everything he can to resist Quan Chi's effects that are trying to make him show loyalty to Melkor.
  • Threat level to Cosmos: High.
  • Chance of crossing the Moral Event Horizon: Nil. He, alongside with Sub-Zero and Stryker are trying everything they can to free themselves from Quan Chi's control and go back to the GUAG. With support from Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Sonya Blade and their new Big Good Rachel Alucard, chances are he's dropping.

Yue Ayase, Goddess of Teen Geniuses (Student #4, Philosophastra Illustrans/"Illustrating Philosopher", Baka Black/Leader, Yue Farandole, Ariadne Battle Maiden Knight Squad Cadet, The Magical Detective, Yue The All-Knowing)

  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: A juice box
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reasons for Joining: She follows Negi so she just so happened to end up here.
  • Loyalty to Melkor: Her loyalty lies with Negi, so it depends.
  • Threat level to Cosmos: Moderate. Her Pactio lets her learn numerous magic spells with due ease.
  • Chances of crossing the Moral Event Horizon: It's entirely dependent on Negi.
