- Jump and press the circle button!Explanation Bentley tells this to Sly when he tries to grab on pipes in the first game, and variations of the same line show up across the series. It went on to the point that Kevin Miller used this as a notification sound for starting his livestreams on Twitch.
- In the same vein as Batman, many fans have joked that Sly's seemingly well-adjusted nature in spite of his tragic backstory is clearly meant to mask the mental toll of everything he's experienced.
Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus
- "This pistol packs a paralyzing punch!" Explanation A line from Carmelita towards Sly at the start of the game, memorable for its Added Alliterative Appeal.
- "Palms of thunder!" Explanation One of Panda King's Calling Your Attacks from his Flame-Fu. It helps that it was heard during most of his boss battle.
Sly 2: Band of Thieves
- From the freshly-breaded lips of Dimitri:
- Greasy sweet! Explanation Probably the phrase most associated with Dimitri, and first said by him during the Have a Nice Death cutscene for his boss fight to defend his suit after Sly insulted it (see below). Can be used to praise something you really like.
- Cracker-box. Explanation An insult Dimitri makes towards Sly a few times across this game and the next, and possibly the other most famous utterance of Dimitri's slang.
- "I have no idea what you're saying. And your suit sucks!"Explanation Sly's response to Dimitri's We Can Rule Together speech. Can be used if someone made a nonsensical statement.
- "Inconceivable! She's no healthcare professional!"Explanation Bentley's reaction to learning about the Contessa's true nature. Can be used to make fun of unreliable healthcare.
Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves
- "Enough with the sauce!"Explanation Bentley's response to Sly's repeated tangents about pasta sauce. This was used in videos where "sus" is frequently mentioned, even before a certain game propagated the word to infamy.
- Thug Life Bentley. Explanation Thanks to Character Development, Bentley's attitude in Honor Among Thieves has become far more assertive and cocky compared to that of the first two games, as exemplified by one-liners towards antagonists like Octavio and Muggshot, the latter especially.
- "Your mother was a broken down tub of junk with more gentleman callers than the operator!"Explanation In an attempt to get him angry enough to lure him into a fight, Bentley describes Muggshot's mom as a whore (or rather a "bitch" given that she's a dog). As an especially verbose Your Mom joke helped along by Matt Olsen's own smug delivery of the line, it immediately became immortalized as one of the most iconic lines in the series.
- Okay, now that's some real damage.Explanation Sly's Casual Danger Dialogue when Crusher the kraken breaks the ship's masts. Can be used in a variety of situations, including but not limited to the promotion of Flex Tape.
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
- "I BELIEVE THE TIME IS NOW!"Explanation Hammily expressed by Sir Galleth when he discusses plans with Bentley, this line had a period of popularity soon after the game's release.
- #FreeSlyFromEgyptExplanation (spoilers) Fans who were unhappy about the game's ending where Sly ended up lost in Ancient Egypt wanted a fifth game where the cliffhanger was resolved.
