
Remy Zero were an alternative rock band from Birmingham, Alabama. Formed in 1989, it consisted of Cinjun Tate on vocals, Shelby Tate and Jeffrey Cain on the guitars, Cedric LeMoyne on bass and Louis Schefano on drums, who later was replaced by Gregory Slay.
The band has released three full length albums before disbanding in 2003. They reformed in 2010, playing shows as tribute to drummer Slay who died in January of that year. They released a self-titled EP in October of the same year before disbanding again.
The band is known for "Save Me", which has become the theme song for Smallville, though songs from their discography also appeared in other media, such as Garden State, Charmed, She's All That and The Last Kiss.
