Reverend D-Von

"See you in yo dreams!"

• The series "WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth SEASON MODE: DDP" features many different characters throughout, but no character is more infamous than that of Reverend D-Von. Throughout the Season Mode you're able to talk to multiple NPCs backstage for different events to play out, but for whatever reason Reverend D-Von would almost always be backstage and only had a single event where he'd ask for donations. While on the streams this was seen in a comedic light, with Jawnny constantly bickering with chat/the other nL members on whether or not to donate to him, the highlight videos edited by Beefy (also known as Surberus) would take the direction in a different light.
  • While the idea of a man constantly just wanting donations from the same person can be funny, the fact that an NPC just would not go away can be seen as pretty creepy. Beefy's editing expands on this by featuring Reverend D-Von as actually being a demon haunting nL and the viewer throughout the series. This is done through jumpscares, cutting to text saying phrases such as "Don't look behind you" and having the Demon D-Von image Fade In multiple times throughout (and even being the thumbnail for one of the parts).

  • After the finale of the Season Mode the video continues on to a new scene featuring the Season Mode menu without any commentary from nL, it goes to a new game and slowly goes to pick D-Von Dudley before leaving off with a cliffhanger.
