Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory (Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun) is an Ecchi/Comedy manga series by Ikumi Hino, which was serialized in Monthly Shonen Ace from 2017 to 2022. In 2021 it was adapted into a 10 episode anime by Kadokawa.
It follows twelve-year old Koushi Nagumo who's life has taken a downhill turn after his house burnt down and his father and sole parent abandoned him. An eccentric woman by the name of Mineru Wachi takes him in and brings him to their all-female dormitory "Megami-ryou".
Tropes in Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun:
- Balanced Harem: No single haremette is given all the focus.
- Beach Episode: Episode six, shamelessly featuring all the main girls in swimsuits.
- Downer Beginning: Begins with Kouishi losing his home, his father and sole parent abandoning him, and him becoming a vagrant all Played for Laughs.
- Fanservice: Quite a lot, mostly involving the girls.
- Harem Genre: One guy living with multiple girls all of which are into him to some degree.
- Intoxication Ensues: Mineru finds a bottle of sake in Serene's room. She then breathes out fumes which cause Atena and Serene to get intoxicated as well.
- Shout-Out: Two of the girls wear Hotter and Sexier Sailor Moon outfits at one point.
- Sick Episode: Episode 10. In something of a Drama Bomb Finale, Kouishi gets bedridden and it's not played for laughs.
- Teeny Weenie: Poor Koushi walks in on three of the girls bathing, Mineru comments on his junk.
