What the series lacks in Gross Out, it makes up for in general creepiness.
- The cutesy "Squishy" turns around to reveal a very off-putting face in the Cold Open of "Pie Fight!/Honest Abe Has a Close Shave", while addressing how he's considered "'too cute' for the Garbage Pail Show".
- The monsters in "The House That Dripped Crud". They turn out to be somewhat friendly, but they're still kind of freaky-looking.
- Mother Goose and the king's horses in "A Rhyme in Time" are absolutely hideous. They look like something Basil Wolverton drew.
