  • During the first council of the gods, Magran mentions the possibility of Eothas "absorbing his children." It is only later revealed what this actually means: The Godlike are infused by the Gods with part of their essence as an emergency repository of it or a possible body to possess. And you never get to see a Godlike of Eothas...

  • For Aloth's personal quest of investigating the "painted masks", you peer into the soul of the Wahaki chieftain in oder to figure out how they became the xenophobic Ancient Order of Protectors they are now. Within, you meet Thaos, who tried to convince a previous chieftain to abandon the Engwithian ruins they had settled into. This memory ends with you burning him at the stake. It isn't as bad as it would normally be, but it can't be a pretty sight...

  • Xoti's Bad Ending. If you don't empty her the souls in her lantern, her nightmares slowly turn her into a Mad Oracle and in her ending, she becomes a full-fleged Serial Killer, unable to destinguish between the souls of the living and the dead.

  • Edér's personal quest deals with an Eothasian Apocalypse Cult. You board their ship in order to save the son of his disceased Old Flame. After the fight, you find out that everbody but the son and the Cult Leader already has drunk poison. While you can still talk the son out of it, the leader commits suicide right before your eyes...

  • Depending on how you ended her quest in the first game, a blacksmith in Periki's Overlook sells the breastplate of the Devil of Caroc, who was torn into pieces by vengeful villagers. The kicker: you can still feel parts of her soul clinging to it...
