In a World… which has become a desolated, lawless land, bandits roam free, innocent people suffer, and demons lurk around every corner. Souna Yuuki is a young boy who survives a massacre after his family is killed by a group of bandits called the Hydras, who burn a mark of their emblem into his hand and leaves him to die. Souna is soon rescued by Garami, an Arms Peddler who sells weapons to clients wishing to buy guns. In exchange for rescuing him, Garami makes Souna her servant until he pays his debt to her. Now Souna travels with Garami as her assistant where they travel the land selling guns, while he slowly pays off his debt and searches for the bandits who killed his family.

  • After the End: The series is set after the Earth suffered a cataclysmic war that wiped out modern civilization.
  • Automaton Horses: The main reason Garami uses a zombie horse, that and it can't die.
  • Big Guy Fatality Syndrome: Guraga's death, preventing soldiers from chasing Garami and co.

  • Ghostly Goals: The last of the Gretans actually a random soldier with the prince's memories who stays at the fortress killing any of the Weapons Dealers who come by.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: Garami misses few chances to remind Yuki she does not care about him and keeps him around only as her property, there are however several instances when we learn that she in fact went to great lengths to save him and help him, she just made sure that Yuki was not aware of it.
  • Souna uses it as well: when Garami is kicked out of the guild for having a bounty on her head, a newly-inducted Souna hires her as his bodyguard.
  • My Greatest Failure: The reason the Weapons Dealers Guild never abandon their clients no matter what is due to a past incident 20 years ago when they failed to resupply the Gretans at Nakiro Fortress due to the Balzaans. By the time they manage to fight off the Balzaans and reached the fortress, all of the Gretan defenders were killed. To remind themselves of this failure and to never abandon their clients again, the Guild's calling flag was colored black in honor of the Gretan's black flag.
  • Proud Warrior Race: The Garon, giant horned lionmen who hunt dragons as a rite of passage and were supposedly created by a War God to be stronger than humans.
  • Royals Who Actually Do Something:
    • Princess Aily is on her way to this, considering her age and circumstances.
    • The 8th prince of the Balzaan kingdom wants to end slavery when he ascends the throne.
  • Team Switzerland: The Weapons Dealers Guild are neutral with all factions and try to not make it seem they back one side more than the other.
