Love/Hate are an obscure American hard rock band. Their sound is characterized by rocking guitars, lead singer's Jizzy Pearl's falsetto, and surprisingly dense lyrics.
Not to be confused with the Irish drama series.
This band provides examples of:
- Lyrical Dissonance: "Hell CA Pop. 4", an upbeat rocker about a serial killer.
- Nonindicative Name: One would expect a song named "Don't fuck with me" to be aggressive in nature. It's a peace song.Do unto others as you'd have others do unto youDon't fuck with me, and I won't fuck with you.
- Ode to Intoxication: If a song isn't about Intercourse with You, it's probably this trope. "Fuel To Run" (about alcohol), "One More Round" (also about alcohol), "Mary Jane" (where the "joint" getting passed around might actually be a thirteen-year-old girl)...
