Capcom has been known for its history of popular games, as well as the memes that are derived from them. You can also find memes within the subpages for the following series:
- Frank West has covered wars, you know…ExplanationFrank says that he's covered wars early in the game in response to someone questioning his ability to survive in the Willamette Mall, before it becomes clear that covering a zombie apocalypse is going to be a little harder. Became an Ascended Meme in future Dead Rising games, as any reference to Frank West will mention that he has, in fact, covered wars y'know.
- THIS IS
SPARTA MY STORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE!ExplanationSteven Chapman, one of the Psychopath bosses, is fairly well-known for his constant, random screaming about defending his convenience store from looters. His yelling habit usually throws people off or causes them to laugh.- CLEAN UP! REGISTER SIX!ExplanationSteven has a jump scare in his death scene after realizing that Frank is actually a customer. He slumps over, the camera focuses on his face, and then Chapman snaps up and shouts this phrase. He falls over again afterwards.
- WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL HE AIN'T MY BOY BUT THE BROTHA IS HEAVAY~ExplanationThe Convict Psychopath fight has the song "Gone Guru" by Lifeseeker playing while the player is either near them or getting chased by the Convicts on their jeep. The Convicts stay in the Mall's Leisure Park (a central zone that makes for a good shortcut in-game) and, in marked contrast to other Psychopaths, will actually respawn after a in-game day has passed, which means the opening line to this song gets played constantly.
- Don't cut me off like that; it's rude! Now, like I was saying...ExplanationOtis is the guy who tells Frank what's happening in the mall thanks to using its surveillance network, relaying what he sees via a walkie-talkie Frank is holding. Otis is also universally despised by players, because taking Otis' calls forces Frank to walk and makes him unable to attack, and it is incredibly easy to get interrupted by random zombies or a Psychopath you're currently fighting. Getting interrupted leads to Otis admonishing you with the quoted line, even though he should damn well know Frank just got attacked. The pain is made worse by the achievement tied to Otis, where you have to take all his calls throughout the entire game without being interrupted or missing a single call.
- I BET YOU GET ROCK HARD JUST THINKIN' ABOUT ME, DON'T YOU CHUCKIE?Explanation One of the Psycho Leon Bell's more questionable taunts towards Chuck Greene of Dead Rising 2, being one of his more memorable lines.
- Tape nails to it.ExplanationChuck can make just about any combo weapon with a little duct tape.
- This is no time to ogle pretty girls, son!Explanation Said by an unnamed old man to Frank during his first visit to the Willamete Mall's Entrance Plaza, after Frank had been eyeballing Isabela Keyes for a few seconds.
- Good job covering that left flank, 8-Ball!ExplanationOne of the dead soldiers under Sgt. Dwight Boykind was apparently nicknamed 8-Ball, and the Sgt. (post-Sanity Slippage) compliments the corpse on covering the left flank.
- "When the zombies came, everybody died!"ExplanationSaid by Adam the Clown right before your fight with him.
- Muda da! MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA! ZA WARUDO. Toki yo tomare! Soshite, toki wa ugoki dasu. ROAD ROLLER DA, WRYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!ExplanationJoJo's Bizarre Adventure, originally a manga comic, got made into a Playstation game. One of the characters, Dio Brando, has a special attack in which he screams "ZA WARUDO" (the closest Japanese transliteration of "The World," his Stand), stops time, throws a bunch of knives at his opponent, lets time resume, crushes them with a steamroller, then stands atop the steamroller and lets out his own similarly memetic Battle Cry. The whole thing can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bti1b77_Hjc.

- Uh-oh!
- The boss is... anything!ExplanationThe first time that The Unintelligible Jamba spoke, his goons reacted with "Uh-oh!" and a translation: "The boss is... seriously angry!", respectively. Jamba's goons did this every time he spoke, and every time after the first the translation was very non-Uh-oh-worthy.
