Douwe Bob Posthuma (born 12 December 1992), known professionally as Douwe Bob, is a Dutch singer-songwriter.
Douwe Bob is perhaps best known for representing The Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, where he placed eleventh with the song "Slow Down". He returned to Eurovision the following year as the Dutch jury vote presenter.
Prior to Eurovision, Douwe Bob participated in the first season of the Dutch talent show De beste singer-songwriter van Nederland note , which he also won. Douwe Bob's debut single, "Multicolored Angels", became a hit in the country upon his victory.
He's released three studio albums to date: Born in a Storm, Pass It On, and Fool Bar. His 2015 single, "Hold Me" is a collaboration with Anouk, who previously represented The Netherlands at Eurovision in 2013 with the song "Birds."
