- "Wonk" Explanation The game features an odd pronunciation of "wank", a rare example of profanity not being censored.
- "Fhuk" (pronounced as 'F-you-ck') Explanation An odd pronunciation and spelling of 'fuck', to get around the word filter.
- "Honk honk fhuker!" Explanation Clown's catchphrase, which he has a tendency to spout off at random intervals.
- "#Save[Character]" Explanation For Survivor Edition, the faux-hashtag "#Save[Character]" is often thrown around in an attempt to ensure said character survives.
- STUPID SEXY CLING ON Explanation Cling On gets a lot of... provocative fan art (sometimes crossing into Rule 34).
- Puns on "Jahn".
- "Kappa?" Explanation Cling On gets "Qapla" (Klingon for "success") as a happy phrase in episode 52, but the text-to-speech program makes it sound like "Kappa" (a much-reviled Twitch emoticon) instead. Vinny continually defends this whenever fan art relating to the subject pops up.
- Cling On is Southbird's waifu. Explanation Captain Southbird is a self-admitted Cling On fanboy, and every time a romantic/provocative picture of her comes up he'll likely be namedropped (in the former instance, often as her "true" mate). This "out-of-band" video milks this for all it's worth.
- Two Faced's Split Personality. Explanation It's only referenced once, but fans have latched onto the idea that Two Faced has two personalities for each of her faces, with art on the subject sometimes playing it up for creepiness or sadness (usually by depicting one side as good and the other as evil). On a lesser note, the prospect of her splitting apart has been brought up, and at least one person has made connections to Garnet.
- Many artists have connected Sponge to Metal Gear in some way (due to his eyepatch).
