And this is the same guy who continuously calls Mario a sociopath?

  • It starts off as silly and lighthearted, with most of the animatronics (sans Springtrap, obviously) even getting some Adaptational Heroism. Then in the ending of the supercut, MatPat, aka Phone Guy, comes to the office with a chainsaw/flamethrower, intending to kill everyone there for no given reason. He even succeeds in killing AJ. Mark manages to stop him by siccing Springtrap on him, but Freddy Fazbear's Pizza burns to the ground in the process, complete with a somber reprise of the first night's song, and some actually pretty terrifying screaming from Phone Guy. Talk about a Subverted Kids' Show!
  • Part 2. All of it, and it can also qualify as Tear Jerker. Mark decides to fight back against the animatronics and comes back with a fully loaded MP-5 submachine gun, intending to hunt them down. The only problem is, the animatronics are not hostile; they don't want to hurt him. One can't help but feel sorry for them as they are hunted down by a man who's clearly losing his mind. That these are cute, friendly puppets in this version does nothing to stop him from trying to hunt them down, as they cower, trying to avoid being seen. Eventually, Mark accidentally shoots the buildings Janitor. (Although his "You're not Foxy" remark afterward can either make it better or worse.)
    • The song he sings during that part is the darkest and scariest in the musical.
  • The climax. The killer locks everyone in and chainsaws his way through the wall. That alone is terrifying.
The Killer: Uh? Hello? Hello! Hello! Oh, hey! Congratulations! It looks like you guys managed to survive… Five Nights at Freddy's! That’s pretty awesome! Uh, unfortunately (thump) that really wasn’t how I, uh, expected all of this to end (thump). (Doors close) See, I… I-I really thought you guys would all turn on each other by now… but you didn’t (thump). So I guess I have to drop by the office... (Chainsaw starts and everyone panics) (The Killer breaks into the office wearing a mascot suit wielding a chainsaw and flamethrower) AND FINISH (takes off mascot suit head) THE JOB!
Markiplier: Can somebody tell me what’s going on?
The Killer: Why, this is a crime scene! And you're the victims... (Evil Laugh)
    • AJ tells him off, so he kills him with a chainsaw. He then reminds Mark that the animatronics just want to say hi, and Mark replies "Not all of them." and lets Springtrap loose. The killer proceeds to decapitate Springtrap, but it still attacks him anyway. In a mindless fit of terror, the killer sets off his flamethrower. The whole place burns to the ground, and we can hear his screams of agony. He also doesn't die.
  • Even the first prequel, "Blood And Tears", has some shades of this. It stars Circus Baby... not as a cute hand puppet with no intention to harm people, but as a live-action human clown girl, tormented by the endless shocks and burns she's been put through, and willing to murder other people to escape from her hell. We see her try to do this to AJ, but the 6:00 a.m. mark is all that saved him. Which means if AJ walked into her trap any sooner, she would have succeeded. It's also Harsher in Hindsight, considering that AJ was spared death that fateful night, but later won't be so lucky in his encounter with MatPat.
    • For bonus points? Circus Baby is played by SparrowRayne, who you may know better as Yandere-chan from "Senpai Notice Me", and definitely has creepy down.
  • The latter half of "Web Of Lies", when Glitchtrap is brought out of the computer, terrorizes Elizabeth, and abducts Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. Not to mention, goddamn Trash And The Gang manage to restrain them, and be genuinely intimidating while doing so.
