- Sarris has an impressively creepy design for a parody film, especially thanks to the articulate crustacean-like appendages protruding from his skull.
- Sarris deliberately suffocates the Thermians out of spite.
- There's also his torturing of the previous commander of the Protector, largely for his own amusement.Thermian: I have told you all I know. If you have any mercy left in you, let me die.Sarris: When I grow weary of the noises you make, you shall die!
- According to Laliari, he takes some of the Thermian females for his own purposes...
- Also, the sheer murderous glee on Sarris's face as he kills the crew on the bridge after sneaking aboard the Protector.
- Sarris notices that Jason and co. are actors and the Thermians have based their entire belief system on their adventures to give them hope after Sarris' invasion, not understanding it's a show. So he has Jason explain to the childlike and idealist Mathesar this truth as he would tell how Santa isn't real, to crush his hopes entirely. It didn't serve any practical purpose other than to be cruel for the sake of being cruel.
- Before this, he states to potentially prepare a tear harness for the female, referring to Gwen, which if you're an adult, this line has some truly repugnant implications beyond simple torture.
- Sarris's moment where he shoots down the crew all without saying a word as he guns down each member, it starkly shifts from the heroic victory from before, turning the situation to its most dire. Luckily, Jason utilizes the Omega 13 in time to reverse time to stop Sarris from doing it again.
- The Beryllium Miners, a race of short, childlike creatures with seemingly innocent faces. They seem to be concerned when one of their own is limping, which makes their sudden change to expose their violent natures all the more shocking when they decide to pounce and devour the sap whole with sadistic glee with their childlike faces becoming feral with rows of sharp teeth with Guy foreshadowing this exact situation describing how their cuteness will turn ugly and that there will a lot more to deal with.
- Guy: Of course they're cute now. But in a second they're going to turn mean and ugly somehow and then there are going to be a million more of them!
- A native pig-like, two-legged beast that Jason is seemingly being sacrificed to, becomes the victim of a teleportation gone horribly wrong, turning inside out while still alive and then exploding.
- It turns out that it wasn't this creature that the Miners were sacrificing Jason to, but an entity comprised of rocks combining together to kill him while being perpetually angry with all of the noise he's causing.
