Cold 187um, also known as Big Hutch, the Psychopathic Assassin and his real name, Gregory Fernan Hutchinson, is a gangsta rapper and G-Funk pioneer, and the founder of Above the Law. A big part of Ruthless Records' success, Cold 187um produced music for Eazy-E and was widely praised for his production skills. He later had a brief stint at Death Row Records, where he touched up production on previously unreleased Tupac Shakur and Tha Dogg Pound tracks for release. After being jailed for drug trafficking, Hutch has remained active as a member of Above The Law and a solo rapper.

Most recently, Cold 187um was signed with Psychopathic Records. His 2012 album, The Only Solution, is a Concept Album in which Cold 187um portrays an assassin hired by "The Company" when somebody "needs to be taken care of". None of the album's instrumentals were written or performed by Hutch, who instead hand-selected previously released beats from well-known Psychopathic artists like Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Anybody Killa. This was done intentionally to introduce Juggalos to Cold 187um, as he was well known to Gangsta Rap fans, but not to ICP's fanbase. This didn't work, though, as the album sold well, but Juggalos didn't like Hutch very much.
