Sofia Lauren Daccarett Char (born April 10, 1993, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida), better known as Sofia Carson, is an American actress and singer. She portrayed Evie in Descendants and its sequels as well as Tessa/Bella from A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits.
In 2015, Carson signed with Hollywood Records and Republic Records. She released her debut single "Love is the Name" and promotional single "I'm Gonna Love You" in 2016. In February 2017, she released "Back to Beautiful" with Norwegian DJ Alan Walker and was written by Julia Michaels.
