  • On Histeria!, the host of the Great Blunders in History segment was named Sarah Coopersmithfitzwarengoldenheimerstein.
  • According to House of Mouse, the full name of Panchito from The Three Caballeros is Panchito Romero Miguel Junipero Francisco Quintero González III.
    • The name is explained in song. Romero is from his father's best man, Miguel is from his father, Junipero is from his mom's favorite brother and Francisco Quintero is from the minister who married his parents.

    • In 1940s comics, his full name was originally given as El Gayo José Francisco Sandro de Lima y la Loma Pancho Allegre.
    • And in promotional materials for the original film, it was Panchito Pistoles, the one short name he's ever had.
  • The Simpsons: Selma Bouvier Terwilliger Hutz McClure thought that adding Nahasapeemapetilon was a stretch too far. Didn't stop her adding Stu later, though...

  • The woman whose got constantly interrupted by Oxy Moron speaker in the mock commercial...thing in Sheep in the Big City has a really long name: Smythe Robertson Johnson Weathermocker Von Herbertson-Berski-Jackson.
    • In one of the minor sketches on the show, we have a man named Ivanovich Malkovich Ivanich Fiftyskitch Fallsinaditch Thatsagoodpitch Romanov. But since he's friends with the female character, he tells her "There's no need to call me by my FORMAL name...Just call me Ivanovich...Malkovich Ivanich Fiftyskitch Fallsinaditch Thatsagoodpitch. You can leave out the 'Romanov' bit." To which the female character responds with "Oh, thank you Ivan...ahem...thanks!"
      • When the female character's fiancee caught her with Ivanovich Malkovich Ivanich Fiftyskitch Fallsinaditch Thatsagoodpitch Romanov, he said he didn't believe to see her being that close to his best friend, to which Ivanovich Malkovich Ivanich Fiftyskitch Fallsinaditch Thatsagoodpitch Romanov said he wasn't the fiancee's best friend. The fiancee then referenced Romanov as someone he calls by the twenty first names.

  • Fanboy and Chum Chum: The full name of Professor Flan is revealed to be Jonathan James Jasper Jackson Jamarcus Jaminiquide J.J. Flan, Jr.
  • Rabbit Ears Productions had a VHS series of American and world folktales. From New England came the tale of sea captain Stormalong, who previously served under Captain Phineas Elijah Jeremiah Ebenezer Josiah Cheever Gesundheit.
  • In the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "One Krabs' Trash", Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen was the name of the guy who owned the soda drink hat. It isn't quite as long as others but it's long enough to not fit on his headstone.
  • In one of the earlier episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Aang gives the alias "Bonzu Pippinpadaloxicopolis III" to a city guard whilst disguised as an old man. Katara picks up on this immediately with "hi...June Pippinpadaloxicolopis, nice to meet you."
  • One episode of Chowder involved a game known in full as "Field Tournament Style Up-and-Down On the Ground Manja Flanja Blanja Banja Ishka Bibble Babble Flabble Doma Roma Floma Boma Jingle Jangle Every Angle Bricka Bracka Flacka Stacka Two Ton Rerun Free for All Big Ball." Mung Daal believed it brings bad luck to call the game by anything other than its full name. In the book that gives each episode's title at the beginning, everything before "Big Ball" is written in small print that turns it into Unreadably Fast Text.
  • Aqua Teen Hunger Force had a milder example with Carl, whose full name is Carl Brutananadilewski.
    • There's also "The Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future", from the episode of the same name.
  • From Phineas and Ferb, there's that evil scientist Rodney's full name: Aloyse Everheart Elizabeth Otto Wolfgang Hypatia Gunther Galen Gary Cooper von Roddenstein.
  • Watching Family Guy and seeing "Cherry Chevapravatdumrong" in the credits, you might be tempted to think that's a deliberate application of the trope, but no, it's the Real Life name of a Thai-American co-producer and story editor on the show.
    • Lampshaded when a character was introduced to replace Diane Simmons and given that name, but says she changed it because "they'd never let that name on television."

  • "It's not Slickback, it's A Pimp Named Slickback! You say the whole thing, like A Tribe Called Quest!"
  • While they weren't that extraordinarily long taken individually, the names of characters in the Schoolhouse Rock! installment on pronouns (Rufus Xavier Sarsaprilla, Rafaella Gabriela Sarsaprilla, Albert Andreas Armadillo) are repeated in full so many times in the song that they seem like this trope. Which is deliberate, the better to convince kids that Some Pronouns Need to Be Dropped.
  • Total Drama has several: Harold's full name is Harold Norbert Cheever Doris McGrady V, Cody is Cody Emmett Jameson-Anderson, and Blaineley is Mildred Stacey Andrews-O'Halloran.
  • According to his toy bio, the full name of the character DJ from Cars is Devon Montgomery Johnston III.
    • Other cars with long names include Winford Bradford Rutherford, Richard Clayton Kensington, Antonio Veloce Eccellente, and Costanza Della Corsa.
  • The full name of the main character from El Tigre, Manuel Pablo Gutierrez O'Brian Equihua Rivera.
  • Shenzi Marie Predatora Vendetta Jackalina Hyena from The Lion King (1994), according to the Direct-to-Video film The Lion King 1½.
  • Horatio Thelonius Ignatius Crustaceous Sebastian from The Little Mermaid (1989).
  • Nibbler from Futurama. As he himself said ... "In the time it would take to pronounce one letter of my true name, a trillion cosmoses would flare into existence and sink into eternal night."
    • Also Father Changstein El-Gamal of the First Amalgamated Church (his name is to demonstrate that he is the product of all the dominant 20th-century religions).
  • Princess Kidagakash Nedakh from Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
  • The Life and Times of Juniper Lee: Monroe Connery Boyd Carlyle McGregor Scott V.
  • On the South Park episode "Chef Goes Nanners," Chef decides to drop his "slave name" and becomes Abdul Mohammad Jabar-Rauf Kareem Ali. Since "Chef" was formerly written on his apron, he's replaced it with his new name...but it's so long that it won't fit, so he needs someone standing next to him with a sign.
    • When the Broflovskis move to San Francisco, all the other couples they meet have different surnames, and give hyphenated names to their children. In one case, the parents each already had two surnames and gave their child all four.
  • Played for laughs in the otherwise very serious episode "Alone Together" of Ben 10: Alien Force, when Ben attempts to socialize with the Highbreed lord he is forced to team with by exchanging their names:
    Ben: My name is Ben, Ben Tennyson. What's yours?
    Highbreed: I am known as Corine Reinrassic III, seventh son of the noble Highbreed house of Dirassa, direct descendant of the High Order of Raseckt. Heir to the-
    Ben: I'm gonna call you Reiny.
    Highbreed: That is disrespectful, Ben-Ben Tennyson!
  • On Danger Mouse, Dr. Augustus P. Crumhorn's lengthy real name has Barry Manilow in it.
  • In The Treacle People, there is a Scottish character who goes by the name of Alistair Ocintoshin McMurdo of the Clan McMurdo of Ayr & Frune. He insists on always being called this, though the rest of the characters just call him "Digger", with Silas Mitten occasionally referring to him as McMurdo.
  • In the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic episode "Equestria Games", Spike is known among the Crystal Ponies as "Great and Honorable Spike the Brave and Glorious".
  • Gravity Falls
    • "The Inconveniencing" features Grunkle Stan getting stuck watching a British period piece drama called The Duchess Approves, "starring Sturley Stempleburgess as The Duchess and Grampton St. Rumpterfrabble as irascible coxswain Saunterblugget Hampterfuppinshire".
    • In "The Last Mabelcorn", Mabel and her friends meet a unicorn named Celestabellebethabelle.
  • Looney Tunes
    • The 1937 short Porky the Wrestler has wrestler Hugo Bernowskiwoskimowskiskowski. The referee announcing his name stumbles over it, and eventually gives up with "Aw, him!"
    • In the 1965 short Assault and Peppered, Daffy Duck is here known as Don Daffy de la Scrooge del Meanie del Tora de la Quack, Jr.
    • 1936's Plane Dippy has Porky with a rather long knob which he vocally announces to the sergeant after (a) he can't say "Porky" without stuttering, and (b) he can't even write it on a chalkboard without stuttering. It's Porky Cornelius Washington Otis Lincoln Abner Aloysius Casper Jefferson Philbert Horatius Narcissus Pig.
  • Earthworm Jim: Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-Filled, Malformed, Slug-For-A-Butt, whose full name (title?) is spoken in full at least once in each episode she appears in.
  • In the 2 Stupid Dogs episode, "Vegas Buffet", the little dog is desperate to want to go to the Super Cheap Economy-Styled One Pound Hot Dog Buffet.
  • The Powerpuff Girls: In the episode, "Powerpuff Bluff", the mayor has a poodle statue that he always addresses as his priceless, very rare, one-of-a-kind, porcelain poodle.
  • The full name of the main character in Fiddley Foodle Bird was Fiddley Foodle Bim Bam Boodle Oo Diddley-Doodle Oodle Bird.
  • In the Star vs. the Forces of Evil episode "Gift of the Card", Miss Heinous (disgraced headmistress of St. Olaf's Reform School for Wayward Princesses) sends a lizard-man mercenary named Rasticore Chaosus Disastorvayne after Star and Marco.
  • Class of 3000: Eddie's full name is stated in several episodes to be Edward Phillip James Lawrence III. There's also the the ditzy Madison Spaghettini Papadopoulus.
  • The Amazing World of Gumball: Darwin's full name? Darwin Radlin Caspian Ahab Poseidon Nicodemus Watterson III.
  • On The Loud House, Bobby's full name is apparently Roberto Alejandro Martinez Millan Luis Santiago, Jr.
  • Season 4 of Bojack Horseman introduces us to Hollyhock Manheim-Mannheim-Guerrero-Robinson-Zilberschlag-Hsung-Fonzerelli-McQuack. She explains that she has eight dads, all of whom are involved in a single polyamorous gay marriage.
    BoJack: Of the Newhaven Manheim-Mannheim-Guerrero-Robinson-Zilberschlag-Hsung-Fonzarelli-McQuacks? (Beat) That was a joke. I've never heard of your family and/or law firm.
  • Xiaolin Chronicles has Boris Antonio Rolf Jean-Pierre Gaulle LeGrand IV, who's name is so long the characters decided to call him Ping-Pong instead. He's also a Parody Stu.
  • An episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog featured (and was titled), the precious, wonderful, adorable, loveable duckling who was always referred to by that full name.
  • In the Ready Jet Go! episode "Moon Circus”, when the gang plans to take the circus to the moon, they come up with a bunch of overly long codenames for the mission such as "Codename Less Gravity On The Moon For A Secret Surprise Party For Carrot".
  • The main character of Steven Universe has his father's last name, with the latter half of his mother's name as his middle name. Then his extended family keeps growing, and by the name we reach the Sequel Series, his name has extended to Steven Quartz Cutiepie DeMayo Diamond Universe.
  • Detention: Gug's full name is Ramone Fernando Francisco Jose de San Martin Gugleamo III.
