VERIVERY is a South Korean boy band that debuted under Jellyfish Entertainment on January 9, 2019 with the song "Ring Ring Ring". The members are Lee Dongheon, Bae Hoyoung, Hong Minchan, Jo Gyehyeon, Ju Yeonho, Kim Yongseung, and Yoo Kangmin.

VERIVERY provides examples of the following tropes

  • Catchphrase: When VERIVERY debuted in 2019, their original greeting was "Let's show who we are!" In 2020, their greeting was changed to "Let's face who we are!" to match the "Face It" album trilogy and hasn't been changed since.
  • Darker and Edgier: Though they debuted with the bright concept of "Ring Ring Ring", starting from their release of "Tag Tag Tag" in late 2019 through the release of "Undercover" in early 2022, VERIVERY explored darker concepts and themes. In late 2022, they returned to their bright concept with "Tap Tap."
  • Singer-Songwriter: All of the members from time to time but particularly Dongheon, Yeonho, Gyehyeon, and Yongseung.
