- Lugia and Ho-oh serve as the Legendary Pokémon of the Johto region. Lugia resides in the sea and is capable of causing powerful storms. Ho-Oh takes its inspiration from the Phoenix and it's been stated that it forms a rainbow behind itself whenever it is flying. Both once dwelled in Ecruteak City's towers (or just Ho-oh depending on the story) only for a storm and fire to ravage the Brass Tower, and ultimately they left. Lugia lives in the Whirl Islands in order to contain its power while Ho-oh waits for those pure of heart.
- Applies to both of them
- The two giant flyers are noteworthy for being the very first "box art/mascot legendaries", though they lack the typical version exclusivity and lack a third member. Both also showed up in the anime before the games; Ho-oh was witnessed by Ash on the very first day of his adventure, and his first "save the world" dealnote involved Lugia. The two have fond memories for Ash and his compassion, along with his Pikachu. However, it's hard for Ash to get to Lugia's temple due to the storms it creates and Ho-oh is usually absent, preferring to soar through the skies.
- Because of how rare and powerful they are they are considered a valued asset by Pokémon Hunter J and Giovanni; one of Giovanni's high-ranking subordinates attempted to control one of Lugia's species, and the villainous Team Cipher had one of their major figures thwarted by Ho-oh. They also turned a Lugia into their ultimate Shadow Pokémon. Ho-oh scoffs at the idea J could ever get her grubby mitts on it as it only shows up to those pure of heartnote and would only appear to ready a strong Sacred Fire at her direction.
- In spite of being a rather vicious legendary, Yveltal is on decent terms with the two. It, like Ho-oh, is a phoenix...just "a pretty edgy one" according to Lugia. The Psychic avian is more want to rib the Destruction Pokémon due to a more cautious personality and being weak to Dark-type attacks, but they're still buddies. Both of them are also buddies with Captain Planet and the Planeteers. Though destructive in its power Lugia really wants to avoid causing collateral damage and as such appreciates somebody who protects the environment, while Ho-oh is a figure of rebirth; clean air, clean sea and clean land equals a happy phoenix. The two of them are also friends with the Spectral Eagle; Ho-oh recognizes it as a benevolent phoenix like itself, and Lugia recognizes it as a guardian of seafarers...and that's something it respects. That said the Eagle is closer to Ho-oh because it's a phoenix but Lugia isn't.
- Many weren't that surprised to hear that Ho-Oh has partnered with Jean-Grey Summers mainly due to the fact that both represent The Phoenix in some way (well, Ho-Oh is a phoenix) Ho-Oh was able to detect an incredibly powerful aura that was similar to itself and went out to search for it. For those wondering met her practicing her psychic powers with Charles Xavier, bearing watch over her out of concern. Lugia's partner of Poseidon was actually surprising though, given you'd think his mercurial personality would make it a poor match-up. But he chose Lugia over Kyogre in part from pity towards the fate of Orre's Lugia and aided it against being harassed from a crew of lowly pirates.
- Both are of interest to Daenerys Targaryen. Yeah Ho-oh is a phoenix and not a dragon, however it is still this incredibly powerful legendary of fire. The rest of House Targaryen also thinks so. Ho-oh isn't comfortable with this; it has no taste for war, doesn't want to be involved in their squabbles, and it considers almost no Targaryen in history to be pure of heart, not even some of the greats like Aegon the Conqueror. They are welcome to study it from a distance, however. House Targaryen was also intrigued by Lugia since it may not be Dragon-type, but is based off a mythological dragon; the Ryujin. And the idea of a water-based dragon is a novel concept for them; they want to learn more.
- Applies to Lugia
- The Lugia in the Trope Pantheon is the one found guarding Shamouti Island. However it has heard of other Lugia; a young Lugia and their parent, the one that used to be in Ecruteak City and the one corrupted by Team Cipher. It keeps a leash on the legendary birds, which is pretty similar to Rayquaza breaking up fights between Kyogre and Groudon. Rayquaza was surprised to learn Lugia wasn't a Water type, but Lugia explained this as "it gives a stronger impression" (also possibly because it's not originally from the sea). While Kyogre and Groudon resent the dragon keeping them in check, the legendary birds are willing to listen to Lugia rather than complaining and blaming one another.
- Ironically for its job of keeping order between the legendary birds, Lugia is pretty inherently destructive. It is said to blow apart houses with a flap of its wings, so it lives underwater so as not to cause much destruction. It's something that the GUAD would love to take advantage of, and they have plans of corrupting Lugia into XD001...something Lugia despises as it hates needless destruction and what happened to its Orre "cousin". The existence of Shadow Lugia is also why Lugia has a personal dislike of the Heartless. The Diving Pokémon tends to avoid the House of Villainy too, since while most aren't interested in Lugia persay the legendary fears its power being used for evil purposes in general
- It's also been stated that whenever Lugia flaps its wings, it can cause a 40-day storm. The claims have been questionable at best, though it does have strong defensive capabilities. These claims immediately caught Noah's attention, since he noticed the 40 days fits in line with The Great Flood. He wonders if there's a Pokémon version of the myth based on Lugia's actions. The legendary sure hopes it didn't cause that kind of trouble; it has contempt to those who cause such chaos. Though it could never understand the likes of Cthulhu, it does not want the Great Old One to escape his sunken city. It is also wary of Lucy's destructive nature due to her Psychic Powers, which aren't too different than Lugia's own. However, it recognizes there is more to her than that and is protective to her nicer alter, Nyu.
- As far as the living underwater aspect of it is concerned, Lugia is on good terms with other Pokémon that are known for it such as Kingdra, along with other sea-based people like Ika Musume and Arthur Curry. Aquaman is a more serious ally as he is a guardian of the sea, and one more adept at it than Lugia. Being the considerate soul that it is, Lugia feels sympathy for Pi and his partner for their shipwreck, as it feels it may have unintentionally caused some shipwrecks before learning to keep its power in check. It also feels some guilt allying with Poseidon when it knows the sea-based suffering Odysseus went through. The hero simply said that Lugia shouldn't be too hard on itself.
- The Sea King and the Kraken do not take Lugia's presence in the sea with any fanfare. They believe that Lugia has no right being seen as some sort of great sea legendary seeing as how it isn't even Water type, and believe they should get that sort of awe and respect instead. Since Lugia is not an aggressive being like them, it disagrees...however it also tries not to take the bait. Lugia is more concerned with one Euron Greyjoy, a psychopath who briefly was at awe in the legendary, before declaring that somehow, he would bind it since XD001 proves that's possible. He wonders if the horn Dragonbinder would work; as mentioned while not a Dragon type, Lugia has a lot of draconic traits.
- Applies to Ho-oh
- While Lugia was a Canon Immigrant, Ho-oh was always intended to be introduced as a legendary. It was there to witness three Pokémon perish in the flames of the Tin Tower, and chose to resurrect them in new, more powerful forms; Raikou after the lightning that started the fire, Entei after the fire itself and Suicune after the rain that put the fire out. These three are known as the legendary beasts, and owe their second life to the Rainbow Pokémon. It is not known if Ho-oh can resurrect itself, though it wouldn't be out of character if it could. Dumbledore has a fondness for Ho-oh since he reminds him of his animal companion Fawkes.
- It's said that whoever sees Ho-oh will have eternal happiness. This has led to the theory that the reason Ash is still 10 is related to said happiness, and in one timeline even dropped one of its feathers for him. Alas, this theory loses scrutiny when you remember characters like Bart are still 10 without a similar excuse. However the legendary beasts it can obviously extend life, which is why both Voldemort and Darth Plagueis are looking to capture Ho-oh. Ho-oh chooses to ready itself if they get within its sight. It will sometimes talk with the Life Entity and Adara; the former about the nature of life and rebirth, and the latter about being an avian of hope...as someone said to bring happiness, it appreciates the celestial entity of hope for what it is.
- Ho-oh does hope to bring about happiness to those it considers worthy, and if there's any place it roosts with some regularity it is the Hall of Happiness. It feels a deep kinship with Wander, since he strives to make people happy. It also is a big fan of. Inversely Ho-oh is disturbed by Nerose Satanel since he forces people to be happy by removing their free will. Ho-oh is not a fan of Nekron either...admittedly neither is Lugia given they're, you know, living beings, but there is some sort of personal concern that the Lord of the Unliving takes special affront to Ho-oh "cheating death" with the legendary beasts.
- Ho-Oh seems to like other deities that have rainbow motifs such as Lady Rainicorn and Rainbow Dash. On the other hand, Ho-Oh hates Ragyo Kiryuin for giving rainbows a bad representation, by being her sick and twisted self. It doesn't hate Chimata Tenkyuu being associated with rainbows, but it still avoids contact with her because of her anger and outbursts. As it only shows up to those pure of heart Ho-oh is also never seen in the skies of the House of Villainy. Rather, you can expect Ho-oh to pay respect to those like Galahad who prove their purity. Chances are that anyone who the Rainbow Pokémon takes special interest in is in the consideration for wielding purity-requiring artifacts like Samurai Jack's katana.
- Japhet once tried to challenge both Ho-Oh and Moltres on different occasions, both being inspired by Fire Birds. Part of the reason for these battles is for domination to see who's the better fire bird and another part was for getting recognition for these battles if victorious. While Japhet held his own well among the two Legendaries, he lost to both as they have the hidden ability to heal themselves, much like the Batter himself (and unlike Japhet). The Millennial Fire Bird has sworn for another rematch another day.

- Long ago, by the early 1930's most cartoons starred "everymen" protagonists; known for being cheerful, optimistic and reserved and who got into wacky hijynx due to the insanity around them. But all that changed when one day Porky Pig (Warner Bros' then-top star Toon) was out hunting ducks and met a particularly insane, uncatchable black duck that made his hunting trip hell and got away with it. This crazy, darn fool duck was soon revealed to be called Daffy and his popularity with audiences elevated him to stardom allowing him to star in many cartoons where his wackiness made him the center of attention and birthed the "Screwball" protagonists, who'd bounce around the screen wreaking havoc for the fun of it. His rising fame almost allowed him to dethrone Porky as the star of the Warner Bros, and he attempted to speed up the process by appealing to Leon Schlesinger to promote him even if he failed in his attempts. All seemed well, regardless... until the rascally rabbit Bugs Bunny appeared and definitely stole everyone else's thunder becoming the new top star, a frustrated Daffy would then try multiple times in many cartoons to one-up Bugs, gradually becoming nastier and more luckless as he kept on scheming unsuccessfully, until he became known for being second-best to Bugs and audiences grew to like disliking him and seeing his misfortune bite him in the tail. Eventually Daffy's unpopularity embittered him further and further until he became an outright villain antagonizing Bugs and other Toons frequently for most of the late 1900's a role that unfortunately worsened his situation with audiences; fortunately, he would get his mojo back in the 2000's and after sorting out his jealously and resentment towards Bugs, Daffy was able to return to his screwer roots and become the crazy duck he once was again, albeit still greedy and unlucky from time to time; all the while he still sometimes plots to take over from Bugs.
- Ascended at the request and help of Bugs Bunny because of an agreement to share the spotlight together, and after Daffy practically begged to be let in on the fun of being a Pantheon God. Once up and after his titles were settled for good, Daffy was sure to celebrate his proper entrance by doing his usual daffy routine and annoyed several Deities in the process leading to a humorous cartoon chase which ended in him being captured and beaten up for his troubles by those he had provoked. He has calmed down since and mostly went on his business in the Pantheon, sometimes annoying any and all deities unfortunate enough to face him in his "screwball" days and otherwise trying to scam or one-up deities during his greedier days. He still teams up with his longtime pal Porky Pig, the two often up to some misadventure to win some big bucks or complete a task given to them by another deity. While going along with Porky, Daffy got more chances to be around Gabby Goat, the Toon whose role he supplanted, and after some bitter words managed to end up on good terms with the grumpy goat, even letting him join in on some of his and Porky's escapes, though it's common for the goat and pig to beat up Daffy when his antics get the group in trouble in these instances.
- Once also tried to get the title of God of Karmic Trickery recalling his wackier roots as a screwball who'd get the better of all foes that faced him but lost to Bugs because the latter said Daffy should get it. They eventually settled to give him the title of God of Feather Fingers, which he begrudgingly accepted as better than nothing.
- At one point, much to Daffy's frustration, his old title got revoked for reasons unknown with him ranting that it could be either the universe conspiring against him being in the Pantheon, the Warner Brothers once more screwing him over or even J.P. Cubish's ghost somehow continuing to torment him (but it was probably just his plain ol' bad luck during a revision). The duck demanded that he be kept in the Pantheon, so the Court of the Gods had to find another title he could take, and to his surprise, he got two new ones which he felt much more fitting of: The God of Era-Specific Personalities and God of Noisy Ducks, as mentioned above he made sure to prove why he deserved those, to the chagrin of everyone.
- Once got himself fired from Warner Bros. over his complaint of always being second to Bugs and wanting a movie of his own. Bugs was able to get him rehired, Daffy got his chance to be the hero of the movie as Duck Dodgers, and the two agreed to share the spotlight together. Ever since, Daffy's been able to curb his jealously and hatred of Bugs thanks to getting a show of his own and eventually his very own movie (sharing the spotlight with his other best pal, Porky Pig and Porky's girlfriend, Petunia Pig) where he once more saved the day, this time by staying true to his screwy roots, all of this has helped him regain his ground as a true star, even if the public still likes to see him suffer along the process.
- He made friends with other insane or hyperactive deities who have little to no grasp on reality
- One of these friends was Pinkie Pie as the hyperactive Earth Pony is known for breaking the laws of both her nation and physics with her antics and has an affinity for wacky shenanigans. Particularly Daffy liked that Pinkie got him a trip to Discord's realm known as Chaosville, resembling the utter hectic and nonsensical landscape of both Toontown and Wackyland which he's lived in and visited prior, respectively; the madcap Duck on his most wacky days is one of the few deities that can actually outpace Discord at chaos and has led to the Draconequus being very careful with the duck ever having access to his chaos magic, knowing he'd be a nuisance on a worse scale than himself with it.
- Due to his friendship with Pinkie, Deadpool also met Daffy and made allies with him, joining Daffy on some of his screwy antics and giving him free rein to torment the heroes and villains of Marvel as the duck's done with some of DC's own characters. Deadpool in particular likes Daffy's drive for chaos and nonsense like Pinkie's and how much less morally grounded Daffy is, meaning he doesn't have to watch his language or the severity of his more morally dubious deeds around him.
- Spongebob and Patrick also made a rapport with Daffy, the latter willing to join in on some of their antics to either annoy Squidward or get into all kinds of shenanigans around. Patrick himself was particularly keen on Daffy's fun-loving nature and often is the first to join in on his chaos. On the days where he feels meaner than usual Daffy feels annoyed by them instead and is likely to end up a victim of the fallout of their actions like Squidward, though this hasn't stopped Daffy from liking them overall.
- Is admired by Gumball Watterson, who is a relatively newer Toon in the business and has more than once proven to be similar to Daffy in both lack of self-restraint and egotistical nature. In particular, Gumball asked for his advice at how to be a better comedic Toon, knowing of Daffy's teachings at ACME Looniversity which included subjects on manipulating the concept of slapstick and comedy to one's advantage. Surprisingly, Daffy proved a competent teacher at it and gave Gumball much needed motivation to keep going on his wacky merry way.
- Ever since the 1980s, Daffy can't keep even a dollar to himself after inheriting a vast fortune from J.P. Cubish for making him laugh, and being too self-centered to follow up Cubish's will, resulting in Cubish's ghost taking any money the duck touches after he'd taken back all his fortune from beyond the grave. As a result, he is banned from the House of Commerce (his disposed predecessor's former house) because of his curse, as anytime he tried to buy or sell, he would inevitably cause monetary losses on an unprecedented scale once Cubish's curse got up to screwing him over. He actually received pity from Mr. Krabs for this, who himself hates losing even one measly penny and cannot fathom how Daffy could live cursed by what he sees as a Fate Worse than Death, a sympathy Daffy actually feels grateful for.
- At first, Daffy hated Speedy for no particular reason. The two reconciled since then and have never said anything about these conflicts. The two have been hanging out quite a bit, with one notable instance of them running a private island (though it ended in failure and it took a lot of time to get a burrito out of Speedy's nose). These days, the two enjoy a pleasant, nice friendship, even if Speedy is exasperated by Daffy's bouts of incompetence and stupidity when he hires him for a job or asks for his help.
- Has a rivalry with Donald Duck that was triggered by a piano duel between them in 1947, though behind the scenes they're good friends with each other, especially because they relate to each other's major struggle of living in the shadow of their extremely popular co-star (Mickey for Donald and Bugs for Daffy) and occasionally trying to one-up them only to fail miserably, as well as their incredibly bad luck that plagues them at their grumpiest. To this day, they still hold piano duels, which always result in them fighting. Daffy gets rather annoyed at Huey, Dewey, & Louie for constantly heckling him during these performances. He also had the audacity of flirting with Daisy Duck during one of those piano duels, who was willing to play along just to make Donald jealous for the sake of provoking a more real fight between the two ducks, albeit as usual they still all forgive and forget once it's done. He does get along swimmingly with Donald's close friends, Mickey and Goofy, particularly the latter who is more likely to understand his wackiness and airheaded mindset.
- Things got a bit heated when Della Duck, Donald's long-lost sister, ascended into the Pantheon and Daffy was quick to try and play casanova with the new arrival, to Donald's rather understandable uncomfortableness and eventual fury when Daffy seemed to be charming Della with whatever is it that let him score girls before, it devolved into yet another more serious fight before the rest of the McDuck clan got involve to get them to stop and make peace, with Della kindly letting Daffy down, though this hasn't stopped Daffy from trying again in the future. Rumors have also spread that not only has Daffy been involved with Della in the past, but he may be the father of Huey, Dewey and Louie. While Donald and Daffy himself dread that possibility (the former because friend or not, Daffy is not someone he wants influencing his nephews; and the latter because parenthood and responsibility aren't his thing) the triplets admit they find Daffy cool enough that if he is their father they wouldn't mind, either way Daffy flat-out stated he won't settle down in any scenario and just hops away hooting if you try and get more answers out of him.
- On another occasion he accompanied Scrooge McDuck on a treasure hunt around the Pantheon, but Scrooge quickly grew fed up with the looney duck's antics and especially after Daffy tried and scram with all the treasure they found, however in the end Daffy made up for him by helping Scrooge thwart Magica DeSpell's and Flintheart Glomgold's attempt to ruin Scrooge's treasure hunt when the two showed up out of nowhere to attack, using his crazy nature to drive them insane and help Scrooge drive them away, for this Scrooge admitted Daffy is a jerk but at least has limits, though isn't too eager to have him as a companion again. Regardless of this hostile encounter he's also been quick to try and flirt with Magica like he's done with other female ducks, though he gets zapped each and every time for his troubles. As for Flintheart, even outside adventuring Daffy would rather not let the equally greedy con duck anywhere near his own schemes. Among other associates and foes of Scrooge he found himself tangling with were Launchpad McQuack who sometimes is a bit dimmer than usual and is very accident prone, sharing a commonality with Daffy over it; Gladstone Gander, whose incredible good luck made him the target of Daffy's jealously, especially with his uncanny ability to come across money everywhere, even when it's illogical, opposite to Daffy being cursed to lose all money he ever gets.
- He also clashed with Darkwing Duck, primarily because of how the two's superhero personas have the same narcissism problem and when they tried to team up to fight evildoers in the Pantheon they just ended up fighting each other until out of sheer necessity they put aside these differences, the two still don't see eye-to-eye and prefer to not try and team up again, though they inevitably do re-encounter each other. Gossalyn and Porky took their chances to befriend each other and hang around just to see what chaos and stupidity their "superiors" will get up to when crossing paths.
- Contrasting his rivalry with Donald, he's got a less amicable one against Heckle and Jeckle, a pair of annoying crows that have taken to challenging him to a heckle contest to see who's the best annoying toon, a contest that often ends in him the loser once more. While Daffy has been able to get back at them a few times, he is likelier to lose against the pair. Similarly, Screwy Squirrel, another heckler without much reason or rhyme to, also has set his sights on besting Daffy at the screwy business, though Daffy has gotten more victories over the squirrel than the other way around and unlike his rivalry with Heckle and Jeckle.
- There was a dream where he imitated Samurai Jack while being Duck Dodgers. It's been said that it happened again after he ate a poisoned blowfish in the House of Food. Jack himself thinks Daffy is a narcissistic fool not too different from an arrogant warrior known as Da Samurai who he once fought against in an effort to humble him, though in turn doesn't feel any animosity against the duck, just hoping he doesn't cause too much trouble for him given that Daffy has attempted to imitate him from time to time. Aku on his part doesn't feel any fear from Daffy but finds the duck annoying to just look at and hopes he never ever gets the idea to try and join Jack's crusades against him, feeling he'd get headaches for millennia dealing with the duck's antics.
- Back in the 1940's, Daffy went up against Nazis many times, from facing metal-eating goats sent by them, to fooling officers and even hitting Adolf Hitler himself in the head with a mallet. While he's a bit more cowardly nowadays, his valor comes back whenever a Nazi deity is up to causing trouble or trying to hurt the innocent. As such Daffy will revert to his "Super American" form to face them. All this has made Daffy infamous among Nazi deities, as he has a tendency to mess them up real good and will gladly torment any and all Nazi deities if given the chance to. Particularly the leading ones like Red Skull, Wilhelm and are all annoyed to death by the duck and his repeated interference in their business. SHOCKER, being partly founded by ex-nazis, is also among the many groups Daffy has bothered for that.
- As a result of these adventures, Daffy's cartoons provided entertainment to children who were affected by the Nazis and were happy to see someone ridicule them so effortlessly, one of these children was Johannes "Jojo" Betzler, who once belonged to the Hitler Youth before seeing the error of his ways, Daffy was kind enough to be genuinely approachable with the kid and make him have a good time as a further relief from the horrors he experience right at the end of the war. Jojo has a positive opinion of Daffy as a result and even thinks of him as one of his favorite toons, a sentiment Daffy appreciates considering how often he's not appreciated by anyone.
- Despite this, his cowardly actions in "Draftee Daffy" got him bad looks from Steve Rogers/Captain America, especially when Daffy tried to discuss with him about their wartime heroics, with the Captain annoyed Daffy would dare show cowardice despite his boasts about being a proud American soldier and previous instances of actually taking to the battlefield. While Daffy tried to defend himself by claiming he only shows aversion to fighting if he's forced to rather than allowed the make the choice to do so (befitting the chaotic nature of a Toon), it hasn't really done much to convince Steve of seeing him as a close comrade, though he at least remains friendly with the duck for the most part.
- He's sympathetic to other greedy deities, particularly those with as much as luck as he has (none). One of the more notable ones was Stanley Pines, who once ran a successful tourist trap business in the town of Gravity Falls, Oregon; and has some serious bad luck and stories to tell. While Stan has a bit more of a moral code and limits than Daffy, the two still get along otherwise on account of their ability to overcome those who underestimate them and more often than not run successful businesses involving the paranormal, like Daffy's own Quackbusters which dealt with legitimate ghosts and other spooks, even if that one le to his current problems with money and any one dollar he earns being taken away by JP Cubish's ghost. Daffy met Dipper and Mabel through him and while not the best role model in existence, the two still found him a likeable guy to hang out with, if only to see the chaos he got up to, he mostly took a liking to Mabel due to her more unusual interests and own similarities to Stan.
- The Eds are a trio of kids who live scamming their fellow cul-de-sac neighbors and more often than not are forced to run away from the consequences of their screwing and conning around provoking the wrath of those they affect. Daffy has at times lent a hand on their schemes, mostly getting swimmingly with Ed, due to his more eccentric nature and shared interests in the nonsensical.
- Another luckless deity he befriended was Milo Murphy, who goes even further than him as his bad luck is both an innate trait of his family and its inherited from his ancestors, but Milo has found a way to turn this otherwise mortal life-ending luck into ways to help himself around and save the day when his world at a stake. He's taught Daffy different means in which to be prepared to deal with his bad luck and how he should see ways to turn it on its head and benefit from the bad luck, even gifting a backpack similar to his own so he could try it out. While Daffy initially dismissed the advice, after seeing Milo evade an attempt from the Final Destination's version of Death to kill him and escape once more, he figured he could follow the advice after all.
- Daffy has a pretty long resume of multiple jobs, longer than any other Looney Tune has had, among these jobs are being a detective (in different forms, mostly taking after his favorite character Dick Tracy and another one of them based on Sherlock Holmes) and even various superhero alter egos (like Super American, Stupor Duck and even as a he was a Green Lantern known as the Green Loontern at one point along with several other unsuccessful attempts at superheroism like trying to be the next Batman). Still, none of the deities he has imitated have anything against him, and in fact most like to hang around Daffy, given he's a big fan of their work enough to not be too annoying when gushing over them. Particularly he likes Sherlock as one of his idols and occasionally asks to join in on his investigations, though Sherlock knows better than put himself in potential range of the screwball duck's shenanigans.
- Out of the aforementioned jobs, his most iconic one was being the space hero, Duck Dodgers (in the 24th & 1/2 Century!), a pastiche of Buck Rodgers who's a bit of a Genius Ditz. If he's really unlucky, then the flight packs will blow up in his face if he says, "Duck Dodgers" (or even if he has the intent of saying the name out loud). He occasionally remembers NOT to say the name, but more often than not he forgets and gets roasted for his carelessness. Due to his Duck Dodgers persona being a spacefaring adventurer, he's met several deities with similar jobs and adventures as him such as Han Solo, Wander and Lars of the Stars; he also became friends with the Space Express Crew, having already met Zoidberg during one of his many misadventures as Dodgers in the past, he found mostly common ground with Fry due to both ending up frozen for centuries and being woken up in the future before becoming spacefarers. It's also during one of these adventures that he temporarily became the Green Loontern, even helping the Corps defeat a plot of Sinestro's, which made him big enemies with the DC villain for having troubled him while in turn befriending the whole Corps and even Hal Jordan, who introduced him to Ganthet.
- Daffy's stint as Duck Twacy has led to him antagonizing certain criminals and fighting them off any way he can, among those criminals are multiple mob heads from Moriarty, Ratigan, Vito Corleone, Shredder, Kingpin, Jabba the Hutt and even The Joker; the latter whom he's actually personally met first when he was hired for a job which he ended up arrested for and later when he tried to play therapist around him only to end up with Batman's entire rogues gallery after him, though he ultimately beat them with help from a tour bus crashing into Arkham. Batman's enemies have been eager to get the duck in revenge ever since and Daffy himself is more than happy to get back at the Joker and others in turn; while he's tried to ally with Batman and the Bat-Family to fight them off, they know from Commissioner Gordon that it's better to keep Daffy at arm's length at all times.
- Due to his adventures under his aforementioned identity of Duck Dodgers, Daffy has made foes with all evil aliens in the Pantheon, and while his enmity with Marvin is a friendlier one as usual for most Toon rivalries, he is more serious on his opposition to other alien invaders. The main opposition he found was in Zim, the Irken wannabe invader, as Zim has heard of Duck Dodger's reputation and fears he could stand in his way of achieving his supposed mission of conquering Earth for the Irken Empire, Daffy is willing to fight Zim himself in opposition. Other invaders he opposed intensely were the Mars Attacks' Martians as they are even deadlier than the Martians he's faced off against and way eviller in turn, though he tends to get atomized in most encounters with them. Finally, there's the Pod People, as Daffy fell victim to similar aliens on one instance and isn't too happy to have reminders of said bad experience around the Pantheon. Finally, more conventional invaders like the Harvesters and the Mars people, the latter being yet another group of evil aliens from Mars that have threatened Earth over and over. As with all evil aliens, Duck Dodgers is always on the lookout to oppose them... If his laziness doesn't get the better of him. He also met the Daleks a while ago in the form of seeing a captured one during his adventure in Back in Action and is wary of the evil aliens' potential for destruction.
- Contrasting this last part, Daffy gets along well with benevolent aliens, especially those who've helped Earth or have tried to. One of these benevolent aliens was Stitch, who like him also has a mischievous and tricky personality. Daffy mostly gets along with Stitch due to understanding his issues fitting in, given Daffy is often not someone who is welcome among his own kind or other people and despite his air-headedness is aware to a degree of how others perceive him most of the time. Another good alien he got along with is E.T. who crash landed on Earth and just wanted to go back home.
- His personality changes quite a bit. One day, he may be a crazy loon (during such a day, his signature laughter is a clue to start running), the next he will be egocentric. Other times, he can be an idiot who's somewhere in between all these traits (for lack of a better term regarding certain antics). Given his general unpredictability, it's hard to say what his personality of the day will be. Sometimes he'll be so hapless that stronger deities or other Toons can mess with him by using a giant pen to erase or draw things on him like Bugs Bunny once did; but ever since the time
he was able to finally get even with Bugs years later, few deities are willing to provoke Daffy into retaliating for a similar slight, given how Daffy can be even more sadistic and ruthless than Bugs about said paybacks, especially since Daffy has mastered digital art which gives him power over even "CGI" deities, which means that no one is truly safe should he choose to get on with said course of action.
- Duck Dodgers once said that Dave Mustaine was his favorite rockstar and got him and his band Megadeth cryogenically unfrozen to fight Marvin the Martian with The Power of Rock. It took a long time for either of Mustaine's bands, Megadeth and Metallica, to arrive in the Pantheon; and Daffy decided to attend their joint ascension ceremony, dressed as Dodgers. Mustaine invited Daffy and Porky (who was dressed as Eager Young Space Cadet) on stage to perform "Back in the Day
", the very song they played when fighting Marvin.
- Daffy has claimed that the reason he's "daffy, and so gosh-derned riff-raffy, and so screwy and laffy" is because hunters everywhere (from Elmer Fudd to Egghead and even Porky Pig sometimes) won't just leave him alone despite years of trying to hunt him ending in failure. He has contempt for any and all hunters, but especially game hunters as the kind of threats he has to fight off almost all the time in many cartoons; standouts among these hunters are Gaston, as he particularly likes hunting waterfowl for trophies and is also a colossal muscular jerk, not too dissimilar from many threats Daffy's faced over the years, another possible hunter is Rottweiller, who even without that side of him is an abusive pet owner and unlikeable jerk which has made him a preferred target of Daffy's torments, especially by teaming up with Woody to ensure he remains ever tortured for his horrible actions, even letting Rottweiler's pet parrot or even Bugs Bunny lend them a hand in these escapades. Another hunter he has a grudge against is Captain Chantel DuBois, who is known for working at animal control very passionately in regard to capturing and killing animals to mount as trophies, she has heard of Daffy's reputation and seeks to add his head to her collection, something Daffy will fight to the end to avoid.
- Due to this aforementioned hatred of hunters he has mild respect for Hircine, given that the giant stag-like God has a realm where prey can fight back against hunters, while Daffy more often than not doesn't need such help himself, he still likes to exploit said realm to torment his pursuers further, especially if said pursuer is Elmer Fudd, who still tries and hunt him in the Pantheon. That said, he still fears the deity in case he ever got on his bad side and knows better than to engage much with him.
- He's still friends with Michael Jordan in the Pantheon and remains on good terms with the Nerdlucks/Monstars, despite initial friction over the whole incident of the aliens trying to kidnap and enslave him and his fellow Toons. He mostly settles on joining the occasional basketball match from time to time but is more interested in the management side of the sport these days than the field. Another human from the real world who he made friends with was Scatman Jones, as Daffy impressed the scatting master with a session of his own while wearing the "Zoot Suit" at the House of Musicality. He also made an odd camaraderie with Bluto, mainly due to understanding his own issues of anger and being second-best, though a few times Bluto and Daffy clash as well over their egos or Bluto feeling like bullying Daffy.
The Grand Duke of Owls
The Grand Duke of Owls, The God of Ominous Owls (The Duke, Uncle Dukie)

- Intermediate God
- Symbol: His Monocle
- Theme Music: We Hate The Sun
- Alignment: Lawful Evil
- Portfolio: Desires To Bring Everlasting Darkness, Diabolical Dukes, A Polite Exterior Barley Hiding A Rabid Interior, Weakened by the Light, Forcefully Transforming Others, Ominous Opera Cape, Enjoys Mundane Activities, Would Hurt a Child
- Domains: Darkness, Owls, Dukes, Transformations
- Allies: Nightmare Moon, Lord Tirek, Zs'Skayr, Dag, One Eye, Napoleon, The Henpire, Clockwerk
- Enemies: Chanticleer, The Hall of Light and Brightness (Minus Zs'Skayr), Amaterasu, Ra, Otis, Fievel Mousekewitz, Mrs. Brisby, Chip and Dale, Tom And Jerry, The Farmer, Billy Hatcher, Foghorn Leghorn, Owl (Winnie the Pooh), Soren
- Annoys: Wan Shi Tong
- The Grand Duke of Owls is a sadistic owl who hates light with an undying passion. Seeking to blot out the sun so as to bring about an everlasting night, this goal brings him into conflict with the rooster Chanticleer, who's whole job is to crow for the sun to rise. To this end, he hires someone to distract Chanticleer long enough for the sun to rise by itself, humiliating the rooster and forcing him to run off to the city. After arranging for him to get a lucrative music career as to distract him further, he has the sun blocked off and prepares to feast on the remaining farm animals. Fortunately, said animals decided to go on a quest to bring Chanticleer back, recruiting the boy-turned-cat Edmund to guide them. While The Duke tried every dirty trick in the book to stop them, they were ultimately able to bring Chanticleer back and get him to raise the sun again, the lights weakening The Duke into a harmless critter that was last seen being chased by his much abused nephew, Hutch.
- Eventually, The Duke was able to regain his original form, and predictably he started plotting revenge on Chanticleer for his humiliating defeat. However, it didn't take long before he received a mysterious invite by someone that claimed that they were impressed by his scheme, and invited him to a new realm filled with gods with similar goals to his own. Figuring that an opportunity like this was too good to pass up, he happily accepted, and soon he found himself in The Pantheon with the title of Ominous Owls. Ever since then, he's continuously attempted to bring an eternal night to The Pantheon, and while some would dismiss him thanks to his more eccentric mannerisms, he still proves to be a genuinely threat. On a related note, it didn't take long for Chanticleer himself to ascend, and naturally the two weren't happy to see each other at all, let alone in the same hall.
- So to get the obvious out of the way, the Duke hates, hates, hates anything involving light. Part of it stems from him being Weakened by the Light, but for the most part he seems to despise it just because. As such, he's rarely, if ever, seen in the Pantheon during the day, staying within his temple while waiting for the night. He's much more active during the night, which he spends either attempting to keep the night going forever, or just simply hunting for some critters to eat. To his delight, he has encountered more than a few gods who shared his interest in The Night That Never Ends, most vocally being Nightmare Moon, the Superpowered Evil Side to Princess Luna who also happens to be the goddess of such schemes. As such, if she ever attempts yet another eclipse, chances are The Duke would wholeheartedly support her. He's also heard that Tirek attempted to blanket the world in darkness, but that was a different continuity and the one in the Pantheon was a more Take Over the World type. Still, they respected each other's shameless villainy, so as of currently they're on good terms.
- Of course, The Duke is permanently banned from the Hall of Light and Brightness after many, many attempts to destroy it. Of course, its not like he could enter it even if he wanted to: the sheer brightness from the hall is enough to instantly turn him into a more pathetic, smaller form. As a result, he takes a more indirect method of sending minions to do his dirty work. Of course, many gods regularly question how he's gonna pull that off, as while he's no slouch when it comes to powers, the house consists of multiple, actual gods such as Ra and Amaterasu. Even someone like Bright Man could give him a run for his money, as any light is enough to ward him off. Still, the Duke is far too stubborn to let that slow him down. It does help that he has help from the inside in the form of Ghostfreak, who oddly enough was weakened by the same light. He often has him snoop for info on what the house is planning, and while nobody trusts the guy it hasn't stopped him from getting some juicy info.
- When the Duke isn't trying to blot out the sun, he can be seen gleefully hunting down the Pantheon's various critters and animals, which is where he's really dangerous. The Duke take plenty of pride and joy in hunting down and eating anything that's smaller than him, and considering how big he is for an owl pretty much anything's on the table for him. The mice Fievel and Mrs. Brisby, for example, were once nearly victims of The Duke when they went on a nightly stroll unaware of his ascension, though they were thankfully wily enough to evade the Owl and send him packing with a well-aimed flashlight. The Rescue Rangers meanwhile are often called in to stop The Duke from feeding on any defenseless animals, and are more than capable of putting him in his place. Any animal or mouse are often encouraged to at least bring a light source when wandering at night, lest they face the wrath of The Duke.
- And then there was the time he tried to eat Jerry. Having heard absolutely nothing about how surprisingly brutal the little mouse could get, he once tried to eat him as he thought he'd be an easy snack. Big mistake: Jerry retaliated with every cartoon weapon and/or trap you could think of, having heard of the Duke and as a result preparing beforehand. The Duke was eventually gain something of an upper hand during the fight, but that was before Tom joined in on the pummeling, offended that someone other than himself was trying to harm Jerry. This resulted in the biggest beatdown in The Duke's life, and that was before the two pulled out the Cristmas Lights and Nun-chucks. The Duke has since then been plotting revenge on the two for the incident, and anyone who tries to bring that up is instantly transformed into whatever The Duke thinks is funny.
- His sadistic hunting habits have earned him an ally, however. Dag is a coyote that absolutely relishes killing whole barns of animals, to the point of coming across more as a Serial Killer than a mere predator, which of course delighted The Duke. Ever since first meeting while hunting for the same pig, the two have spent whole nights hunting with each other, and while the two often fight over who gets the juicier animal the two have been getting along rather well. Dag even occasionally helps with The Duke's schemes, figuring that eternal night would make hunting much easier. While not quite as close, he and the vicious T-Rex One Eye have also worked together occasionally under the promise of more food, with The Duke saving him for anytime he needs a gigantic dinosaur to kill someone.
- In general, The Duke is shown to despise roosters and chickens of all kinds, both because of their supposed role in raising the sun, and just finding them annoying in general. Technically chief among those, other than Chanticleer of course, is Billy Hatcher, as while he's a kid in a chicken suit, Billy is heavily associated with both chickens and morning itself (his home world is Morning Land, after all) was more than enough to earn his ire. He has attempted to assault his temple with his fellow owls, but Billy's skills with his giant eggs was enough to ward him off. On his off time, he also likes to terrorize Foghorn Leghorn, as The Duke simply finds his endless yammering insufferable. It often takes a bit more effort on Foggy's part to ward off The Duke, though he has caught the Duke off-guard with some of his pranks. And of course, he would do something about Ernie the Chicken, but he's usually so busy fighting Peter Griffin that he figures he'll get himself killed someday, and so is content to just wait for that.
- This hasn't stopped him from allying with the Henpire, a massive army of evil space chickens, however. Unlike most of the other chickens in the Pantheon, they're not only villainous in nature to the point where other chicken deities oppose them, their technology is incredibly advanced to the point where The Duke sought to work alongside them to take advantage of it. In particular is one of the Henpire's greatest and deadliest ships, the Henterprise. What made it so appealing to The Duke was its specialty in bringing planets into eternal darkness and night by unleashing huge piles of giant black feathers to block out the sun completely, which was an outcome that The Duke absolutely favored. Additionally, with the sheer size and scale of their flocks being impractical to oppose, The Duke could care less about their activities on other planets, but if a few straggling space chickens from other battles happen to wander nearby his domain, he's sure the Henpire won't mind if he turned some already doomed flunkies into a snack.
- Most farmers around the Pantheon found out about The Duke's attempted destruction of the farm that Chanticleer lived at, to the point that he had it flooded just to flush out the animals living there so he can eat them. As soon as they heard of that, he was blacklisted from just about every farm in The Pantheon out of fear of him attacking their farms. While The Duke has no real reason to attack any farm, he does so anyways cuz he finds it really fun, and so he can occasionally organized raids on farms just to destroy it. Otis and his friends were some of his first victims, and after that they had to set up an ungodly amount of lights just to keep him from attempting that again.
- As soon as The Duke arrived in the Pantheon, he'd assumed that every Owl in The Pantheon would be like the ones back at his world: a bunch of evil light-haters like him. Naturally, he traveled around trying to recruit as many owls as possible when he came across a startling revelation: not every Owl here was like him, and if anything most of them rejected his offer out of confusing, much to The Duke's frustration. It got worse when he had a chance encounter with the mystical Wan Shi Tong. He attempted to gain access to his bottomless knowledge. but Tong, already sick with others weaponizing his knowledge, immediately refused his request and bluntly told him to screw off. He tried attacking in enraged retaliation, and long story short he's now scared shitless of the spirit. He did eventually find an feathered ally in the form of the cyborg criminal Clockwerk, who impressed The Duke with his ruthlessness in his hatred for the Cooper family. While Clockwerk wasn't interested in his eternal night crusade, he was eventually swayed by his promise to help kill Sly Cooper, and thus Clockwerk has occasionally assisted The Duke whenever he needs extra muscle.
- One of the main reasons why The Duke tried to get rid of Chanticleer? The Duke flat-out hates Rock n' Roll, and Chanticleer's fondness for the genre is a major reason why. A few gods did find it odd that the first thing The Duke did was arrange for Chanticleer to get a lucrative career as an Elvis impersonator, but he claims that was out of necessity and he stayed far away from the city he was performing at. That isn't to say that he hates music itself, quite the opposite actually: he's quite fond of crafting Villain Songs and sung three of them during Chanticleer's little adventure, often to mock his foes as usual for the genre. He even has a personal piano at home for precisely that, often spending entire mornings playing his piano and writing songs for his nightly raids.
Lord Shen (Kung Fu Panda 2)
Lord Shen, God of Proud Peacocks (Peacock)

- Intermediate God
- Symbol: A red and white glyph-shaped like a stylized eye
- Theme Music: Ancient China/Story of Shen
; Shen is Back
- Alignment: Neutral Evil
- Portfolio: Feathered Fiend, Cannons, Ambition Is Evil, Bad Boss, Feather Motif, Evil Genius, a creepy albino peacock, Glass Cannon, Genocide Backfire
- Domains: Birds, Madness, Conquest, War, Ambition
- Followers: Cyber Peacock, Eugenia Ferdinand-Ferdinand
- Allies: Frieza, but only so that they can discuss methods of getting rid of enemies. Aside from that, Clockwerk, Grand Duke of Owls
- Enemies:
- Kung Fu Panda Series: Po, The Furious Five
- Other DreamWorks Animation Deities: Shrek, Jack Frost, Nicholas Saint North, The Penguins of Madagascar
- Others: All panda bears (especially The Panda King), Wolf O'Donnell, Tony Stark, Mewtwo, Lugia & Ho-oh, Sakuya Izayoi, Lea, Falco Lombardi, Daffy Duck, Power Rangers Jungle Fury, Tien Shinhan
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: most evil scientists
- Banned from: the House of Machinery and Technology, the Hall of Explosives
- Complicated relations: the House of Prophecy and Fate, though he has a lot of resentment towards deities that defied fate
- There are plenty of cruel birds that one can encounter and Lord Shen happens to be one of the cruelest. He resided over Gongmen City and discovered that fireworks also function as gunpowder. He tried using this in order to destroy kung fu but was thwarted by Po.
- Shen used to visit the House of Technology a lot. He was banned from there after the Gods discovered that the advanced weaponry enthusiast was trying to glean information in order to perfect his cannons. He has also been banned from the Hall of Explosives for using fireworks as a murder weapon.
- His temple is a tower-palace protected with cannons and a wide selection of high-tech weaponry pillaged from the Technology house. He is fascinated by automated guns such as GLaDOS' turrets and Engineer's sentries, because, unlike regular minions, they are incapable of perceived "betrayal".
- He's having a hard time finding loyal allies nowadays, ever since word got out that he was not above killing not only minions but even loyal friends in fits of rage. For this reason, Wolf O'Donnell particularly avoids him, considering what happened to the last wolf who worked for him.
- Some members of the House of Technology have been on guard and trying to make sure Lord Shen doesn't make any attempts to get back in following the initial ban. Tony Stark and Mewtwo are among the ones from that house who tend to get into conflicts with the peacock whenever he tries to set foot there. Both the Avenger and the Pokémon have mentioned that they find something about him disturbing.
- The peacock has been looking for a way to get into the House of Weapons and Smithing, specifically the Hall of Ranged Weapons. These attempts aren't much better compared to his break-ins at Technology.
- Some of his more unlucky attempts at getting in that house involved battles against members from the Hall of Bladed Weapons, such as Sakuya Izayoi, a knife user like him, or Lea, who's disturbed by him the same reason Tony Stark and Mewtwo are. The peacock is trying to look up ways to get past them for the time being.
- Given that he was defeated by "a warrior of black and white" as foretold by a prophecy, many would think that he would oppose the House of Prophecy. It turns out that back in his world, the Soothsayer, the one who foretold that prophecy, served as whatever conscience he had left of him. Although Shen is determined to make sure he doesn't get defeated a second time, he's been visiting that particular house every now and then, hoping that the prophecy changes for the better of him.
- Given that his attempt to fight his fate was genocide, some think it wasn't just pandas he had exterminated but snow leopards as well. In any case, neither Shen nor Tai Lung have considered working together to exact revenge on Po and the Furious Five.
- Among his most consistent allies are fellow feathered fiends Grand Duke of Owls and Clockwerk. Both had served as his followers while Shen was still the God of Feathered Fiends, even if Clockwerk isn't actually a bird.
- Aside from Po, the heroic DreamWorks deities are in opposition against him. While some would think that the peacock would be allies with fellow villain Pitch Black, it's not really the case. It's commonly believed that Shen's own fears and paranoia would be more prominent than ever if he's near Pitch.
- He has been looking at what some of the items in The Great Treasury are capable of and seeing how much use they would be in his creation of new weapons. Given that he's not allowed near the vault, the most he can do is look at video footage of said items in action.
- Upon word that Shen was looking at Team Star Fox's technology to see what can be done, Falco has started to attack the peacock. The battles usually end with either one retreating if they're badly injured.
- There is a select few who believe that Shen could be redeemed. Unfortunately for them, it's not possible since Shen feels that he's come too far with his actions (he tried to impress his parents back then, but wasn't successful and believed his parents hated him as a result of his actions) and that his drive for evil is only to go deeper as time passes.
- Adding on to that is the fact that his foretold demise could only be prevented if Shen would repent. It's not going to happen anytime soon, since Shen is still convinced that his actions will prevent such a fate.
- Because of this, he has a lot of resentment towards deities that have been able to defy their own fates such as Lucina and Shulk. He believes that if they can defy fate, then so can he.
- Despite the fact that he is proficient with fireworks, he has been using them for harm more often than not. As such, he has been banned from partaking in any celebrations of sorts. The Panda King, in particular hates him with a passion: genocide of the panda kind and using fireworks—which he considers an art form—to use for murdering people (as opposed to him using it to bury villages in snow) makes him utterly DESPICABLE. The first time the Panda King met with Shen, he sent the peacock flying with his patented Flame-Fu. The Panda King also said that Shen reminded him of General Tsao, a misogynistic rooster who kidnapped his daughter, Jing King, and wanted to marry her just to keep her as a breeding partner. Even though though the Panda King failed to cook Tsao alive before his arrest, he will make sure Shen is turned into roast peacock if he should harm any of his allies and especially Jing.
- Is noted to be rather selective on what evil genius to use to help him. If there's a possibility that they might turn against him (usually if they think Shen will cross the line), then chances are Shen will have a hard time working with them.
- Shen also has a temple in the Hall of Prideful Archetypes.
- "And so, the Year of the Peacock begins!"
Wan Shi Tong
Wan Shi Tong, The Divine Owl of Knowledge ("He Who Knows Ten Thousand Things")

- Intermediate God
- Symbol: His library
- Alignment: True Neutral
- Portfolio: Magic Librarian, Giant Flyer, Despises Human Exploitation of his Wisdom, The Omniscient, Scary when angered, Serpent-like Bestial Form
- Domains: Owl, Knowledge, Spirits, Misanthorpy
- Followers: The Great Owl, Longclaw, Zan Owlson
- Allies: Unalaq, Kaepora Gaebora, Owl, Twilight Sparkle, The Admins
- Rivals: Hermaeus Mora, Brainiac, Patchouli Knowledge
- Enemies:
- Avatar series: Aang, Zhao, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, Ozai, Azula, Korra, Tenzin, Bolin, Mako, Asami
- Other: Captain Beatty, Adam Conover, Lord Tirek, Marisa Kirisame, most of the Hall of Fire and Heat
- Opposed by: Belle, Cyrus Albright, Guy Montag, Uncle Chan, Hermione Granger
- Wan Shi Tong, which means "he who knows ten thousand things," is an ancient spirit that owns a vast library that contains countless wisdoms and knowledges. He openly shared this knowledge to humans until he grew to despise humans who want his knowledge for war. As a result, he took his library back into the Spirit World so that nobody will be able to enter his library again.
- Somehow, his great library materializes in the Pantheon with the keeper himself at its roof. At first, Wan Shi Tong refuse to share his library to the humans of the Pantheon as he grew to despise human's exploiting his knowledge for their wars. However, the Court made him reopen his library to the public as some of these folks would never dare to abuse his trust and not use its knowledge to hurt others (and that his tribute for donation of knowledge has also double than the last time Aang was there so it's likely out of spite).
- There are some people that he completely forbids from entering his library: Aang, his friends, and Zhao. Understandable, since Zhao both learned about the Moon Spirit from his knowledge and plotted to kill it (and much of his writings then burned) and Aang betraying his trust by trying to use an eclipse learned from his library to incapacitate the firebenders. Though he considered prohibiting anyone related to the Avatar from entering, out of spite.
- He would show giving stink eyes to anyone who just friends with the Avatar. When Tenzin's daughter, Jinora, entered his library he allowed her to search the library despite his new policy of not allowing humans in. He eventually turned her to Unalaq, believing him to be a true friend of the spirits, unlike the Avatar. When asked if he knew anything about Vaatu and Unalaq's intent, he practically didn't care so long as humans don't come to his library.
- Very protective of his knowledge, he refuses to allow desecrators and thieves from reaching his library. Learning that there is a world where books were burned because they were illegal, this made him very angry. He practically banned everyone with risk of destroying books.
- As he was the the only knowledge spirit in the Spirit World who collects many books and information, he is very envious towards other collectors of knowledge that has no second thoughts of sharing.
- There was once a time when Patchouli Knowledge sends her "sympathies" towards Wan Shi Tong when he caught her constant thief in her library, Marisa Kirisame, trying to steal from his library. Normally, if she wasn't a magical witch that practices magic that is completely foreign to his world, he would have made her his live exhibit in his library.
- He has many spirit fox assistants as his hands, collecting many knowledge from the material world to be added into his collections. That said, they are not the most reliable servants, as much as he doesn't want to admit it. He also find Adam Conover to be very obnoxious since he also correct him on knowledge that isn't accurate.
- Chance of recruiting any of the foxes in the Pantheon? Nil. None of them suits his need for collecting knowledge.
- Consider him the obnoxious know-it-all in regards to his fellow owls with an affiliation with knowledge. Just don't say it to his face.
- His library has many regular visitors, each with his own differing opinion and their opinion of him.
- Cyrus Albright, a curious scholar by trade, believes Information Wants to Be Free and is very disagreeable with Wan Shi Tong. While he agrees that exploiting his knowledge is awful, he also believe that hoarding it all knowledge is not a solution.
- Twilight Sparkle enjoys what Wan Shi Tong's library has to offer, often staying overnight much to his surprise. He is surprisingly sympathetic to her because her original home, the Golden Oak Library in Ponyville, was destroyed during her battle with Lord Tirek.
- Though Belle finds his library fascinating and very expansive compared to Beast's own library, she finds Wan Shi Tong's misanthropy to be very grating.
- Due to how ancient his library is, it is not very accessible for those that have... difficulty reading books. Blindness is certainly a problem, something that Toph could attest too. With that said, his library is much more "accessible" for the disabled as he still wish to collect knowledge that allow overcoming those disadvantages that is for granted in the Pantheon.
- He is fascinated by the Admins, who are said to have vast and untapped knowledge in the universe. Though, he finds it pitiful that he couldn't contain them in his library.
- Iago is heavily disturbed by him, largely because his voice reminds Iago of his bitter enemy, Malcho.
- Also has a temple in the Hall of Intellectual Archetypes.

The Birds (Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds)
The Birds, Unholy Flock of Feathered Fiends

A few members of the massive flock of birds, mostly corvids.

- Birds are well-known for being some of Earth's most majestic and admirable creatures... But not all are quite a happy sight, such as this collective of very aggressive and fierce animals. Composed of many bird species joining together such as ravens and seagulls, this special flock spread terror and fear among humans by attacking all at once in the town of Bodega Bay killing many people. A family attempted to survive their horror in the midst of their onslaught and succeeded. Well mostly, as by the time the birds seemingly stopped their relentless attacks they had already taken over town after killing hundreds, forcing the family to move out to seek a safe place to hide while they could... Only for it to be seen that the birds were on their way to take over the entirety of the USA and perhaps even the world.
- The birds' ascension was chaotic to say the least, flocks of them attacked all houses at once seeking humans to kill or at least force into hiding. Ultimately more powerful Gods had to step in and drive the birds back even killing several to make them surrender by force. Ever since, the birds lie in waiting in their temple, with no one knowing when they will strike again.
- The birds dislike most humans and will turn aggressive on sight, their most hated foe both ways is Ron, a human who's had to deal with flocks of killer birds that were also retaliating against humanity's actions against birds and their treatment of Earth. Ron has made ways to combat their threat, given that he's dealt with deadlier birds before and has much needed expertise in how to get them off himself. Some have rooted for the birds, however, owing it up to Ron being quite the insufferable person.
- Viridi fully supports their crusade, hating humanity's damage to the environment, as such the Goddess has offered to transform them so as to increase their destructive capabilities and let them fully overrun all of humanity. While the birds are yet to accept her offer, most have seen that they're likely to do so. Viridi has even thought of inviting other birds to their cause, though not much response has been had so far. Similarly, the spirit of Earth, Gaea, has been secretly supportive of the birds' quest in her worse days, as she believes that they can avoid making the mistakes of humanity and keep the planet much better than mankind did.
- While they don't really like any human, there's a few that they barely tolerate only to the point of letting them roam in their temple without unprovoked hostility, these are Steve Irwin, Eliza Thornberry, the Planeteers and David Attenborough who have proved to be quite the allies of nature against the harm that mankind is causing. These barely-tolerated human allies all have tried to be something of a bridge between the birds and humans, rationalizing that their methods are wrong to get their points across and that instead their intelligence should be used to raise awareness for the way birds are treated by humans.
- Koba is a bonobo with a burning hatred of humans and all that they stand for, as such the Birds were quite the kindred souls to him. The birds allow Koba free access into their temple, usually letting him roam around and try and communicate their plans with each other. Koba has made sure to "connect" the Birds to allies of his such as the orangutan scientist, Dr. Zaius, who also opposes humanity because he sees them as destructive beasts that ruin everything they enter in contact with, Zaius praised that the birds took effective action to take over the planet and pretty much succeeded at it.
- With her singing being able to blow up birds, Princess Fiona has become one of the bird's sworn enemies and quite a dreaded presence for them all. Fiona has used this to her advantage and others so as to keep them in check and prevent any attacks by threatening to use her singing skills to blow them all up into piles of feathers. Some of the birds' allies are looking into ways to make them immune to the princess' bird-blowing song, though it's been quite a fruitless effort.
- Rick and Morty once had to abandon a reality that ended up overran and ruled by malevolent intelligent squirrels, as such they've been quite wary of facing the birds in any situation, with Rick even considering to call it quits and flee to a different dimension if the Birds ever launch another all-out attack on mankind.
- Their closeness to nature and hatred of humans made the birds gain a somewhat amicable relationship with the Houyhnhnms, who view humans as despicable wild beasts and therefore don't find anything wrong in the birds' crusade for revenge against the atrocities that humanity has done to their kind over the years, however they also don't see much reason to support the birds' crusade besides a lack of desire to interfere out of their own principles. Regardless, both groups are very much diplomatic towards one another and aren't likely to change in that regard anytime soon.
- Guardians of earth who give little of a hoot about humans weren't too worried about stopping the birds' destructive ways, either, viewing them as potentially better replacements for humanity as rulers of Earth. Among these protectors a notable one was Battra, as the moth kaiju has at times even thought of cooperating with the Birds to decimate civilization if humanity starts going past the point of no return with their destructive ways.
- As with all living beings, they are wary of the entity Yapool and the devouring horde of the Gyaos, both threats to all lifeforms with no soul and whose sole presence can cause the birds themselves to either die or feel fear from the power the two entities have. One of the few things that can make the birds cease aggressions on humans in general is if either of the two factors mentioned before were to appear or threaten them.
- The corvid members earned some rivals in the Murkrow Flock, who have not taken lightly to a fellow group of avians who steal things. While neither group has truly entered a conflict, sometimes uproars can be heard as both bird groups growl and screech at each other over either territory or belongings they've found. For what its worth, the Murkrow Flock will at times help defend humans from the birds, intensifying the grudge.
- Punishing, Judge and Big Bird were also capable of making an amicable connection thanks to their roles as natural guardians of the forest who've also resorted to murderous extremes to protect their kind and forest. The bird flock at times is allowed to enter their forest to explore it, while the bird trio in return is allowed entrance into the Birds' temple with no issue either to stroll around or to commute with the flock. Naturally, the Bird trio has thought of aiding their fellow avians' cause, seeing a point in their reasons for attacking and similarities in motivations while at it.
Chanticleer
Chanticleer, God of Roosters that Herald the Dawn (Chantie, The King)

- Lesser God
- Symbol: The Rising Sun
- Theme Music: Sun Do Shine
, Treasure Hunting Fever
, Rock-A-Doodle
, and Come Back To You
- Alignment: Neutral Good
- Portfolio: Farm Boy, Elvis Impersonator, Feather Fingers, Circle of Shame, Broken Pedestal, Sell-Out, Rock & Roll, Loss of Identity, Heroic BSoD, We Really DO Care!, Rebuilt Pedestal
- Heralds: Edmond, Goldie, his two children with Goldie
- Allies: Elvis Presley, Volcarona, Amaterasu, Princesses Celestia and Luna, Utsuho Reiuji, Chibiterasu, Solaire of Astora, Superman, Foghorn Leghorn, Billy Hatcher, Lilo & Stitch, Amigo
- Enemies: The Grand Duke of Owls, Dag, Mr. Burns, Zs'Skayr, other evil members of the House of Commerce
- Opposed By: the Hall of Vampires
- Chanticleer is an entertainer at heart and isn't content with simply staying put in his House. He often travels from House to House to perform, sing, and play music. This lead to an embarrassing incident where he was kicked out of the House of Undead and Phasmata (more specifically, the Hall of Vampires) by accidentally raising the sun with his crowing.
- His favorite place to wander is, of course, the House of Music to perform with his idol Elvis Presley, and sometimes invites fellow Elvis-lovers Lilo and Stitch to join him. Other places he likes to visit are any Houses where other Sun-related deities reside.
- As the heartthrob of many female birds (and a few male ones, too), he's often harangued by a gaggle of girls whenever he steps into the Hall of Birds, hence why he doesn't tend to stick around his own temple for very long. That, and because he can only tolerate being around the Grand Duke of Owls for so long before getting a migraine.
- The fact that Chanticleer already has a wife, Goldie, doesn't seem to stop the avian goddesses from chasing his tail-feathers.
- He and fellow rooster Foghorn Leghorn are good friends, and often go out drinking together. When they get drunk enough, they can make a good karaoke duo. And a good barfighting duo. And a good 'thrown out the front door of the bar' duo. And a good 'banned for life' duo, too! Although, out of the two, only Chanticleer is married, so he has to go it alone as the 'sleeping on the couch' uno.
- He has a good synergy with the Man of Steel, as Chanticleer's ability to keep the sun up helps keep Superman at full power. Both are farm boys, though, and much to the annoyance of anyone teamed up with the two of them a lot of their conversations tend to devolve into dull technical conversations about growing cycles, threshing machines, and the ethics of modern corporate agri-produce practices.
- He and fellow Sun-herald Princess Celestia have equal power over bringing forth the sun, and each will sometimes act in the other's stead whenever the alicorn's magic is weakened or Chanticleer's voice is off. This is especially helpful when Celestia has to deal with Nightmare Moon.
- Another friend of his, Billy Hatcher, often invites him to his home in Morning Land, where he plays free concerts for people. He also sometimes helps Billy against his enemies the Crows, and in return Billy often teams up with Chanticleer to face off against the pair's mutual enemy: the Grand Duke of Owls.
- Because his power to raise the Sun also dispels storms and floods, he's sometimes called up by the GUAG to counteract evil gods who use the weather as a weapon, and to clear the skies so the Alliance's flying gods have a clear path to their target. It also makes him the arch enemy of all basilisks.
- Chanticleer is known by some of the cats from the Hall of Mammals for stepping in to help them fight the Grand Duke of Owls' dastardly schemes against them due to his hatred of cats. Having had a cat as a close friend, he gets along with them very well for someone with feathers.
- Zs'Skayr dislikes him for the same reason as the Duke of Owls: no matter what darkness comes, Chanticleer's crowing can raise the sun back up and dispel it in an instant. As such, he's tried on multiple occasions to have Chanticleer neutralized so his plans for eternal darkness aren't undone. Luckily, Chanticleer has more than enough friends to bail him out of trouble so he can put a stop to the endless night whenever it comes.
- He doesn't have a good relationship with the House of Commerce, having had his talent exploited by a greedy manager during a vulnerable point in his life. As such, he has little tolerance for corrupt corporate executives, and is often the first to volunteer to help bring down toxic monetary entities in the pantheon once they become a major threat.
- It doesn't help that he's especially at odds with one of the more prominent members of the House of Commerce, Mr. Burns, who once tried to block out the sun to an entire town.
- While Chanticleer himself is done with the high life, he doesn't judge those who do pursue it. One of his friends and jam partners, Amigo, has made a great name for himself as a maraca player that let him rise to a life of luxury out of poverty. Even though Chanticleer is happy being a broke farm rooster, that doesn't stop him from enjoying some of Amigo's amenities when he comes to visit.
- His greatest fear is being laughed at, and even in a concert setting where he's at his most comfortable a small goof on his part that causes his audience to giggle is enough to throw him off his game. As such, he sometimes lets his wife Goldie do a song while he collects himself to get back on stage.
Ernie the Giant Chicken
Ernie the Giant Chicken, God of Cocky Roosters

- Lesser God

- Distrusts: The different Terminator models, the House of Time and Temporality
- Uncertain opinion: Wile E Coyote and Sylvester the Cat
- Most long-running characters have an Arch-Enemy; Batman has the Joker, Goku has Frieza and Peter Griffin is no different as his enemy is...a giant chicken. By all accounts Ernie is a normal funny animal, however when he and Peter meet they will immediately get into a massive, destructive and chaotic brawl that all began with an expired couponnote . Ernie is defined by his utter determination, resilience over things that should kill even a cartoon character, and being a cocky aggressive cocknote . He's Peter's very literal sitcom arch-nemesis...but doesn't actually fall under the Sitcom Arch-Nemesis as the two consider their feud Serious Business.
- Even for a cartoon character Ernie stands as legendarily resilient. He has been stabbed, hanged, chopped up to bits, drowned and even roasted to death but will always recover off-screen after an Eye Awaken. He'd be considered for an honorary position in the Forms of Immortality, but they disagreed saying he needed Toon Physics to achieve it. Despite his and Peter's feud causing a lot of pain for the two of them they're able to keep their families out of it: his son goes to the same preschool as Stewie and Ernie doesn't hold anything against Lois or other members of the Griffin family. He's somewhat grateful for Lois as she convinced Peter to save his life from bird flu; Peter gave him CPR because he LIKES their fighting and Lois made him realize their fights give him motivation in life. That, and he doesn't want to be solely responsible for any financial damage caused.
- There's a timeline where the Griffins are he's a pheasant. Being British seems to have made them less temperamental as Neville and the Giant Pheasant were content with a slap fight and compliments afterwards.
- Homer was rather flippant that Peter called Ernie his Arch-Enemy, saying "I thought I was your Arch-Enemy!" to him, only for Peter to say "eh, you've got the bronze". For those wondering, the silver goes to Carter Pewterschmidt. Ernie had heard he and Peter had a chicken fight and he wanted to meet Homer at Moe's. The two had a drink together and discussed their past adventures, where he learned Homer also has arch-enemies; (the deceased) Frank Grimes, Patty and Selma and Mr Burns (there's Flanders, but it's more a jealous rivalry/Vitriolic Best Buds thing). Except for "Grimey" Homer's enemies are capable of being friendly as he and Selma will sometimes help each other with their issues and once in a while Mr Burns will be chill with Homer. Ernie found he enjoyed Homer's company as he's not as much of a jerk as Peter and is more easy going.
- His time visiting Springfield led Ernie to meet up with Ned Flanders. Despite being his new friend's Sitcom Arch-Nemesis and Ned not approving of his own chaotic conflict, he and the chicken are relatively cordial to one another; occasional fundamentalism aside, Ned is such a contrast from Peter he considers the guy a nice change of place. Ned was a bit surprised to learn his and Peter's feud re-started over Outhumbling Each Other paying for a dinner.
- Neither Ned nor Homer expected that he also had the misfortune of dealing with a "Terminator" (well, a Peter copy being a ersatz of one) blowing his head off. While the actual Terminators couldn't care less about a giant chicken besides mild surprise at Ernie's apparent immortality, Ernie can never trust them. Ernie distrusts the House of Time and Temporality as well, but not because of any Terminator shenanigans; when Peter meddled with the timelines it led to him accidentally punching Ernie 20 years early, muddling their feud (though his friend stopped him fighting there). There's also the possibility that Griffins fighting chickens might just be In the Blood for them, as Peter's great-grandfather Juarez Griffin was a cockfighternote .
- Peter was under the impression that Ernie would get along swimmingly with Clockwerk and Lord Shen. The former is so utterly driven by his hatred of the Cooper clan he's become a nigh-immortal machine, and the latter fits an archetype of prideful birds...that of the peacock. However while Ernie admits to understanding their lingering grudges and hubris, he's only evil in his reckless bouts with Peter; He considers the two villains and not worth his time. On the flip side, Peter called it that Foghorn Leghorn and Ernie would get along. Foghorn is a more famous Cocky Rooster (though with his own trope) and quite the loudmouth. Ernie admits he's more of a dick than he is, but he's also hilarious and his son loves watching his antics. Ernie was interested in another Cocky Rooster too, due to their great power; Tapu Koko. OK, Tapu Koko is rooster-like instead of being a full bird but it's a capricious and fickle bird-like Blood Knight from the Poke-equivalent of Hawaii. Ernie plans to learn more about the Tapus when he gets to go on vacation in Alola.
- Eggman's passive feud with Ernie is one of his sillier/light-hearted foes, though this only applies to his "AOSTH" incarnation as the others couldn't care less. You see, that Robotnik wanted the Cocky Rooster trope to be represented by Scratch. While fitting in some regards, Ernie pointed out that Scratch is a robot while he's 100% real bird and wondered why he'd care about a "nincombot" getting a position. Robotnik's response was "he's MY nincombot!" and stormed off. He also has a one-sided feud with Beavis and Butthead as the innuendo-loving teens could not resist making jokes about Ernie being a giant cocknote . While this does hurt his pride, outside of the manslaughter he and Peter cause he's usually a normal guy and they're still kids so he only intimidates and makes fun of them instead of getting into a chicken fight.
- According to Dr Hartman he spearheaded a failed cloning project to clone a chicken, but created a hostile, man-sized chicken. Due to this origin, Ernie has a pending status as an honorary member of the Hall of Clones and Counterparts, though he doesn't intend to use it. Dr Bright of the SCP Foundation thinks Hartman might've had some communication with whoever/whatever made SCP-3199
. In case you're wondering, the Cocky Rooster wasn't pleased to learn about the SCP.
Ernie: "What the fuck is that?! Seriously, WHAT?!" - Ernie heard a rumor that the cloning program that created him might have ties to a Mad Scientist that found a roadkill chicken and turned it into a cyborg to watch a bunch of skits. No truth to those rumors was ever found, but what was found was a new ally in the form the Robot Chicken. Best showcased when he broke out of his containment and went off to find his wife, the bio-mechanical fowl can really kick ass. As a married rooster himself Ernie can respect the effort he went into saving his woman, and joined the Robot Chicken with open wings. Together they formed "the Coop D'etat"note , an alliance to protect fellow birds from harassment.
- After forming the Coop D'etat Ernie and the Robot Chicken reached out for Chanticleer's support. They aren't the kind of rooster who crows with the rise of the sun but like any chicken worth their salt they like their day-night schedules the way it is. Chanticleer accepted this alliance, but they need to prove they aren't chickens in the derogatory sense by standing firm against the Grand Duke of Owls. Since Ernie refuses to give up even when he should be dead, he only laughed and clucked at the idea he had an ounce of cowardice in his white meat. To strengthen the Coop D'etat even further, Ernie had another Cocky Rooster join his side as the firearms specialist of the group; Panchito. The Life of the Party agreed but only on the condition that Jose had to be made a member, even if he's a parrot and not a rooster.
- While easy-going Ernie does have someone other than Peter who sets off his Berserk Button; Colonel Sanders. Three words; Kentucky Fried Chicken. Colonel Sanders tried to explain that he doesn't cook sentient chickens, however Ernie recalls the time Colonel Sanders decapitated Foghorn Leghorn
. In his defense it was a Cutaway Gag but Ernie still hates him on principle of being a chicken. This led to the two getting into their own chicken battle, only for Peter to come to rescue with a lawyer he felt the Colonel was ripping off "my thing". The case was dropped after Colonel Sanders promised Peter a free take-out, who was nice enough to not eat it in sight of Ernie.
- He's not sure where to stand on Wile E Coyote. On one hand, he is trying to eat a fellow bird, but on the other he's so bad at it he can't help but feel pity for the coyote. He has the same view on Sylvester too. He's a lot less sympathetic to Dag, who prides himself on being the nastiest predator you've EVER seen. He's pretty open about wanting to eat Ernie and have his son for dessert, leading to Ernie beating the ever-loving shit out of the coyote. Dag was lucky to slink away and not mention his "chicken feet trophy" or Ernie would've killed him.
- Scrooge McDuck sees him as as the good counterpart to his Arch-Enemy Flint Glomgold; Scrooge cheaped out and gave him a dime instead of a dollar for shining his shoes. The young duck felt so insulted that he swore to be better than Scrooge ever since, even acting like a Scottish man despite being from South Africa. Meanwhile Peter got in his face all over an expired coupon, and later over who pays a bill, and this petty squabble ballooned similarly to Flint and Scrooge. However while Flint became truly villainous, at worst Ernie is merely apathetic to the damage his fights with Peter cause, and even those fall under "cartoon logic" and the Rule of Funny while Flint's actions have plot relevance. Personally Ernie doesn't see a reason to get involved, but he did consider how he might become like Flint if he didn't have a life outside of fighting Peter.
- Despite him and Peter being sworn enemies, they aren't incapable of pulling an Enemy Mine. The two refuse to let anyone else try to kill the other since only they can try to kill each other. Both will put asides their differences to fight Eric Cartman and Judge Doom. The latter sees any toon as something to be exterminated despite being one himself, and what's worse is that he has The Dip-one of the few substances that can truly kill a toon, something not even Peter and Ernie could recover from. As for the former, it's simply because he hates anything connected to Family Guy and considers the feud between the two as the epitome of what he hates about it.
- Because of how angry he can get, Ernie's therapist has advised that he avoids interacting with Donald Duck and Dan. Dan is an easily pissed off and determined to get revenge on whoever pissed him off, and may not stop with just a chicken fight. Donald isn't as quick to anger, but his Unstoppable Rage is the thing of legends and with their combined toon logic it could end up as a bloodier chicken fight than even the ones he has with Peter. Despite this, Donald still ended up meeting Ernie since they reserved the same table unintentionally. Brian was acting as a waiter and mediating the two so instead of fighting they were able to discuss their anger issues and talk about bird stuff they agreed on, leading to them getting along. As it turns out, Brian orchestrated this meeting. Why? He wanted to neutralize a potential future feud for the sake of his friend Peter, who believes Ernie should only be his rival and not Donald. Peter rewarded Brian with a belly rub.
- He once parodied Boba Fett in the show's Family Guy parody, since Peter was parodying Han Solo. Ernie sent Boba a letter on what he thought of his performance, but never got a reply. Ernie himself got a letter from the Court of the Gods saying they would prefer him and Peter try to limit their rampage to the House of Fighting and Combat. However they made a mistake in getting Peter and Ernie to mutually agree on this; their attempts at not squabbling broke down into yet another epic chicken fight which led to many houses in disarray.
- In Season 23's "The Chicken or the Meg", Meg Griffin began dating Ernie's son Nugget. Despite Ernie’s brutally violent history with Peter, the giant chicken welcomed Meg into the family with open wings — that is, until another chance encounter led him to give Meg an ultimatum: either cut ties with Peter or stop dating Nugget. This didn’t sit well with Meg, who realized that Ernie was just as bad as her own father — possibly even worse — and proceeded to decapitate him, leaving his headless body to run around the front yard for a few seconds before finally slumping over.

- Domains: Corvids, Cons
- Allies: The Murkrow Flock, Woody (Neighbours from Hell) (at times Vitriolic Best Buds)
- Rivals: Daffy Duck, Popo & Nana, Edgar & Ellen, Screwy Squirrel, Cecil Turtle
- Enemies: Judge Doom, Psy-Crow, Peter & Paul, Mr. Rottweiler
- Distrusted by: Billy Hatcher, Drinky Crow
- Heckle and Jeckle are a pair of magpies that always stick together and have traveled through many different settings. Their main schtick is being tricksters and con artists, able to overcome whatever adversary they’re facing and having fun at their victim’s expense. Both appear identical to each other, but one has a British accent and the other has a New York accent. While they are often self-serving con artists, there have been instances where they have gone up against a genuine antagonist and have sometimes just done good deeds in general, though sometimes said good deeds don’t work out the way they intended it to be.
- It was pretty much any other day for Heckle and Jeckle when they arrived at a boarding platform for something alongside a random person holding some sort of item likely connected to such. As the guy in charge of checking tickets wasn’t around, the magpies took advantage of what’s happening by pretending to be said ticket guys so that the person holding the ticket could make a move. When given the ticket, the disguised Heckle and Jeckle claimed that the person was holding a counterfeit ticket and that the person had to report to someone else regarding the matter. It didn’t take long for the person to leave without their ticket and Heckle and Jeckle entered the train with that ticket with them. The hapless person ended up getting taken away from the station for holding a counterfeit item despite not having it with him at that moment, leaving the magpies to enjoy their time inside the vehicle. The person in charge of tickets was surprised to see magpies instead of the specific person that actually got the invite for a place known as the Pantheon, but when asked if there was anything for Heckle and Jeckle, arrangements were made and the two magpies settled down at that place and continued their line of work conning others.
- The Murkrow Flock was a group that Heckle and Jeckle took interest in thanks to the fact that not only are they corvids, but they also enjoy having fun at the expense of others. The Alpha of the Flock found something odd about another pair of corvids, especially ones that can talk and made it clear that it’s not giving up its position as leader anytime soon. Heckle and Jeckle noticed the Alpha’s wariness of them and made a ploy involving the Flock that Heckle and Jeckle con unsuspecting people to distract them while the Flock steals things, with the Flock giving an item or two to Heckle and Jeckle. The first time this plan was attempted, as the Flock was stealing some items, the person asked if the Murkrow were friends of Heckle and Jeckle, prompting the two to get out and evade that angry person. The Flock found the two Magpies to be good at providing a distraction and has asked them a number of times to help out with the Flock’s usual thieving, often in the role as con artists that distract the victim(s) of the Flock’s current theft.
- Psy-Crow was another corvid that caught their attention, but not in a positive way thanks to their first meeting. Psy-Crow was looking for other subordinates in his quest to defeat Earthworm Jim and seeing the two and their trickery, he entertained the idea of having a couple of corvids work for him. Heckle and Jeckle weren't that interested in Psy-Crow’s offer, which angered the latter to the point of trying to attack the two personally before abandoning them. The two magpies didn’t take this lying down and following that sour meeting, Heckle and Jeckle have regularly used their tricks to get back at Psy-Crow and such actions are usually seen by the Pantheon as some of the duo’s more comparatively altruistic moments if they aren’t conning others.
- Heckle and Jeckle spent some time in a bar going over their next plan when they encountered a corvid by the name of Drinky Crow, who wanted a drink following some sort of bizarre incident. The duo struck up a conversation with Drinky, who bemoaned how things never went right for him, prompting Heckle and Jeckle to come up with something that would make Drinky happy. What followed was a really strange adventure for Heckle and Jeckle given how many of Drinky’s ordeals were very unorthodox and violent, and this particular incident was no different for Drinky. It ended with Drinky not being better off than he was before and he told Heckle and Jeckle to stay out of his way, seeing them as liabilities. Not helping matters is how Drinky was basically an unwitting pawn to Psy-Crow’s mayhem, resulting in Heckle and Jeckle making unsuccessful attempts to try and get Drinky away from Psy-Crow and his potentially corruptive influence.
- Billy Hatcher has fought against corvids that tried to inflict an unending night and given how the other corvids in the Pantheon are generally antagonistic, he had his reasons to be wary of Heckle and Jeckle once he encountered the pair. The way Heckle and Jeckle talked to him made it sound like they were tricking him despite the fact that the duo were genuinely less malicious than other corvids that Billy has gone up against. Heckle and Jeckle even gave Billy some sort of egg as proof that they meant no harm to the kid and Billy ended up making the egg grow to see if something would come out of it. Nothing of use or harm came out of the egg the magpies gave Billy, only a note that claimed Heckle and Jeckle were not bad guys, which only made Billy more wary of the duo even if the magpies were telling the truth about themselves.
- One of the duo’s adventures involved using their imagination to outwit a cop, only for the latter to do the same thing in order to catch the magpies. Given the assortment of law enforcers in the Pantheon with varying temperaments, Heckle and Jeckle have used their wits to prank the more dim-witted officers and evade the more competent ones that are trying to catch anyone they deem criminal, regardless of whether their targets deserve to be arrested or not. As for their imagination, Heckle and Jeckle have sometimes used it to their advantage in other scenarios for things to go their way, but as they would find out, the Pantheon contained individuals who had imaginations that were more lively than the duo could believe. If Heckle and Jeckle did get caught by that cop once, they’re going to make sure that someone’s imagination isn’t going to best theirs should such encounters happen.
- Heckle and Jeckle are both toons, despite being part of their own distinct family akin to how others like Bugs Bunny and his ensemble have their own distinct toon label. This led to the duo engaging with others of their type in various battles of wits, with Daffy Duck often getting caught in such conflicts. Whether he’s acting like a hyperactive maniac or being a selfish individual, Daffy hasn’t had the best of luck against Heckle and Jeckle, but the magpies have had their own problems against others such as Screwy Squirrel and Cecil Turtle, due to an over-the-top attitude and being much more crafty than what the turtle presents himself as respectively. When it comes to being a toon, that also meant animosity towards the toon-hating Judge Doom, who happened to be a toon despite his stated hatred of them and was more than willing to destroy them to fulfill his goals. Heckle and Jeckle remarked that Judge Doom looked like someone who would employ other corvids to do his bidding (even though he uses weasels), but that didn’t change the fact that Judge Doom is someone that needs to be out of the picture no matter what.
- Besides toons, Heckle and Jeckles have used their trickery against others, often leading to events that get out-of-control and sometimes not end in the magpies’ favor. Edgar and Ellen were another pair of tricksters that the magpies decided to mess around with, often claiming that there’s some other junkyard that contains better items for the kids to use (though these are just part of the tricks Heckle and Jeckle use as these locations lead to nowhere and if there’s items, they’re useless), tricks that Edgar and Ellen caught on to and resulted in them seeing the magpies as another rival in the field of pranking. The magpies also encountered Woody after watching an episode of the show the latter starred in where he put his bad neighbor Mr. Rottweiler through humiliating events and Heckle and Jeckle wanted to get involved with that show in some capacity. As the magpies used words to put Mr. Rottweiler through degrading scenarios in addition to physical comedy, Woody decided to let the magpies stick around to help him humiliate Mr. Rottweiler further, even though Heckle and Jeckle are prone to tricking Woody off-camera with a variety of over-the-top promises that never get fulfilled.
- Heckle and Jeckle always stick together no matter what happens, similar to many a good duo and such dynamics are no different in the Pantheon where the magpies discovered other inseparable duos for them to amuse themselves with. Given how a condor has taken the Ice Climbers’ vegetables, the magpies sometimes go to mountain peaks (some of which aren’t as cold as the ones Popo and Nana scale) with some vegetables to enjoy and get caught up in scuffles with the Ice Climbers (who find Heckle and Jeckle a bit more annoying than that condor and other regular obstacles they encounter scaling mountains) as a result of such. Other duos such as Peter and Paul are much more antagonistic than the magpies and it’s through them that they deliver a bit of toon-flavored trickery on them. Given how Peter and Paul trap victims in sadistic games (even if their signature trick is diminished somewhat in the Pantheon given that world’s more unusual nature), Heckle and Jeckle are willing to harass the two men and put them in a game of their own, often using toon physics to counter that remote the two use.
- One of the duo’s more unsuccessful plans involved attempting to set up a talk show with themselves as hosts. Looking to try and revive that scheme believing the Pantheon would be more open to unrealized ideas, Heckle and Jeckle were able to book themselves as a guest on a different talk show hosted by a different toon by the name of Space Ghost. When Heckle and Jeckle brought up their proposed show to Space Ghost, the superhero was getting agitated, not helped by the fact that his co-workers Zorak and Moltar (the latter moreso) were heckling Space Ghost, mainly by joking about how a talk show hosted by magpies would be a bigger success than what SG is doing at the moment. As the interview dragged on, SG got distracted and ended up firing his laser throughout the studio, not only hitting Zorak like usual, but the screen that Heckle and Jeckle was on and at the end of the day, the magpie’s proposal for a talk show got rejected again, much to the duo’s disappointment.

- Enemies: Jafar (his former boss), Othello, The Hyenas, Sylvester, The Grand Duke of Owls, Lord Shen
- Opposed by: The House of Law and Justice
- Iago served as the herald of Cassim, who he joined as a travelling partner, and the Pantheon decided to turn him into a deity of his own. They decided to recognize how he's a blatant cases of a bird with teeth, done to make him resemble his voice actor
◊ Gilbert Gottfried.
- Jafar was more than livid witnessing his former lackey who eventually caused his death ascend, and is trying to get revenge, in spite of how genies can't directly cause a death.
- Along with Aladdin's crew, another group that warmed up on Iago in spite of having to fight him at first was Sora, Donald and Goofy, who Iago helped save from a bunch of Heartless upon their return to Agrabah.
- Is always plotting schemes to get rich with the help of housemate Murkrow, to Aladdin's chagrin and putting the macaw under the perpetual vigilance of the House of Justice. In the meantime, Iago loves visiting the House of Commerce for inspiration.
- Does not like to share a house with The Grand Duke of Owls and Lord Shen, as he might be greedy, but draws a line on destruction and takeover - those were Jafar's domains, after all.
- For all that is holy, don't try to feed him crackers. Iago will probably try to shove them down your throat.
- After getting acquainted with Daffy Duck, Iago was introduced to Bugs Bunny, who he easily got along with for a similar trickster\deceptive nature. But shortly afterwards Sylvester attempted to eat Iago, making him give up on meeting the rest of the Looney Tunes. The Hyenas of The Lion King also pursue Iago, as he seems to be meatier than Zazu.
- Given his name and troublesome nature, Othello naturally hates him. Ironically, Iago once mentioned he has a twin brother named Othello. And regarding the Shakespearian character who he's named after, Iago is impressed at how successful he was in being a Manipulative Bastard, but thinks he goes too far.
- Ever since Abu ascended, Iago is happy to spend time again with his monkey friend... if only because Abu is easy to convince whenever Iago has a zany scheme or just a kleptomaniac intention.
Sgt. Byrd
Sgt. James Byrd, God of Flying Flightless Birds

- Lesser God
- Symbol: His helmet and BAM Rocket Launchers
- Theme Music: Sgt. Byrd's Theme
(Reignited version
)
- Alignment: Lawful Good
- Portfolio: Flying Penguins, Death from Above, Glass Cannon, Uses rockets as his main form of attack, Officer and a Gentleman, The Stoic
- Domains: Penguins, Flying, Soldiers, Birds, War
- Allies: Spyro, Sparx, Hunter and Bianca, Agent 9, Crash Bandicoot, The Madagascar Penguins, Hubie and Rocko, James Bond, Tinkerbell, Caesar, DJ Grooves
- Enemies: The Sorceress, Ripto, Gnasty Gnorc, Malefor, Neo Cortex, Napoleon, Lord Fredrik, Acnologia, Denzel Crocker, Dag
- Opposes: Moneybags, Salamence
- Sgt. James Byrd is the leader of Hummingbirds' Air Corps that opposed the Sorceress and he was one of the many denizens that got captured until Spyro freed him and he joined the dragon in his quest to retrieve all the stolen dragon eggs, easily becoming one of Spyro's most trusted allies. He is also a flying penguin, something that normally would be impossible for one of his kind but he is able to do it anyway, which got him a position in the pantheon after his friend Spyro casually mentioned that he knew a flying penguin, which the Court of Gods took notice of and quickly brought him in from examination.
- While he has a jetpack, Sgt. Byrd is able to defy his species' biology and fly with his flippers. The Madagascar Penguins were quite interested in this, and were further pleased that he shares a similar cunning operative personality to them. They are also rather amicable penguins.
- Is rather understanding of Leafa's desire for flight and is helping instruct her on improving her flight. He doesn't think it's too hard, given he achieved it as a penguin. Salamence, however, soon proved unpleasant to Sgt Byrd since the former ended up using the gift of flight to be a Jerkass to everyone.
- With Sgt. Byrd's ascension came new and old foes of Spyro who considered him and his friends extensions of "The Spyro Problem". Gnasty Gnorc wasn't that fearsome to Byrd, but Malefor proved a much more fearsome foe. Neo Cortex is working with Ripto to deal with each other's enemies.
- Despite being a penguin, Sgt. Byrd doesn't have any noted preference to cold. He does have a distaste for evil walruses and seals, as Lord Frederik found out when the former was given a mission to stop some rampage. Napoleon doesn't like how he resembles a British agent, and has used that supposed resemblance for his anti-human propaganda, despite not ''really'' caring about him anyway. Byrd has sided with Caesar against the tyrant pig.
- A spoof of various secret agents, as he tends to speaks with a British accent and is an Officer and a Gentleman. Naturally, he gets along with James Bond himself, though has no interest in being The Casanova like him as he's already engaged. The two make a peculiar fighting pair whenever it's in their best interests to team up.
- His girlfriend Isabelle is a fairy, and Sgt Byrd has no problem with that. Anyone who's racist against fairies and/or penguins will get a dirty look from the penguin. He has a good relationship with the Hall of Fairies, mainly Tinkerbell as she's the fairy most similar to the ones he knows.
- Denzel Crocker tried to steal Isabelle due to his obsession with FAIRIES! and deluded belief that any of them will grant him the magical power he desires. When pointed out that only applies with FAIRY! GOD! PARENTS! Denzel stated that "well how do you think a penguin learned to fly and talk without FAIRY! GOD! PARENTS!", before being blasted away with Sgt. Byrd's rockets.
- He felt bad about the Prinnies since they keep getting abused a lot. However, he became more hesitant to help them when he learned they actually house the souls of past murderers, thieves, and other criminals/sinners; it doesn't help that Skipper and co. are irrationally defending them. Dag the coyote earned his scorn not just for being a heartless savage animal, but also allying with Napoleon. Dag's not looking to eat a penguin anytime soon, but he knows that when and if he does, Sgt. Byrd will be a hassle to face.
- DJ Grooves is very much a more laid-back penguin than Sgt. Byrd, but the two of them get along just fine. The disco-obsessed Moon Penguin was just happy to see good-hearted fellow penguins up here in the Pantheon.

- Soren is a Barn owl and one of the famous Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Born to good parents, his older brother Kludd in contrast was rotten to the core and kicked him out of the nest while Soren was still a flightless owlet. Soren was then captured by the St. Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls (St. Aggie's for short), who were really a warmongering cult that kidnapped defenseless owlets to brainwash them into unthinking, personality-free soldiers. While there, Soren met an Elf owl, Gylfie, who would become his best friend as the two hatched a plan to escape, which they managed to do after learning to fly. Outside, they joined with a Great Gray called Twilight and a Burrowing owl called Digger, who also suffered at the talons of St. Aggie's; that commonality led to them becoming a family of sorts. They traveled to the Great Ga'Hoole Tree, hoping its knightly Guardians could stop St. Aggie's evil. The four were given a high-quality education at the tree and gradually inducted as Guardians, but in the meanwhile a new threat emerged: the Pure Ones, a group of Barn owls that saw their species as superior to all other owls and aimed for domination. Kludd was also discovered to be not only part of the Pure Ones, with his attempted murder of Soren serving as his rite of initiation into the group, but he had become their leader. Kludd's bloodthirst notwithstanding, Ga'Hoole's diversity and wealth of knowledge allowed them to triumph over the Pure Ones and St. Aggie's, who suffered for their ignorance and lack of creativity, a result of their oppressive ways.
- Some time after these events, Soren met his nephew Coryn, the son of Kludd and Nyra and the rightful king of Ga'Hoole after finding the Ember of Hoole. Despite his parentage, Coryn had a strong sense of morality and was a good ruler. Nyra had raised him in the Pure Ones ideology in hopes that he would succeed his dead father as leader, but Coryn's gift of firesight allowed him to see the truth and he ran away instead of following in his parents' footsteps. Soren and Coryn kept fighting against Nyra and the Pure Ones. After reading the legends of Hoole, the first king, they had the shocking realization that Nyra was really a hagsfiend, a demonic bird species thought to have gone extinct after Hoole waged war against them. And across the vast sea no owl dared fly over, they discovered another owl kingdom: the Middle Kingdom, or Jouzhen, where all the owls were blue and so-called dragon owls were pampered due to their flightlessness. One of these dragon owls, the Striga, grew to despise the lifestyle and sought a life of simplicity, leading him to Ga'Hoole after he saved one of Soren's daughters from a storm. The Striga's desire for a simple life soon evolved into a religious fundamentalism contrary to the values of Ga'Hoole, even if he briefly managed to get Coryn on his side by taking advantage of his traumatic childhood. The Striga was soon enough expelled from the tree, upon which he joined forces with Nyra. The dragon owls turned out to be dormant hagsfiends all along and they were once again defeated in a war that also took Coryn's life, as he sacrificed himself to kill Nyra once and for all. Soren succeeded him as king of the Great Ga'Hoole Tree.
- As the owl world finally saw a time of prolonged peace and rapid technologic development (both initiated by Coryn's reign and continued by Soren's), a letter from a mysterious sender arrived that was directly addressed to Soren and told of a new world where his presence was requested. Accompanied by the rest of the Band (Gylfie, Twilight and Digger), Soren set out to investigate and see for himself whether this was another Middle Kingdom scenario or something else entirely. That second possibility was the correct one, for the place the Band alighted in was the Pantheon. The first being to greet them was the Greek goddess Athena, who was also the one to write the letter asking for Soren to come, her main reason being her association with owls; she is especially glad that the owls of Ga'Hoole represent her domains of wisdom and strategic warfare so well, and so felt they were more than deserving of being represented in the Pantheon. Soren was very flattered by Athena's regard for his kind and fascinated with the wealth of knowledge that the Pantheon seems to harbor, so he accepted being instated as a god, hoping he can learn new things and bring them back to Ga'Hoole to advance the owl world even further.
- Following the last battle against Nyra and the Striga, which saw the Ga'Hoolian owls ally with an unprecedented amount of different species, Soren likes to be on the best terms possible with the variety of animals that exist in the Pantheon. Making friends with fellow woodland dwellers was obvious enough, leading to an unlikely but solid friendship with the cat Firestar, once the leader of the ThunderClan cats, who once mentioned that the second leader ever of the Clan took inspiration from owls to develop his hunting skills and became known as Owlstar, reinforcing Soren's belief that different species have a lot to teach each other. Both Clan cats and Ga'Hoolian owls are big believers in showing respect to one's prey, and while on that subject, Soren is not about to make a meal out of Hazel or any of the rabbits of Watership Down, partly out of respect for one rabbit who was a webreader (another kind of seer) and aided Coryn many times, even dying while doing so. Hazel has never heard of such a thing as webreading, but he's glad to have Soren's consideration. Nor would Soren ever attack Mrs. Brisby after hearing of her immense courage in going to talk to an owl so she could get information to help her family.
- Soren was initially amazed by everything about Wan Shi Tong, believing him to be an envoy from Glaumora (not entirely wrong, as Wan Shi Tong comes from the Spirit World), and Wan Shi Tong allowed Soren to frequent the library in honor of their shared species and Soren's high estimation of the value of knowledge, but as Soren told him more about his world, Wan Shi Tong came to believe the owls of Ga'Hoole were as bad as humans in how they used the knowledge they acquired to better wage war and ran Soren out of his library before he could use it for such ends. Soren can't agree with Wan Shi Tong's point of view as he believes that war is sometimes necessary to protect the things that matter, including the very knowledge both he and Wan Shi Tong value so much. Nor does Soren find it particularly fair of Wan Shi Tong to solely focus on the bad and ignore all the good things that can be done and have been done with knowledge as well.
- As much as Soren and the rest of his kind enjoy nighttime and especially relish the long nights of autumn and winter, he would never want to take away daytime from the world when there are creatures that prefer it. That's why Soren could never ally himself with the Grand Duke of Owls, who wants the world to have neverending nighttime. Not only is that monstrously selfish to Soren but also, owls' sleeping cycles would go topsy-turvy. He's also thinking of all the daytime creatures that have allied with the owls of Ga'Hoole, such as wolves and polar bears, who prefer daytime activity. Even the accursed crows, who tend to mob owls active during the day, deserve having their own time. The Grand Duke of Owls is, as you might guess, heavily disappointed in Soren and considers him to be a traitor to their species. Soren (and many others) would argue that there is such a thing as too much of a good thing and that thinking of the wellbeing of other species isn't treasonous at all.
- Soren's bad luck with ascended owls continues with Clockwerk, whose existence revolves around his obsessive hatred and envy of the Cooper Clan. Just for the sake of antagonizing the Cooper Clan forever, he's even turned himself into a metallic, immortal monstrosity, which to Soren is like the next level of Metal Beak, the identity his evil brother Kludd went by as leader of the Pure Ones, owing to a metal mask that covered his face. That association, unintentional though it may be, doesn't exactly recommend Clockwerk to Soren or the owls of Ga'Hoole, who go even further and find Clockwerk to be very much like a hagsfiend due to his heightened powers and sheer malice.
- Other birds that Soren heavily suspects are hagsfiends with a different name are the trio of Punishing Bird, Judgment Bird, and Big Bird. These three started out with good intentions as they wanted to prevent their forest home from being destroyed by a monster, but in their zealousness they ended up becoming ruthless judges and executioners of anything they deemed to be a danger. Then they started thinking they weren't powerful enough on their own, fused into one gigantic bird and ironically became the very monster whose arrival they were trying to prevent. Soren finds the three birds tragic and their story a good cautionary tale against missing the big picture while trying to do good. At any rate he steers clear of their forest lest they target him as well.
- Humans have been extinct for thousands of years in Soren's world, to the point where they are only known as "the Others". Remnants of their achievements continue to exist, such as buildings owls like to nest on, pieces of technology and, of course, books. The owls, particularly those of Ga'Hoole, have learned how to adapt some human inventions into their everyday lives to greatly improve them, so they usually have great respect for how ingenious humans could be. Unlike Soren's world, the Pantheon is certainly not lacking for humans and meeting a variety of them has made Soren realize that humans aren't a perfect species and maybe owls aren't too different from them. Soren would overall say he still likes humanity, which is why he's vehemently opposed to the murderous avian swarm known simply as The Birds, who have it out for humanity for some unclear reason (Gaia's Vengeance is the most popular theory). Though Soren does somewhat admire how the swarm is made of many different species working together towards a shared goal.
- Book Burning is so anathema to the owls of Ga'Hoole that they did not even conceive of such an idea until the Striga, in his fundamentalist madness, decided to start such burnings as a way to rid the owls of their "vanities". He also eventually started burning owls who dared go against his cult. Soren strongly believes no one has any right to destroy precious knowledge, even if that knowledge is something inane like a dirty joke book; he also finds it offensive that fire, which is something almost sacred in Ga'Hoole, should be used for something so atrocious. So he's naturally against Captain Beatty, who believes that the information the masses get must be strictly controlled by the government and therefore book burnings are necessary to keep societal peace. Beatty has turned his sights on the libraries of the Pantheon as targets to destroy but Soren has no intention of just letting him have his way and has joined the ranks of people who fight back, leading to a friendship with the frontman of this resistance, Guy Montag, who used to work under Beatty until he saved one book from a fire and as a result became fascinated with literature. Soren eventually put two and two together and realized Guy Montag and Beatty were characters created by the mythic "Ray Brad" (the -bury had been lost to the ages), whose book partly survived in the owl world and actually inspired some owls to resist the Striga.
- Another favorite fictional character that Soren would get to meet thanks to the Pantheon is King Arthur; Soren is a huge fan of the Arthurian legends and considers them his favorite work of human literature. Part of this is because they resemble the legends of King Hoole so closely, and another part is simply Soren being a proud member of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, who could be seen as the knights in shining armor of the avian world, especially since a Guardian must swear oaths to defeat the wicked and protect the weak before being instated. Thus he sees many of the values dear to him in Arthurian legend. King Arthur himself finds it remarkable that chivalry also exists in some parts of the animal world and avidly follows the tales he hears coming from Ga'Hoole.
- Magnetism can have ruinous effects on an owl's mind and body. St. Aggie's and the Pure Ones weaponized flecks of magnetic iron for brainwashing and to mess with their enemies' navigational abilities. Owls that live close to large deposits of flecks either develop supernatural powers or become permanently stunted in some fundamental way, or sometimes both things happen as was the case with Soren's ally Mist, who was born with deformed wings but was immune to brainwashing and had starsight. That's still a big lottery though and therefore Soren regards magnetic fields as something to avoid as much as possible, which is something a bit more difficult in the Pantheon as there are living creatures capable of Magnetism Manipulation, for example the representative of said power, Magneto. Even if Magneto has no intention of harrassing a bunch of owls (in fact he rather admires the Ga'Hoole ones for being against the Pure Ones), the use of his powers can still affect Soren and his kind if they chance to be nearby, so Soren has good reason to fear him.
- Soren's childhood was marked by his kidnapping by the sinister owls of the St. Aggie's cult and the harrowing experiences he went through there, from attempted brainwashing to being made an example of to watching good friends die gruesomely. While St. Aggie's never managed to turn Soren into their puppet before he escaped, others with similar stories weren't so lucky, such as Alex, an orphan indoctrinated by corrupt clergy to become a secret assassin for the Ilian Church, although she later reformed with help from her childhood friend Elisanne and became one of the Heroes of New Alberia. Alex's story actually reminds Soren of how his sister Eglantine was brainwashed by the Pure Ones for a while, but managed to shake it off some time after being rescued. Soren might feel protective of Alex for this reason, though Alex is probably one of the last people ever to need protection.
- Siblings Kassandra and Alexios, in contrast, remind Soren of his relationship with his older brother Kludd, with the human siblings having been torn apart by the Cult of Kosmos through a false prophecy that said one of them would destroy Sparta. While Kassandra's exile meant she escaped the worst of it and she made it her life's mission to destroy the cult, Alexios ended up becoming a tool for the cult, pitting them against each other. Their relationship in the Pantheon is perhaps not as antagonistic as before, but still tense. As Soren essentially lost all his family except for Eglantine because of St. Aggie's and the Pure Ones, he feels for the siblings as they wish to be a normal family again; he has some faith they can do it, which is more than he can say for Kludd if he was around as Kludd was seemingly evil by nature even as an owlet. Soren also has a good relationship with Kassandra's golden eagle, Ikaros; Soren already knew a pair of eagles, Streak and Zan, that have a long history of being allies to owls, even helping smuggle eggs out of St. Aggie's.
- If there's something Soren can't stand, it's faked, manipulative niceness. This is due to a couple of owls he's had to deal with: first was Aunt Finny, a member of St. Aggie's who put on a warm front and seemed to favor Soren in order to gain his trust, but she turned out to be one of the more cruel owls in the place and one who enjoyed eating owl eggs; the other was Dewlap, a teacher at Ga'Hoole who tried banning books for the supposed greater good and sided with St. Aggie's and the Pure Ones because she believed that was in the tree's best interests. Soren thus feels disgusted by Dolores Umbridge, whose unbearably sweet presentation only disguises how sadistic and tyrannical she really is, something that became all the more evident as she went from Hogwarts teacher to a member of Voldemort's army. Another deity that gives Soren bad memories of St. Aggie's and Aunt Finny is Granny Goodness, a servant of Darkseid who runs an "Orphanage" that's really a training camp to create more loyal soldiers for her boss.

- As a kid, Bradford Buzzard found himself dragged into the various adventures of famed explorer Isabella Finch. Where Isabella found excitement in her endeavors to the point that her expeditions inspired Scrooge McDuck to follow in her footsteps, Bradford saw nothing but danger and those incidents traumatized him to the point that he sought to get rid of chaos and adventure as he got older. Such ambitions were denied when he was an accountant for S.H.U.S.H., prompting him to create F.O.W.L. with the help of Black Heron, who would push him to a darker path as he set out to achieve his goals. As the director of F.O.W.L. Bradford preferred to work from the shadows, undermining Scrooge’s efforts from the beginning, up to and including being responsible for getting Della Duck stranded on the moon and causing a fallout between Scrooge and Donald Duck. Eventually, with Scrooge’s extended family having mended their relationship with each other and Bradford’s involvement with F.O.W.L. exposed, the family raced against time as Bradford sought multiple items and kidnapped their friends and enemies to achieve his goal of eliminating adventure and chaos in its entirety. Even in the face of numerous revelations and the vulture’s insistence of not being evil, Scrooge and his extended family were able to thwart his plans and Magica de Spell transformed Bradford into an ordinary vulture.
- Even when villains work together, they have a habit of turning against each other whenever the chance arises and that’s what happened when Magica was ambushed by what appeared to be some independent baddies who wanted some of her magic for themselves. While she was able to get rid of them, she was distracted enough by the fighting that she didn’t notice that the vulture she had with her was gone until it was too late. With Magica realizing what it meant, some dark magic was conjured by the unrelated villains in a secret hideout to turn Bradford back to his regular self. Although wanting to spite Scrooge, his family, and his friends is a reasonable guess as to why those baddies wanted to undo the transformation that Bradford suffered from back then, what Bradford saw in this event that led to his return was an opportunity for revenge against those who defeated him.
- After being told that he ended up in the Pantheon and having listened to a detailed explanation of that place, Bradford saw it as the worst possible thing that could have happened to him alongside being turned into a feral vulture to be used for Magica’s schemes. Duckburg is a place known for having adventure and chaos happen on a regular basis, but to Bradford, the Pantheon was a place where danger happens almost every other minute to a far greater extent than anything Duckburg could offer. That Duckburg and many other places were connected to the Pantheon only added to Bradford’s hatred of this vast world and it didn’t help that information traveled across the Pantheon so fast that many secrets about Bradford and the other individuals that reside there would be known by others. If there was any consolation for Bradford regarding the Pantheon, it’s that it offered more resources to pull off his plans for revenge and while it would take a long time for it to come to fruition in addition to it being more difficult, Bradford is already fine taking his time to pull off his plans as long as he can succeed at where he previously failed.
- Many of the entities that the McDuck Clan encountered ended up being kidnapped by Bradford to be potentially erased from existence, with Donald Duck’s friends Panchito Pistoles and Jose Carioca being among those at risk. Not only that, but Scrooge’s primary enemies were subject to brainwashing by F.O.W.L. and once Bradford was defeated, they didn’t see him as worthy of being a villain and hate him as much as the McDuck Clan does. Given that his Caballero pals were about to be erased from existence and that it almost happened to himself, Donald told his friends, which included the likes of Mickey Mouse and Sora about Bradford and that the vulture was going to go after them at some point as part of his plans to eliminate the concept of adventure. Given what Mickey and Sora are capable of with and without their friends in addition to their strong ties with the McDuck Clan, Bradford saw eliminating them as a high priority and has laid out some elaborate plans to ensure their downfall. While the Santa Claus that the McDuck Clan encountered was a polar bear, it didn’t stop the actual Santa in the Pantheon from finding out that Bradford attempted to wipe out a version of Santa from existence (and potentially getting Christmas permanently gone as a result), an action that Santa saw as just as unforgivable, if not moreso, as that of tampering with the naughty/nice list or hijacking his role for selfish reasons. A similar animosity towards Bradford exists within Hercules, Selene, and Zeus, all of whom are powerful figures that F.O.W.L. imprisoned (or at least bird versions of them if Storkules being a bird version of Hercules is any indication).
- Seeing as how he can’t infiltrate his way into McDuck Enterprise’s financial board again after what he did to Scrooge, his friends, and his family, Bradford has opted to find different ways to obtain money in order to secure funding to keep F.O.W.L. afloat amidst a frenzied landscape. He knows that trying to get funding from anyone who shares the same kind of morality that the McDuck Clan has won’t work, so he’s decided to find shadier individuals to work with that can financially support his organization. P.T. Boomer became a willing supporter of Bradford’s goals because if the chaos that Bradford claims exists is gone, then so would the magic that P.T. thoroughly hates according to the evil drifter. Bradford is willing to let P.T. throw out some explosives against anyone that threatens him or his financial flow and the drifter was more than eager to oblige. Mr. Burns was another entity that Bradford was able to get financial help from, but for more pragmatic reasons. The vulture knows that more people are aware of his acts of villainy than before and that Mr. Burns is openly hated by a lot of people for many reasons, but Bradford has opted to accept funding from someone whose wealth is comparable to that of Mr. McDuck and is in conflict against him if it means getting revenge. Bradford sees his business relationship with Mr. Burns in a similar way as his past alliance with Black Heron: annoyed at them openly declaring their evil in front of others, but otherwise someone he can rely on if things get difficult.
- One business partner that Bradford found to have a lot in common with was Head Pixie. Both have a business-like approach to their villainy (though Bradford doesn’t see his actions the same way H.P. does), wanted to eliminate anything that they perceive as chaotic, are smart enough to pull off long-term plans, and have been defeated through others utilizing Loophole Abuse against their plans. While Bradford remains bitter about how he was defeated, he’s shown more anger than H.P. or his subordinates over the fact that H.P. was defeated multiple times in that kind of manner at the hands of an imaginative kid to the point that the vulture is looking for ways to close any loophole that could be found in any plans laid out by him or the Pixies. Through the use of the phones used by H.P. and the other Pixies at his command, Bradford found a way not only to get access to more resources for F.O.W.L. in case the money received from the previously mentioned business partners wasn’t enough, but as a weapon to fight back with alongside the Sword of Swanstantine (which he still has thanks to the baddies that got him to the Pantheon) if he’s cornered.
- Bradford was a Junior Woodchuck scout as a child, but was regarded to be the worst of the bunch. For other camping scouts such as Hilda, Lazlo, and his friends, it was one thing to be terrible at it, but it was another to try and use these awful experiences to justify getting rid of adventuring entirely. Lazlo, who tried to see the positives in others, has some awareness that being a scout at camp isn’t for everyone, but Bradford taking his fear and anger out on everyone for being pulled into such dangerous adventures wasn’t something Lazlo was willing to accept to the point that the vulture was one of the few entities in the Pantheon that Lazlo, Raj, and Clam legitimately hate. While Bradford sees the Bean Scouts as nothing more than insufferable pests, he has a much stronger contempt towards Hilda, who he noted had some traits of Webby Vanderquack in her when it came to being a headstrong girl who likes going on adventures. Even as she has faced danger numerous times, Hilda was someone who saw the beauty in the outdoor world, so she found it sickening that someone would try to eliminate adventuring because of a few bad experiences with it.
- Bradford hates adventurers of any sort and those who are young explorers who have a fascination with strange things around them deserve a special mention due to his past. While Hilda and Ittle Dew are the kind of youthful explorers Bradford wants eliminated, there were some similarities that Dipper and Mabel Pines shared with the McDuck Clan that warranted Bradford seeing them as a major problem. The two traveled to a place filled with weirdness, met up with their money-desiring uncle, and engaged in many adventures that led to them reconciling family problems and stopping a major world-ending threat. As much as he hates Dipper, Mabel, and Grunkle Stan for reminding him too much of the McDuck Clan’s love of adventure, he despises the Pines’ adversary Bill Cipher to an arguably greater extent due to the triangle wanting to plunge the world into incomprehensible chaos.
- Despite being involved with several villains who are openly proud about their villainy, Bradford has repeatedly insisted that he is not a villain despite engaging in actions that would make a supervillain proud. There were some entities in the Pantheon that claimed not to be evil or weren’t aware that their actions were causing harm to others, but only a handful of such figures were either truly good or realized the damages that they unwittingly caused. Sweet Mayhem and Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi were those who lived up to their claims of not being evil despite making a bad impression towards Wyldstyle and her friends and later had to stop Rex Dangervest from getting the LEGO worlds sent to storage. That Queen and Sweet Mayhem see Bradford as the villain he claims he isn’t and his actions of trying to get rid of anything chaotic was regarded to be worse than what Rex attempted to do.
- As much as people believe that Bradford and Light Yagami don’t share anything in common with each other given their appearances, the old vulture who tried to hide his villainy and the young adult with a god complex have some similarities in what they used to try and achieve their goals. Both took advantage of their great intellect to pull off their plans, have people working for them that they treat poorly, and are convinced that they’re doing the right thing despite the obvious hypocrisy in their actions. The latter trait was partially caused by them slipping into darker behavior, with Light’s descent into madness being a result of owning a Death Note while Bradford was manipulated into being a full-fledged villain by Black Heron. Their selfish desire to reshape the world into their own image has led to them becoming bitter adversaries, with both seeing the other as threats that must be destroyed if the world is to be a better place from their respective perspectives. While Light conceded that he would have liked to work with Bradford due to seeing a bit of himself in the vulture, Bradford being the leader of what is basically a secretive criminal enterprise has led to Light seeing him as another crook ready to be taken down.
- On a surface level, F.O.W.L. is similar to SHOCKER and HYDRA when it comes to being a mysterious evil organization that pursues items of interest and eliminates anyone that opposes them. Despite F.O.W.L. having members that are proudly open about their villainy much like members from SHOCKER and HYDRA, Bradford is their leader and someone who is aggravated about people announcing their evil out in the open. From his perspective, HYDRA and SHOCKER are groups whose brand of chaos will only escalate if left unchecked and has done what he can to ensure that F.O.W.L. is the only organization out there working from the shadows so that he can continue his plans. While F.O.W.L. has plenty of resources at hand, the mostly solid working relationship that HYDRA and SHOCKER have with each other meant that it would be difficult to eliminate those two organizations even if they see Bradford and F.O.W.L. as little more than nuisances to get rid of.
- Bradford’s rivalry towards HYDRA and SHOCKER extends towards other similarly evil organizations due to his goals not aligning with the typical world domination plans such organizations are after. Despite having such a difference compared to the typical leader of a group of baddies, Bradford’s actions ended up getting the attention of an ensemble of villains known as The Evil Geniuses. These particular geniuses all had their own individual backstories of how they rose to becoming notorious villains and had their own distinct gimmick and doomsday device that they were after to take over the world. The geniuses noted that Bradford having a group of baddies working for F.O.W.L. and using the Solego Circuit for his plans wouldn’t be out of place with what they do except the Circuit functioned as little more than an overly elaborate way to get rid of garbage instead of being an item that spreads its evil around the world that the geniuses have used to ensure their success. There has been a bit of in-fighting among the geniuses over who gets to take over the Pantheon, but there are plenty of villains that they are competing with and Bradford is just another baddie that they’re up against in their quest to take over the Pantheon.
- Anarchos Organization was one of Bradford’s biggest problems when it came to rivals for F.O.W.L. and Anarchos’ leader Lord Recluse had plenty to say about Bradford’s actions. Despite also using his smarts to carry out plans within a criminal organization and preferring pragmatism in his actions, that was where the similarities between Bradford Buzzard and Lord Recluse ended as the latter pointed out. On top of him constantly denying his villainy, Bradford treated his subordinates poorly and his goal of eliminating chaos was only for the benefit of himself. Lord Recluse had no respect of any sort towards Bradford for these detrimental characteristics related to evil and made it clear that his brand of tyranny will annihilate any semblance of normalcy that Bradford is looking for.
- Bradford expressed relief that there were a few entities living in the largely chaotic Pantheon that have tried their best to live an ordinary lifestyle, even if their personalities had a bit of weirdness to them. As much as Bradford would like to meet the Dursleys, Vernon having a zero-tolerance policy towards anything that would be seen as abnormal such as talking animals meant that the vulture decided not to bother with them even if they would be happy living in the world of pure normalcy that Bradford wants. What Bradford didn’t expect was a meeting with Yoshikage Kira when he saw the latter destroy a hapless victim into oblivion and Kira was surprised when someone saw him in action. Bradford was forced to explain things to avoid a similar fate and Kira found it intriguing that there was another entity who wanted to live a quiet life and was willing to commit extreme actions to get there. The vulture found that there was no point in pointing out the unusual nature of how Kira gets rid of witnesses, given the hypocrisy of how Bradford had to use the supernatural Sword of Swanstantine in order to put up a physical fight. As far as serial killers are concerned, while Bradford was unable to tolerate the selfish genius Light Yagami, he found more in common with the normalcy-seeking Yoshikage Kira (who was mentioned to hate Light Yagami as well) to the point that the vulture was able to see him as a friend of some sort instead of a mere tool. When it comes to Kira’s murderous impulses, he found an effective outlet in helping Bradford with his plans to ensure a quiet life for himself by eliminating any witnesses that would interfere with their plans.
- With how annoyed he is about getting forced into various adventures, Charlie the Unicorn already expected the worst out of Bradford given that the unicorn already had bad experiences with the Dursleys and Kira. In theory, Bradford being traumatized as a kid from being dragged into danger repeatedly would be something that Charlie would be sympathetic about. What stopped Charlie from wanting anything to do with him was that the vulture was willing to enact some nasty plans to stop chaos from spreading that would put innocents who never had anything to do with Bradford’s predicament in danger. The vulture was more than interested in Charlie, who not only had a desire to get out of harm’s way, but successfully sealed away a pair of Chaos Spirits that was responsible for the hell that he endured. Charlie saw Bradford as a hypocrite for endangering others for the sake of his own safety and has tried to avoid him as much as possible, especially since Bradford believes that Charlie could be of use to him.
- Bradford has sought out a number of items to achieve his goals, among them the Solego Circuit which creates a void that can dispose of anything that’s thrown into it and the Papyrus of Binding that would create a magical contract to prevent Scrooge from ever adventuring again. The Pantheon contained many items that are similar in function to what Bradford previously pursued, but getting them wouldn’t be a simple task thanks to a number of explorers similar to Scrooge who have pursued these artifacts to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. Indiana Jones, Lara Croft, and the Kosugis were just some examples of treasure-hunting explorers that Bradford saw as a threat to his plans and the vulture has used his agents from F.O.W.L. to try and stop them, especially if these adventurers are working with Scrooge at any given time. While some of the items present in the Pantheon are much stronger than what he previously used, Bradford knows there is a chance that they could backfire on him at the worst possible time and he is researching these items to see which ones would be the most effective for him to use and how to stop rivals from getting access to them.
- If having to live in a world as chaotic as the Pantheon wasn’t enough to enrage Bradford, then learning about powerful entities who actively encourage a chaotic lifestyle would anger him further. In addition to the aforementioned Bill Cipher, Discord was another entity dedicated to keeping chaos around despite being less malicious than Cipher. While F.O.W.L. was able to imprison the fairly powerful Storkules, Selene, and Zeus, Bradford is aware that eliminating potentially stronger entities that spread chaos wherever they go, let alone imprisoning them to begin with, will be much more difficult even with the help of figures who support Bradford’s cause that can match up to such power. There’s also the existence of entities such as The Nothing that seek to destroy everything altogether and while their actions can lead to the end of the concepts of chaos and adventure, Bradford doesn’t see what they do as aligning with his own goal due to order and his own safety being potentially destroyed as well.

- Rocko the rockhopper penguin
had been in the Pantheon for a considerable period of time, serving as a follower of Suguha Kirigaya (who, as of this writing, has been unascended). Things were fine for a time, with the plucky bird being content with his position. That is until the Court of the Gods stopped by for a visit. They had discovered the penguins from Rocko's homeworld... weren't exactly the most scientifically accurate of avian dinosaurs. They were much larger than normal penguins when compare to humans, had Feather Fingers, and teeth in their beaks. note And that doesn't even get into Rocko's ability to fly. So with all this in mind, the Court decided to give Rocko a position as a God in the Pantheon. He accepted it, but on one condition; he would share the temple with his friend Hubie, an Adélie penguin
, whom he bonded with after escaping the Good Ship Misery. Hubie was more than happy to reunite with his travel buddy, and to explore the Pantheon and all of its magnificence.
- Hubie wasn't the only one who ascended with Rocko. Serving as their Herald is his mate Marina, often described as the most beautiful lady penguin in the entire rookery. She was happy with her mate ascending and was just as curious to see what the Pantheon has to offer. Often times, they stop by the House of Love and Affection to meet with the various couples there. All three penguins also share their own stories with each other from time to time, with Marina in awe of all Hubie went through to make it home to her.
- It's still never truly explained how Rocko could suddenly fly, with some claiming he ate a fairy to do so. He's refuted that claim, and found another friend in the form of Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, who believe it was a matter of faith and trust. Surprisingly, no pixie dust needed.
- It is true that Adélie penguins use pebbles to attract mates, but instead of an engagement pebble, the males build nests
to woo the females. Hubie's not exactly sure what to make of that but his antics have attracted the attention of David Attenborough, who has been documenting his and Rocko's adventures for millions to watch.
- Though it has served its purpose, Hubie still keeps his emerald pebble around as a keepsake. This has lead to a few problems, mainly due to its celestial origin. Some in the Pantheon are wanting to steal the gem, hoping to find out what it's truly capable of. It doesn't help that it occasionally slip out of his hands, leading the poor penguin into many dire situations.
- Despite being considered an Old Shame by their creator Don Bluth, to the point where he didn't show up to their ascension, Hubie and Rocko quickly became friends with most of Bluth's other creations. They've bonded with their neighbor Chanticleer over being from bad films made by Bluth's studio while Littlefoot, Fievel and Anastasia sympathize with Hubie in particular as they've all had to embark on dangerous journeys to reunite to their loved ones. Still, they all avoid the Sharptooth and The Grand Duke of Owls at all costs.
- It did take some time for Bluth to sit down and chat with Hubie and Rocko, and while he admitted the film had problems, he apologized for his harshness and promised to treat them with a little more respect.
- Their opinion of humanity varies, especially after being held captive aboard the Good Ship Misery, whose human captains wanted to sell them and the other penguins to zoos. This has lead the pair to oppose those humans who would want to poach and exploit animals. Such examples include the Pokémon Hunter J, Cruella De Vil, Mr. Burns and Looten Plunder. Things have gotten better though. The Nature Preservers have shown the two not all humans are bad and have even introduced the pair to Eliza Thornberry, who often joins Hubie and Rocko in teaching other deities about penguins and the world of the Antarctic.
- That said, one look at Gaston instantly made Hubie and Marina think of the brutish penguin Drake, whose arrogant bravado hid a more darker side. They quickly opposed him and now stay a good distance away from him.
- They bonded with Avatar Aang, Katara, Sokka and Korra due to their shared history with the South Pole. note That said, their relationship with Sokka was a bit complicated as the Water Tribe warrior had attempted to hunt them when they first met. He got his ass handed to him by the penguins. When all was cleared up, all Hubie and Rocko asked for was for the Avatar and his friends to not use them as sleds. They're not that durable.
- Life is tough for a penguin. They have to contend with marauding skuas and giant petrels from the air whilst avoiding leopard seals and orcas in the fathoms below. Luckily, Hubie and Rocko haven't had to worry about the skuas and petrels... same can't be said for the marine mammals. They've come to oppose Lord Fredrik due to his evil ambitions, and have been spending their time avoiding the jaws of the Pantheon's most ferocious predators, such as the marine reptile Liopleurodon, the shark bruce, and the whales Moby Dick and Monstro respectively. But killer whales
always make the pair uncomfortable and there's no other whale to terrify them than Kyogre. While the Legendary Pokémon doesn't consider the penguins prey, they aren't taking their chances with talking to it, especially after hearing of what it's capable of.
- That said, Hubie and Rocko have learned that not all the Pantheon's seals and whales are penguin eaters. In fact, Katara has introduced the pair to her Pokémon partner Wailord - who prefers to eat krill - and it was through Wailord that they met fellow water type Pokémon Lapras and Popplio, the latter often performing for the two. On a bit of an ironic note, Ecco the dolphin also befriended the pair and is seen swimming with them after schools of fish. Except for Wishwashi, of course. They stay the hell away from that.
- Princess Ariel and her daughter Melody quickly bonded with Hubie and Rocko, the latter even more so as they reminded her of her friends Tip and Dash. Melody is often seeing swimming with the two penguins, exploring the Hall of Aquatic Life, and meeting the many deities found there. Ariel will join from time to time and has complimented Hubie's singing voice, even offering to bring him to the House of Theatre and Spectacle to perform. Hubie hasn't made his decision yet but he's considering it.
- As it turned out, there were other penguins in the Pantheon to greet Hubie and Rocko, as well as humans who simply love the flightless birds. Sgt. Byrd, King Dedede and Rocko all bonded immediately due to their shared ability of flight, while the human Misato Kisaragi was head over heels for the two, who reminded her of her own penguin Pen-Pen. That said, there were still problems to be had. The Penguins of Madagascar in particular once captured Hubie and brought him to The Nostalgia Critic in exchange for fish.
◊ Rocko busted him out later but the six have been on rocky terms ever since.
- One time, Hubie and Rocko learned of Scorpion's one rather peculiar way of killing opponents.
The pair were confused and weirded out by the discovery, mostly due to the fact they saw a human turn into a penguin, and vowed never to speak of it again.
- While neither of them will ever understand DJ Grooves' fascination with disco or movies, they bonded with him due to the kinship they felt with the Moon Penguin.

- Storks were once in charge of delivering newborn babies to hopeful parents. That ended when one stork made the mistake of getting too attached to his charge and broke her homing beacon, resulting in the baby having to be raised by the storks, who abandoned baby delivery and restructured into Cornerstore, a package delivery company. 18 years passed and the baby grew into Tulip, whose attempts at being useful and revolutionizing the workplace weren't always appreciated by Cornerstore's avian workforce. CEO Hunter told his top employee, Junior, that he would be promoted if he fired Tulip. Junior instead transferred Tulip to the out-of-the-way mailroom, where a letter by a boy requesting a baby sibling shortly arrived. Tulip fired up the long-unused baby-making machine and Junior couldn't stop it in time before a baby, named Diamond Destiny by Tulip, came out. Junior and Tulip then went on a journey to deliver Diamond Destiny to her parents, Junior being unable to do it alone due to a broken wing. In the course of the adventure, Junior's priorities changed as he realized how empty he felt working for Cornerstore, and Tulip was finally able to meet her family. Hunter kept employing increasingly malicious methods to stop them, eventually leading to a confrontation that ended in his death and Cornerstore's end. Afterwards, Junior led the storks back to their original duty of baby delivery.
- The storks' traditional business carried on without a hitch until Junior chanced upon a baby that seemed a bit too big to still be around Stork Mountain. Fortunately the baby carried a note that read "This is Baby Bink, please return him to the Pantheon." While not a typical stork delivery, Junior couldn't ignore a misplaced baby, so he and Tulip (in an airplane of her design) set out to search for this Pantheon, which they found after weathering through a severe storm. Junior was awarded godhood for returning Baby Bink safely, as well as for steering the storks away from a soulless corporate existence and towards their original purpose. Junior had no idea what to say, while Tulip practically crushed him in a hug while bursting with pride, saying that this went way beyond what Hunter had in store for him.
- Junior remains close to Baby Bink after that whole adventure they shared, with Bink meaning almost as much to Junior as Diamond Destiny, whom Junior sometimes brings around so the two can play. Of course this also means Junior loses a lot of feathers due to the stress that results from the heaps of trouble Baby Bink tends to get himself in, and he'd like to know which Cloudcuckoolander higher god thought it was a good idea to make a baby a House head. Speaking of, Junior and the whole of Stork Mountain naturally have a close working relationship with the House of Childhood and Adolescence, given the storks play a pivotal role in that very first part of human life and provide babies to caring households.
- Some of Baby Bink's friends provide other reasons for Junior losing feathers, considering a terrifying woman known as La Femme is counted among them. She has sent bloodcurdling threats to Junior after he understandably refused to provide the insane woman with a baby of her own, making him very, very grateful Stork Mountain is practically inaccessible to someone like her. But on another hand, well, she's made it very obvious already that she doesn't wish any baby any harm; in fact, it's quite the opposite if all the times she has saved Baby Bink and some of the other children from some more serious threat are anything to go by (and Junior himself got bailed out by her one such time). That, combined with La Femme's tragic backstory of losing her unborn baby in a car crash, makes Junior somewhat sympathetic towards her, though the fact that she went on to terrorize and kill another expecting woman brings back around the fact that she can't be trusted. Nonetheless, he doesn't really object to Baby Bink being around her.
- Contrary to what one might assume, the storks are not the only source of human babies in Junior's universe. This is proven by the existence of Nate Gardner, who at 10 years old is much younger than Tulip, the last baby cared for by the storks. Otherwise, the consequences of the storks retiring from the business would have been catastrophic for the human race and that wouldn't have been a good look for the storks. Therefore, it's probably a safe bet that storks (the ones in Junior's universe, at least) get the gist of human reproduction, which is undoubtedly ironic given the whole stork story is something parents tell kids so as to not talk about what sexual reproduction entails. Even if this makes the storks seem redundant, they provide an important service for hopeful parents who cannot have babies the traditional way, such as infertile or homosexual couples, or single parents. In a way, this makes Junior complementary to Tawaret, the Egyptian goddess of pregnancy, and the two get along well since Tawaret has a generally pleasant disposition, though Junior finds her terrifying when she goes into protective goddess mode and thus takes care never to get on her bad side.
- Junior has struck a deal with Miltank to especially provide Stork Mountain with her famously tasty and nutritious milk, all for the babies under their care of course, partly so they don't go hungry before being delivered to their parents, partly so they start their lives with the right foot. Miltank milk is said to turn children into "hearty, healthy" adults, after all. Miltank is quite happy to be of service.
- Surprisingly, considering the sheer number of Pokémon that exist and how they are often drawn from folk tales or other aspects of human culture, there is yet to be found a species that directly correlates to the Delivery Stork. (There is a Pokémon — Bombirdier — that resembles a stork and has a built-in swaddle, but it prefers to carry rocks for dropping on its prey.) There are rumors that the time-traveling fairy Celebi might fulfill a similar role, but there's only one confirmed instance of it delivering an egg to someone and the circumstances were rather special. Either way, Celebi has been seen flitting around Stork Mountain for some reason, looking happy to interact with the babies there, and the storks have decided to take it in stride. The rumors surrounding Celebi have made Junior interested in looking into other beings that fulfill similar functions as the storks, if only to see if they do things any differently from them and what they can learn from that.
- A wolf pack that wanted to adopt Diamond Destiny is part of Junior's Heralds, despite their initial antagonistic relationship as they chased Junior, Tulip and the baby everywhere. That's why Junior was somewhat bemused at learning there was this one girl, San, who was raised by wolves since she was a baby after being thrown at them by her cowardly human parents. San's resulting contempt for humans means she's of the opinion Diamond Destiny would have been better off being raised by the wolf pack, even as goofy as they are. Junior has to agree they'd probably do a good job of it if they stuck to their promise of raising Diamond Destiny into a strong, independent woman, but it would have been scummy to take her away from the family that had requested her. A family that, though human, is very loving and not bad at all. San begrudgingly conceded the point and decided she'd extend a hand to Junior if he ever asked, in honor of his wolf Heralds.
- Junior's acquaintance with San has led to him learning about the curious case of Mowgli, a boy who was also raised by wolves in his early years, but when a tiger called Shere Khan threatened his life, the other animals in the forest were very invested in sending him to a human settlement to keep him safe. The bear Baloo and the panther Bagheera were the ones who accompanied Mowgli for most of his journey and they went through a lot of trouble to protect him from various things, so they and Junior can definitely relate to each other on the subject of keeping young, danger-prone human charges safe from crazy stuff. Also kind of similar is the matter of Pumbaa, a warthog, and Timon, a meerkat, raising the lion cub Simba into young adulthood after he lost his father and exiled himself from his homeland. The fact that Timon and Pumbaa decided to leave their lazy lives and support Simba when he decided to return to the Pride Lands reminds Junior of how he ended up putting Diamond Destiny and Tulip before his ambitions of promotion.
- Stork Mountain has established close business relations with Monsters Inc., with Junior and Sulley leading the proceedings. Given Monsters Inc. relies on the laughter of children to generate energy, Stork Mountain being an important provider for their main source of energy is a big deal to them. Aside from that, Sulley and his best friend Mike were heavily influenced in their lives by a lost human baby, Boo, who they protected from the other monsters and sought to deliver home. It was also her who made them realize laughter creates stronger energy than screams, which Monsters Inc. originally ran on. Given Junior went through a very similar journey as Mike and Sulley, with Diamond Destiny changing the way he looked at life, he understands the two monsters on a very deep level.
- He gets along well with various deities who've had their children delivered to them by storks, or were babies delivered by storks, many of them not even human. The list includes Pac-Man, the Smurfs, Dumbo and even Mario and Luigi. In that last instance, the stork ended up being abducted along with Luigi by the evil Kamek, causing the kind dinosaur Yoshi to find Mario and go on a quest to rescue the stork and Luigi. Because of that, when it comes to denizens of the Mushroom Kingdom, Junior has a closer alliance with Yoshi than anyone else from there, while avoiding Kamek for kidnapping one of his kind. In regards to Dumbo, Junior decided to pick his deliverer, Mr. Stork, as High Priest since he has a lot of experience in dealing with animal clients, something Stork Mountain is relatively lacking in and could use now that they're in the Pantheon.
- One especially dim human teen known only as Ed still believes in the Delivery Stork tale even though that's not at all how it works in his universe, so he greatly appreciates that the Pantheon has a stork deity that lives up to his ideas and admires Junior to the point that he'll somehow get past Stork Mountain security and get in to "help" the storks with their deliveries. Though impressed that a mere human like Ed can manage to fly and drop things down chimneys, Junior really doesn't want this dumb kid getting his hands on their business. It's really enough that the storks need to handle fragile, unpredictable babies on the daily without them having to worry about one full-grown mental baby interfering.
- One of the more unconventional versions of the Delivery Stork story can be found in the universe inhabited by Dracula (the nice fatherly one) and his daughter Mavis, as they themselves informed Junior. Apparently, the Grim Reaper and the stork are the same being, almost literally two sides of the same coin, representing death and life respectively. Junior has to admit that seeing a stork in such a unique mystical light makes for quite a contrast considering he's a lot more used to the somewhat prosaic, business-like vibe that the storks in his universe display. Anyway, this Death/stork being is probably not someone that Junior can go out and recruit for Stork Mountain willy-nilly, but he's thankful to Dracula and Mavis for the info.
- It surprised Junior to learn that somewhere out there, there exists a universe where human beings can deliver each other and the act is not considered slavery or some other terrible crime. That is the universe where Lag Seeing and Niche come from, as Junior learned when the two came to deliver something to Stork Mountain. Given Junior and Lag are both in the business of deliveries, Lag thought it fitting to exchange thoughts with the bird; he explained that the whole human delivery thing is really more like an escort mission than anything else. Junior was also interested and maybe a tad horrified to learn the ridiculous dangers that messengers like Lag went through in his world, as they had to traverse miles of barren land that's often riddled with dangerous giant insects. And Junior thought storks had it bad with having to work in stormy weather. The notion of having a dedicated bodyguard (which Niche is to Lag) sure sounds neat, though. Either way, both parties highly respect each other as fellow delivery people who won't easily back down from a challenge when in route.
- Has strained relations with cartoon characters such as the Pink Panther and the Looney Tunes Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Sylvester because they've suffered through some trouble dealing with mistaken deliveries from storks. This has resulted in them sending strongly worded letters to Stork Mountain, more or less telling Junior to get his stuff together and make sure his workers don't cause them trouble. After the Jasper incident, Junior consciously does his best to make sure that doesn't happen, though given he has expanded Stork Mountain's work force to include multiple storks from totally different universes, and this includes the infamous Drunk Stork that was the source of trouble for the Looney Tunes, accidents are still bound to happen. Junior has tried to put the Drunk Stork on "middle management" to remedy this, but in his alcoholism, he still goes out and does deliveries that annoy someone.
- Maintains generally good relations with the Hall of Birds, what with being a bird himself and all. It probably also helps that Stork Mountain employs many different species of birds, even flightless ones. He definitely cannot abide certain evil ones such as the peacock Lord Shen, who committed genocide on the panda species and was all to willing to kill their children to avoid a prophecy that stated he would be overthrown by one of them. Such deeds make Lord Shen anathema to Junior. He also won't go along with the Birds' call for every bird to rise up against humans since that would be a betrayal of the storks' duty to serve humans many times worse than the period when the storks were a package delivery company. Junior has also commented that he can't make heads or tails of why exactly the Birds hate humans and want to harm them, they sound so incoherent to him.
- Stork Mountain is kept under close watch by the SCP Foundation, which regards the birds with some suspicion given the existence of SCP-918, a mill that creates storks that kidnap children. Junior has formally met with the Foundation and told them kidnapping children is pretty much the antithesis of what his birds do at Stork Mountain and such behavior will not be tolerated on his watch. The Foundation believes Junior and the birds at Stork Mountain as a whole mean well, but considering what happened with Jasper edged very close to kidnapping, maybe the Foundation has some right to be wary of the storks.

From left to right: Private, Rico, Skipper, Kowalski.
- Demigods
- Symbol: Skipper's bobble-head wife
- Theme Music: "The Penguins of Madagascar" Main Theme
(from the film or the show
, the latter featuring "The Electric Noodle"); "Celebrate"
by Pitbull; "More than a Feeling"
by Boston
- Alignment: Chaotic Good, with Chaotic Neutral tendencies
- Portfolio: Penguins, being a Badass Crew, saving the day at the last minute, being the most memorable characters
- Domains: Penguins, Espionage, Missions
- Followers: Pen Pen, Chill Penguin, Bruces, the Hero Prinny.
- Allies: Variable, though they generally respect the Zoosters, Shrek, and they're doted on by the Ice King and Squigly (who has "birds" listed among her likes). Oh, and the Prinnies toonote . There's also DJ Grooves, a fellow penguin whom they are ready to bodyguard for. They're also on good terms with fellow penguins such as Hubie and Rocko, Sgt. Byrd, Mumble, Peso of the Octonauts, and Penta Penguin.
- Enemies: Dave the Octopus, Captain Dubois, Nana, Etna; otherwise, variable
- The position was briefly held by the rather obscure Daipenmon, but Crump took over his body. But then these penguins initiated "Operation TV Tropes", incapacitated Crump, took over, built a headquarters exactly like their old one at the Central Park Zoo, and ate sushi to celebrate.
- Skipper is the leader of the group, the best combatant, is Afraid of Needles, and is extremely paranoid.
- Kowalski is The Smart Guy and has a fondness for hi-tech. When he's not with the others, he is in the House of Technology, ogling the equipment and jotting notes.
- Rico is a Wild Card and can hold almost anything in his stomach, he just needs to send it back up. While gross, other gods find this impressive, and his ability has come in handy for many gods.
- Private is the cute one. While not (entirely) deliberate, Skipper has him put it to good use on missions.
- Much like their predecessor, the Penguins have no fond feelings for Etna due to her treatment of "penguins". Other gods have tried explaining to Skipper and the rest that Prinnies aren't technically penguins, but Skipper's rampant paranoia has him mark those people as Etna's allies, covering for her. The penguins have managed to get the better of her on a few occasions, and they do consider her a Worthy Opponent (while she considers them a nuisance).
- Skipper has led numerous operations to infiltrate the House of Leadership and impersonate King Dedede for various reasons (no one dares/cares to ask), but these have all ended in failure in one way or another.
- When the secrecy of their mission is compromised and their cover is blown, Skipper instructs the others to "smile and wave" and look "cute and cuddly". This usually works.
- Po, like most Dreamworks entities, tries to be nice to them, but Skipper orders the others to attack him, and although he understands their paranoia, Po has suspicions against Kowalski, who sounds a bit too much like Tong Fo for his liking...
- Rico frequently tries to get into the Hall of Water and Moisture, but was banned by Aquaman for over-consuming the fish there. A few of his plans involve the fact that they sound alike, but nobody has been fooled by his grunt-language impersonation.
- Have an odd friendship with the Friends crew, who are equally a weird quirky ensemble with New York roots...and Ross sounds familiar to them. Likewise, Larry Daley has also been seen with the penguins (though he's seen so many weird things talking penguins don't startle him) after they confused him for a lion.
- Originally, the penguins held the position of Gods of Misplaced Wildlife, but the arrival of King Louie forced them to give up that title. They weren't too happy about that but the Skipper decided to let it slide.
- "Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave."
The Murkrow Flock
The Murkrow Flock, Deified Corvid Thieves (Darkness Pokémon, Yamikarasu)

- Demideities (majority), Lesser God (Alpha), Intermediate Deities (as a flock)
- Symbol: A nest filled with stolen trinkets and items.
- Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
- Gender: 1 Alpha Male, 2 Males, 3 Females
- Ability: Prankster (Alpha), Insomnia (One Male/Female), Super Luck (One Male/Two Females)
- Moves: Foul Play, Thief, Tailwind, Wing Attack (Alpha only); Thief, Taunt, Wing Attack, Torment (rest)
- Portfolio: Creepy Crows, Thieving Magpie, Feathered Fiend (to those they steal from), Enjoy Nighttime, Combat Pragmatist
- Domains: Birds, Darkness, Thievery
- Guardian: Honchkrow
- Allies: The House of Crime and Transgressions (and even then Murkrow are willing to steal from them as well), Tweety, Heckle and Jeckle, Psy-Crow
- Partner: Marisa Kirisame
- Enemies: Everyone else with emphasis on the Houses of Commerce, Royalty, and Law and Justice and all Electric, Ice, Rock and Fairy deities, Sylvester, The Crow, The Grand Duke of Owls, Clockwerk, The Farmer, Two-Face, Earthworm Jim
- Additional Relationship: Medivh
- Fears: Katz, Fiddlesticks, Eric Draven
- It all began innocently enough. Several deities reported some of their everyday objects missing, followed by missing ingredients and snacks from the House of Food. Suddenly, the House of Royalty raised alarm that several members' jewelry were pilfered. The House of Justice went into overtime searching and questioning the most likely suspects in the Houses of Crime and Transgressions and Villainy. It was then that the Machine noticed a rather unusual dead tree located within the alleys of the House of Crime that wasn't there before and sent word to nearby police deities to inspect. When they did, they not only discovered the stolen trinkets, foodstuffs and jewels within the tree but also the arrival of 6 strange and angry corvids. The largest of these birds attacked and initially drove off the investigators only for Ash Ketchum (who recognized them to be a murder of Murkrow) to show up and have Pikachu blast them with Thunderbolt while the leader was distracted. The birds were caged and the stolen loot returned. Before the six Murkrow could be removed, Marisa Kirisame vouched for them and liked their moxie. Seeing as they were already in the Pantheon somehow, the Murkrow were given to Marisa as partners. Reimu and the rest of the deities from Gensokyo immediately sensed a feeling of dread.
- The Murkrow are a flock of six with three males and females respectively with the largest male acting as the leader. For some reason, this "Alpha" Murkrow has the unusual Prankster ability that is not seen among regular wild Murkrow, which only asks more questions as to how this particular Pokémon gained the ability.
- The Alpha has proven itself to be the murder's leader due to having not just the Prankster ability but also Foul Play as its signature move. That means the stronger the target that tries to go after them, the more damaging the blow. This proves problematic when the flock head to the Combat Dojo, Power Dome or any House with particularly strong deities as its Foul Play becomes stronger there.
- These birds love shiny objects or anything that would look valuable and snatch them from unsuspecting victims, with their favorite target being the Houses of Commerce and Royalty. Several deities from these and other Houses now have to be careful where they leave things and even have updated security measures with their inclusion in the Pantheon. However, even they are not stupid enough to steal from the Kecleon Brothers.
- Their homebase and "temple" is the dead tree in the House of Crime. When the murder is sleeping, two particular Murkrow are always left standing guard since they have the Insomnia ability. If any intruder catches their line of sight, they immediately caw the alarm which puts the entire flock to attack.
- The birds steal from everyone, including the very House they are a part of. However, instead of killing them, several enterprising crime deities have set up a "barter system" with the Murkrow. They exchange whatever items the birds have stolen with random other shiny objects and trash that catch the flock's eyes. With this system in place, Moriarty and other crime leaders are quick to keep whatever valuable things the Murkrow have snatched for their own purposes.
- Some deities were incensed over the increasing number of Murkrow thefts as even they were also able to evade the ever-present surveillance of the Machine. That was when word reached Medivh and he chose to infiltrate the group as one of his well-known morphs was of a crow. After finding information on the Pokémon in the House of Knowledge, he transformed into a Murkrow and infiltrated the group. The Alpha, however, could tell this "newcomer" was not normal but allowed it to join the flock. Medivh was able to communicate with his allies on the murder's movement and make sure their targets are safely stored away before they could be stolen. This made the lesser Murkrow upset but the Alpha quickly suspected the newcomer is at fault but kept his suspicions to himself.
- The few times the flock is able to freely pilfer are when Medivh gets called away to battle, which gives the Alpha enough time to launch thieving raids and hide the valuables from the "new bird" to later trade off.
- As they are modeled after classic witches, the flock is quite amicable towards Granny Weatherwax, who sees the birds as stylish and mischievous. In return, the Alpha forbade any of the others from stealing from her.
- Nanny Ogg, however, is not one the flock is glad to be around, especially when Katz is nearby. Even though the Alpha has his Foul Play which can practically triumph over the evil cat, he really doesn't want to risk it if it fails. Hence, they stay as far away from her as possible when they visit Granny Weatherwax.
- As they are birds, Sylvester always goes after them to catch as a meal. The flock was able to defeat him the first time with a synchronized Wing Attack flurry, but the feline won't give up on catching them. Their alliance with Tweety is merely one of convenience as they both hate Sylvester.
- As they are solitary birds, they don't like to hang with other evil birds who they consider as rivals. Once they met the being simply known as The Crow. Just as with Medivh, the Alpha was not fooled for a second as he could tell she was not a normal bird. The Crow attempted to get under the Alpha's feathers with insults over its so-called leadership, but the Murkrow leader knew for a fact she's practically weakened with the lack of Manifestation Energy and rubbed that in her beak along with the embarrassing way she was killed. This infuriated her and she proclaimed that if she ever regained her full powers, the Pokémon World would be first on her list to destroy. The flock merely cackled and jeered as they flew away.
- The Grand Duke of Owls is a particularly sore thorn on the side of the Alpha as both of them tend to fight to establish who is the stronger bird of the night. So far the Alpha Murkrow has managed to eke out victories over the Duke by using Foul Play when the dark owl attempts to use its magic smoke and double the damage. Even so, the Duke will not give up until the flock is gone from the Pantheon.
- Clockwerk, on the other hand makes the flock green with envy not only for his greater prowess at thievery but also because of his immortality. (That and being a "steel" type makes attacking him useless).
- As crow-based Pokémon, the flock's favorite food is fresh corn. They frequently target the Farmer's temple to raid his cornfields, which caused no end of grief to the cultivator. Even putting up a scarecrow did little to dissuade the Murkrow from robbing his crops. The Murkrow's carefree days of stealing from the Farmer came to an abrupt end when they attacked one day and saw a new scarecrow they have never seen before in the middle of the field. The Alpha, accustomed to perching on the scarecrow's head, received the shock of his life as he realized the scarecrow was none other than Fiddlesticks who immediately sent out his own murder of crows to attack. Both the normal and Pokémon crows immediately fought against each other in equal terms but found themselves at a disadvantage when the scarecrow fought alongside them and the Alpha immediately used Tailwind to raise the flock's speed and ordered them to retreat. Since then, they tread carefully when they approach the cornfields.
- Another being that scares the feathers off the entire flock, the Alpha included, is Eric Draven. They see the crow familiar that hang around him as equally unnatural as Medivh and The Crow, but has a strong aura of power unlike the former. The Alpha may bluster to keep up appearances that he could best Eric's crow in a fight and he's actually right as the bird itself is a weak target, but doesn't want to risk facing Eric's wrath.
- Whenever the flock is with Psy-Crow, they often go robbing with the bounty hunter. Other times he just brings them along and makes them fight Earthworm Jim, since he perfectly knows he hates crows because they keep pecking his head.
- Heckle and Jeckle took interest in the flock, as they also enjoy having fun at the expense of others. At first, the Alpha found something odd about the talking magpies and clarified that it’s not giving up its position as leader anytime soon.
Paulie (Paulie)
Paulie, God of Hyper-Intelligent Birds

- Demigod
- Symbol: The name "Paulie" written in stylized letters
- Theme Music: Paulie Medley
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Portfolio: Formerly acrophobic bird, a foul-mouthed parrot when he wants to be, a talking, hyper-intelligent bird
- Domains: Birds, Pets, Loyalty
- Herald: Marie, his owner
- Allies: Eliza Thornberry, Snow White (Disney), Fluttershy, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, Tweety Bird, Iago
- Enemies: The Grand Duke of Owls, Lord Shen, Sylvester, Katz
- Opposes: The Hall of Felines, cats in general
- At first glance, Paulie appears to be your average blue-crowned conure. It's easy to mistake him for a normal bird, at least until he opens his beak. The parrot is so intelligent that most believe him to be sentient. He's fully capable of human speech, but interestingly cannot communicate with other birds.
- Paulie refused to ascend unless he was allowed to bring his owner, Marie, with him as his herald. Fortunately for him, the higher-ups of the Pantheon were happy to oblige him. He and Marie go back a long way. Paulie was a gift to her from her grandpa when she was a little girl, and he helped her to get over her stutter. Her parents eventually got rid of him after an incident in which Marie fell off the roof of her house while trying to teach him to fly. After that, he spent years trying to reunite with her. By the time he finally found her, she was all grown up, and he actually didn't recognize her until she sang the lullaby her mother would sing to her as a child.
- It took forever for Eliza Thornberry to realize that Paulie was actually speaking to her rather than communicating with her in normal bird language. Needless to say, ever since that revelation, Eliza has been completely and totally fascinated by Paulie. She is often seen talking to him or bringing him snacks.
- Even Paulie finds himself unable to resist Snow White's singing. Whenever he hears her singing, he immediately flocks to her. Sometimes he fights with other birds for the best spot to perch on her.
- Fluttershy, being the kind-hearted animal lover that she is, was immediately drawn to Paulie when she first met him. She's so nice to him, and super sensitive, that even the occasionally foul-mouthed Paulie resists the urge to swear around her.
- Paulie is on fairly good terms with Tweety Bird, seeing that he's able to speak in a manner similar to him. He also mistook Tweety for female at first, and prefers not to speak of said incident. Seriously, don't even bother asking.
- When Marie was a little girl, she would dress Paulie up and pretend that he was her fairy godmother and that she was a princess. Having a stutter that her parents often came to grips over, she would ask Paulie to make her talk right. Eventually, he would actually grant her wish, talking with her until she got over the stutter. This story really struck a chord with Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, who were greatly touched by it.
- Paulie expresses frequent displeasure at having to share a House with Lord Shen and the Grand Duke of Owls. In his own words, he hates that he has to share a living space with a couple of jackoffs who do nothing but give birds a bad name.
- Ever since Marie's father introduced a particularly troublesome cat into their home when she was still a little girl, Paulie has been afraid of cats. As such, he avoids the Hall of Felines and cat deities of the Pantheon in general.
- Paulie wishes that people would stop asking if he wants a cracker. Sure, crackers are good and all, but he would very much prefer a mango.
- Paulie isn't exactly sure how he feels about Meg March and Adrian Monk. One time, he accidentally mistook Meg for Marie
, and Adrian for his friend Misha Vilyenkov. The resemblance is super uncanny. He admits that they both seem to be nice people, though.
Quasideities
Bakarasu
Bakarasu, Divine Bird That Cries "Idiot" (Aesop)

- Quasideity, Demigod when brainwashed
- Symbol: His head
- Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
- Portfolio: Calling Out "Baka", Clever Crows, Funny Animal, Plucky Comic Relief, Speech-Impaired Animal, Twisting Boss's Messages
- Domain(s): Crows, Calling "Idiot"
- Allies: Boss, The Mazinger Z family (tangentially), the Murkrow Flock, Heckle and Jeckle
- Enemies: The easily annoyed, The Crow
- Opposes: Brainwashers
- Bakarasu the myna bird made his debut in Episode 69 of the original series, heckling his future "master" Boss while he and his buddies were cleaning up Boss Borot, and then spent a lot of time harassing the mecha and dodging its attempts to catch him. And in his time at the Photoatomic Research Institute, where he went to escape Boss, he underwent some mischief, including setting off a false emergency alarm, prompting Mazinger Z to sortie when there was no need to. Except during his search, Kouji did indeed find a Robobeast (Goushios Beta 3) and briefly tusssled with it before it retreated. Much later, when that Robobeast arrived at the Institute, Bakarasu actually made significant contribution in the battle against it by warning the heroes (though with little success due to his last prank), and searching for the Robobeast (and getting Boss Borot tangled in the conflict). As an all but sapient animal, he was… certainly out of place for the genre.
- He would later appear sporadically in the Great Mazinger series and rejoin Boss (who doesn't seem to remember him from last time) as a sort-of pet.
- As for why he was chosen? Mere virtue of being a named character, since most instances of Idiot Crows are unnamed and exist solely for gags. And he's a surprisingly early example, too.
- As part of his "duties", Bakarasu is tasked with searching for idiotic moments in the Pantheon, or someone who has done something really stupid, and call them out on it as he flies by. It's a "duty" he quite enjoys doing.
- While only somewhat loyal to Kouji or any of his pals, Bakarasu may distract whatever foe they're fighting if he thinks he can get away with it. He certainly has the agility and the guts to harass kaiju-sized entities. But he's already been subject to Venus A's Photon Beam, so he's a bit more cautious.
- Whatever you do, don't count on him to send a message (by mouth, at least); he'll just screw it up for kicks, as Tetsuya and Jun are aware of.
- Despises brainwashing, having been subject to one scheme himself by Warbeast Bruton of the Mycenae Empire. On the other hand, it made him strong enough to peck through a chair, crash through two windows (one of them reinforced for withstanding underwater pressure, no less), carry a weighted ball meant to chain him down with his wing and fly around with it, still be able to move around even with two such balls, and break out of metal manacles clamping his beak. Or perhaps it just removed his inhibitions if it turns out he's actually capable of this normally, which is a disturbing thought in and of itself.
- Is hopefully a lot more cautious in who to trust, ever since he was tricked by the enemy once to find out plans for the Great Mazinger.
- Eventually encountered other crows in the Pantheon, such as Drinky Crow (whom Bakarasu sometimes heckles during his drunken mishaps), the Murkrow Flock (his more favorite companions, though he leaves whenever those in the "Mazinger family" end up being their targets for the week [unless it's Boss, in which case he's usually in for it]), and the Crow (whom he utterly despises for her genocidal agenda).
- Also has a temple in the Hall of Tics.
Robin Mouse
Robin Mouse, Goddess of Birds Associated with Flutes

- Quasideity
- Symbol: Herself
- Theme Music: It’s a Robin/Robin’s Song
; The Sneak Song
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Portfolio: The Klutz, A Robin Named “Robin”, Bird Raised by Mice, Happily Adopted, Be Yourself
- Domains: Birds, Sneaking, Family
- Heralds: The Mouse Family, Magpie
- Allies: Jerry Mouse, The Hedgies, Mrs. Brisby
- Enemies: Tom Cat, Katz
- Foil to: Swiper the Fox
- Sympathy towards: The Duckling
- A family of mice find an egg that hatches into a robin and they raise her to be part of their family. The mice also go into the homes of various humans to steal food and Robin isn’t really good at stealing thanks to her clumsiness getting the attention of those humans who get cats and set traps to prevent such robberies. Hoping to prove herself as a good “mouse”, Robin decides to go to one of those houses by herself and ends up making a friend with a magpie who steals useless trinkets. One cat is more than aware of how terrible of a mouse Robin is and is determined to eat her, Magpie, and the Mouse family, but it’s Robin understanding her role as a bird who distracts others that defeats this feline menace. With a newfound sense of self, Robin distracts humans while helping the Mouse family and Magpie sneak around houses and steal whatever interests them.
- During another round of sneaking around human homes during winter, the Mouse family went to a house they haven’t visited before and with Robin distracting the residents there, the others went about stealing things. The residents got a bit annoyed seeing a bird outside their home and with noise coming from outside, the rest of the family had to retreat with what they had before Robin could get hurt. While they had a decent amount of food, there was also a star-shaped badge that had some scribbles and the word “Pantheon” on it that was meant to be given to Magpie given his fondness for useless trinkets. One of the Mouse kids wondered if wishing on that star would send them to that Pantheon before being told wishing on a star to go somewhere unique (or for anything else) doesn’t work like that. Regardless of what that badge was or where it came from, it was a glimpse of a much bigger world that was waiting for Robin and the rest of her family.
- Jerry Mouse is no stranger to having to look after small animals and keeping them safe from Tom Cat, so it didn’t take long for Jerry to find himself involved with Robin. What surprised Jerry was that Robin was part of a family of mice and she originally believed herself to be a mouse that can sneak until learning of what she was really good at. One of the Mouse family’s more troubled heists had Tom involved and while they and Magpie were able to escape, Tom was persistent in trying to catch Robin until Jerry stepped in to stop Tom and rescue Robin. Jerry was offered a tour of the Mouse family’s home and was curious about all the stuff from human homes they stole, especially since Jerry has shown that he can live in human homes without causing too much trouble for humans under the right circumstances. Regardless of Jerry’s relatively different lifestyle, he fits in right at home with the Mouse family and has provided support for them and Robin should Tom and/or some other cat become too much of a problem at the moment.
- Mrs. Brisby was another mouse who Robin looked up to thanks to her brave character in trying to find something to help her family. Brisby befriended a crow who, despite his bumbling nature, was able to help out even if he wasn’t part of the Brisby family the same way Magpie became part of the Mouse family. The Mouse family never had a mother-figure and given that Robin wasn’t aware of what happened to her real parents, she regarded Brisby as someone who could fit the mother role. Even though Mrs. Brisby had concerns about the Mouse family going around human homes regularly, she was willing to help out and fit the mother figure role Robin and the rest of the Mouse family never had.
- As the Mouse family finished another round of sneaking, they briefly noticed another group of animals that was about to enter a house not far from the one Robin and the others previously visited. By the time the Mouse family returned home, they noticed a cooler that was moving quickly as a result of some angry humans detecting them. The cooler managed to end up near the Mouse family’s home and Robin would see much more clearly the Hedgies, a group of woodland critters led by RJ the Raccoon. The Hedgies go around sneaking around human homes for food, but have a much more elaborate way of carrying out their plans thanks to RJ’s smarts. Verne and the other hedgies had a familial bond with each other that grew after RJ grew to like them and Verne understood that it was RJ who helped them find better food to survive. The Hedgies have grown fond of Robin and the rest of the Mouse family and have provided them assistance in navigating the homes of humans who are far more selfish than what Robin was used to.
- It wasn’t just houses belonging to humans that were primed for stealing as Robin and the Mouse family would learn. The Hedgies said that they also know of a few other entities that stole food from places outside of houses and it would expand the horizons of Robin while bringing about additional dangers. Mr. Fox had a family and went on heists stealing food from some corrupt farmers while Yogi Bear lives in a park and played plenty of elaborate tricks to take picnic baskets from park-goers. It was going to be daunting for the Mouse family to take their exploits to larger settings, but the Hedgies and their friends are willing to help Robin and her family apply what they learned from stealing from houses into the outside world.
- Robin befriended a magpie who likes stealing useless trinkets and became part of her family after defeating Cat. She would learn of a whole flock of corvids who go around stealing things from people and it turns out that the Murkrow that made up that flock are more than capable in their own way. While the Murkrow flock didn’t win over Robin with their more aggressive method of stealing things, there were a couple of magpies whose methods of trickery were unorthodox enough to get the Mouse family’s attention. Heckle and Jeckle were known for tricking others in the name of trying to get something out of it and they noticed that Robin had fit into the role of being a distraction while the others did the stealing. Her clumsiness wasn’t lost on the duo who believed that Robin’s quirks would help both the duo and the Mouse family get more out of what they’re looking for. For the time being, Heckle and Jeckle weren’t actively involved with the Mouse family given that the magpie duo are more ambitious with their plans compared to the Mouse family’s more modest goals of stealing for the sake of survival, but the duo has still kept an interest in the family.
- Cats have always been a source of concern for Robin, the Mouse family, and Magpie given how the human houses they go to get cats to protect their items and there was one particular cat who was unwilling to give up on her meal before Robin defeated her. For as much as Tom’s human-like behavior is concerning, he is far from the worst cat Robin and company had to deal with. There were other cats who not only acted far more human than Tom ever did, but exhibited openly murderous tendencies such as Katz, who is more than willing to lure victims into fake establishments before killing them. Such areas proved to be an obstacle for Robin and the others in terms of finding what they’re looking for and while Robin has been able to help her friends and family escape from Katz, he’s only grown to hate them as a result of their mischief.
- It came as a surprise to Robin that not all cats were malicious (this also applied to Tom, but Robin generally doesn’t see his friendlier side during their meetings). One such kind-hearted cat was Jennyanydots, who was part of the Jellicle Cats and believed in putting vermin such as mice to good use through things such as dancing and knitting. Robin couldn’t tell which was weirder: the fact that there was a cat who was friendly towards mice or the fact that she was part of a whole group of cats who showed human-like behavior. Despite this, Robin was willing to accept Jennyanydots giving the Mouse family her blessing, which extended towards the “winged mouse” that was Robin herself.
- Despite Robin being a bird raised by mice, Dad Mouse didn’t show any animosity towards her and the bond between bird and mice increased after Cat was defeated and Robin learned to be herself. This was a stark contrast to a duckling who was shunned by the family of ducks that adopted him and he was only able to find happiness after growing into a swan and joining others of his own kind. Hearing about it was disheartening for Robin, who wondered how harder things would be if she was put in a similar spot as the Ugly Duckling and had to find others like her instead of being part of a surrogate family. There were a few other animals who had better luck when it came to being adopted by different animals akin to her, with Robin believing that understanding the strengths of both animals is what allows such a surrogate relationship to thrive.
- Robin is rather clumsy and not very stealthy for someone who is stealing stuff from various houses, but she was eventually able to use it to her advantage by being a distraction while the Mouse family and Magpie did the actual stealing. Swiper the Fox was another thief who isn’t good at stealing, but had far more of a mischievous streak than Robin and her close associates. Even when Swiper had his better moments both as a being and when it came to successfully swiping things, he’s not taken seriously for the most part and while the Mouse family steals to survive, Swiper swipes because he wants to. Swiper’s attempts at swiping stuff from the Mouse family have been easily thwarted and while Robin does feel a little bad for Swiper, there were plenty of other more dangerous thieves that could break into the Mouse family’s home to worry about.
- Robin isn’t good at pretending to be a mouse and her bumbling around in various homes before finding what she was good at only added to it. One other entity with a more drastic method of blending in with a bad disguise was Octodad, who pretended to have a human family while trying to navigate life and avoid trouble. It was weird enough for Robin to not only see someone else pretend to be something that they’re not, but to blend in with the same humans that Robin and her family have been trying to avoid to the best of their abilities. Despite Robin’s confusion about the whole thing (even if she had no animosity towards him), Octodad was a kind soul who had no problem with Robin, saw her as an adorable bird, and could relate to her struggles of trying to be something different from what she actually is.
