Rukkus (Music)
Stephen Crouse, known as Rukkus, NIGHTKilla, and other aliases, is an American musician who specializes in dubstep. He started his music career uploading various tracks mainly in the Techno and Dance genres to Newgrounds in 2007, and he made his first dubstep track titled "Nightfall" in 2010. After that, he continued to make more dubstep songs, both original songs and remixes, to the point that he would stop making Techno songs. He has not released a song since 2014, though he has stated that he will come back to producing music in 2025 after focusing on his job.

Rukkus' songs are frequently used in Nine Circles-styled levels in Geometry Dash. The trend was named after a level by Zobros, which used his song "Nine Circles".

Tropebreaker:

  • Bookends: Some of his songs use the intro motif as the outro after the second drop, such as in "Jawbreaker", "Fairydust", and "Poltergeist".
  • Circles of Hell: His song "Nine Circles" is named after Dante's theory of the Nine Circles of Hell.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Although he has made music as far back as 2007, he didn't make dubstep music until in 2010.
  • I Have Many Names: Some of his aliases include Rukkus, NIGHTKilla (often abbreviated as NK), Realistik, DJ-c, and qbig.
  • "Untitled" Title: One of his songs is titled "Untitled Beat".
