"I'm true to myself. I don't talk about guns, violence, and hustling crack, because I don't know that life. I rap about getting fucked up, chillin', girlies... basically the stuff an average 20 year old is into."

Chris Webby and his work provides examples of:
- An Aesop: The moral of "Triggered" is that you should stop being so offended by everything and learn to take a joke once in a while since it's good for your health.
- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: His song ADD.
- Fan Community Nickname: His fans are his Ninjas.
- Intercourse with You: "Runaround Web" among others.
- Love Makes You Crazy: The appropriately named "Crazy Ass Bitch."
- Self-Deprecation: Most of "Triggered"'s second verse has Webby make fun of himself by mocking his hairline, alcoholism, drug usage, and thinness due to not working out.
- The Stoner: About half of his songs deal with this.
