* ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'': Although he generally communicates in a verbose and melodramatic manner akin to an actor on a theatre stage, [[AxCrazy Tyrian Callows]] has a very infantile emotional dependence on [[TheDreaded Salem]]. He regards her as a 'goddess' and is desperate to please her. When he fails to complete his task, he initially cowers fawning madly to himself that Salem will forgive him. When he reaches Salem, he crawls towards her, begging for forgiveness. When Salem gently, but coldly, tells him that he has disappointed her, he dissolves into sobs of despair that attract a Beowolf. Tyrian then takes out his despair on the Grimm, slashing it over and over until his sobs turn into maniacal laughter; Cinder witnesses his entire breakdown, and [[HorrifyingTheHorror can only watch in open-mouthed horror]].

** Neo is a CuteButPsycho DarkActionGirl who is in her late twenties but often acts like an overgrown schoolgirl while doing horrific things. This is a shoehorn for many reasons, starting with the fact that Regina is a literal child and not portrayed as a villain in any way

* ''Franchise/AceAttorney'':
** ''VisualNovel/PhoenixWrightAceAttorneyJusticeForAll'': Regina Berry is the teenage daughter of a circus ringmaster, who raised her without ever letting her know about the outside world. As such, she has absolutely no understanding of things like death or pain -- to her, everything is a game or a lighthearted practical joke. Unfortunately, this makes her completely (though unknowingly) selfish and cruel: she does whatever she wants to do whenever she wants to do it, never bothering to consider how her actions might affect the people around her. [[spoiler: The biggest example of this is the fact that she inadvertently put one of the circus's trapeze artists into a coma by playing a prank on him, and repeatedly talks about how he's "sleeping" instead of being nearly brain-dead.]] Albeit, it's somewhat downplayed as she's not ''intentionally'' malicious, and she ''[[InnocentlyInsensitive literally has no idea]]'' that she comes across as cruel. On the flip-side, though, [[spoiler:Acro]] definitely seems to think that she's a fully deliberate case of this.
** ''VisualNovel/GyakutenKenji2'': Blaise Debeste has a penchant for acting like a petty teenage bully, [[OcularGushers excessive weepiness]], playing with his lighter like an entranced child and other bouts of general immaturity, to contrast with his kid who tries (and fails) to act more mature than he really is. The psychopathic part comes from the fact he's unnecessarily creepy about it all, is terribly corrupt, [[ScrewTheRulesIMakeThem believes the truth is something he decides]], and [[spoiler:has killed several people, including his wife by implication, to cover for his crimes]].

Okay, Cinder's Sanity Slippage is being confused for this trope, which requires a childlike nature to create a dissonance between "psychopathic" and "childlike" (due to "childlike" usually meaning "innocence"). Salem isn't even close to this trope, and the entry is wrong about what Yang actually said (it might be an audience reaction interpretation, but Yang never objectively compared Salem to a bratty child, and the fandom's overriding audience reaction was that Yang was downplaying the sheer scale of the "something bad" that happened to her).
