One rainy night, five-year-old Senri Nakajou's parents are brutally murdered and his twin brother, Kazuto, goes missing. Due to a mental link, Senri can feel whenever Kazuto obtains a traumatic injury and even see how. This changes sometime later when a tremendous pain in his head causes Senri to pass out. Before he loses consciousness, Senri receives a vision of the man who murdered their parents: a masked figure whose right arm has a scar roughly in the shape of the character for fire. After this event, the visions Senri and his brother shared suddenly stop, leading Senri to believe that Kazuto was killed.

Thirteen years later, Senri can think of nothing but revenge. Everything he does is to one day find his brother's killer- whom he's dubbed "the 'fire' man"- and kill him. While his childhood friend, Enan, understands where Senri's coming from, she doesn't want him to follow through with it, and is one of the few reasons he hasn't begun tracking him down. However, for the first time in years, Senri receives a vision from Kazuto, giving him hope that his brother is actually alive.

What follows is a hunt to find the "fire" man, Kazuto, and the full truth behind that rainy night.
