Pantopolis is a book series written by Tyler Donnay. It follows the story of a young hero named Chandler Ezekiel who was destined to save the world from an evil force. The series has a total of 7 books with possible spin-offs. So far only book one has been written but the rest are in progress.

Pantopolis provides examples of:

  • Absurdly Sharp Blade: Literally every weapon in the series can fall under this trope.

  • Because Destiny Says So: Almost literally stated by Titus when he explains to Chandler that he is the chosen one.
  • The Chosen One
  • Decapitation Presentation: Annie had the words "As will everyone you hold dear" engraved into her forehead then was placed on top of a pillar.
  • Energy Ball
  • Fetish: Chandler has a tongue fetish. Also John has a fetish for friggin' cows and even humps ones leg during a school field trip.
  • It Sucks to Be the Chosen One: At first Chandler feels this way.
  • Ki Manipulation: Not called Ki but the characters use energy techniques that are used similarly to Ki.
  • Love Triangle: Multiple. The biggest is Cassie(A) Anthony(B) and Javen(C). Also Amanda(A) Chandler(B) and Tim(C) can be considered a love triangle.
  • Off with His Head!: King Gennaios
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: Nearly every villain's death

  • Posthumous Character: King Gennaios is killed off in the prologue but this doesn't stop him from being one of the most influential characters in the series.
  • Sucking-In Lines
  • Weak, but Skilled: Anthony
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: King Xoxitrion, after being brutally defeated by Cassie, is killed by Relis despite his injuries being able to be healed.
  • You Have Failed Me: Both King Xoxitrion and Private Drake though the latter wasn't killed by Relis' own hand.
